"S-sorry." She then smiled and looked at him. She was stressed, She picked up her drink and finished it quickly. She put the glass back down and sighed.

Ian watched her for a moment. "Am I... I'm sorry, am I making you uncomfortable?" he asked solemnly, scooting back a little. "You seem... on-edge."
"I-It's not you. I promise." She looked at him and gave him a reassuring smile. "It's just everything else..."
He looked at her. "What, the... the things we're not supposed to talk about in this room anymore?"
"I mean there is that.. but there is more to it.." She stood up and sighed.
"Do you... Do you want to talk about it?"
"You don't want to.." She sighed and laid down on the bed again. "I've already tried so it doesn't matter"
He bit his lips. He knew damn well what she was talking about. He looked down at his hands. "...Is it about us?" he asked softly.
She was silent for a minute. She looked at him and looked away. "Yes, it is. But you don't want to talk about it and clearly don't care about it..." She sighed. She hated herself for saying that but it was true.
He looked up at her when she spoke, and frowned slightly. "...What makes you think I don't care?"
