She giggled. "Thanks." she said sarcastically. "I just don't want any," She looked around then whispered "vampires around..." She sighed. She sat back down and took Ians hand.

He frowned at her odd response, but his eyes widened when she whispered. Did he hear that correctly? He hoped to god he didn't. "What? Here? Where?" he whispered back, squeezing her hand.
"I am not sure, b-but we never know..." She didn't mean to scare him. "I'm sorry...maybe I shouldn't have said anything.." She rested her head on his shoulder. "But, anything could happen..."
He sighed softly and stroked her hair. "We're out on the beach in the middle of the day. Last time I checked, vampires can't stand sunlight. So I highly doubt that one's around us right now."
"I know that..." She sighed. "But still... They could be anywhere..." She wanted to drop the topic. She looked at Ian then looked away.
He nudged her gently. "Hey... we came here to get away from all that. Let's try not to think about it."
"Sorry...." She sighed. She knew she shouldn't have said anything. She only made it worse for them. She hated herself at the moment.
"No need to apologise. Do you want to go back into the water?"
"N-No....not really we can find something else to do." She sighed.
He frowned a little, concerned. "Okay... What do you want to do?"
