She finally made it to them. "Uh hey." She didn't know what to say around Victor.
She finally made it to them. "Uh hey." She didn't know what to say around Victor.
Both Victor and George looked up. Victor's gaze was slightly surprised and investigating. George's was welcoming. He scooted over so she could join them at their booth.
"Anna, can we help you?" he asked.
"I was told to either help you guys or entertain the uh guests, I am probably going to do both, but I am here first." SHe sat down across from George not wanting to sit next to him right now.
George nodded slowly at her.
"I don't think you can help us," Victor said, turning back to the laptop in front of him. "I'm going to give our client another call. See if he picks up this time," he said to George and took out his phone, getting up.
"Or I can help. Just tell me what to do." She said with a slight attitude and rolled her eyes.
Victor just gave her a dismissive hand gesture and headed to the bar for his phone call. George shook his head.
"Don't mind him."
She sighed angrily. "Then tell me what to do, because I do not want to entertain guests that are." She stopped and made a disgusted face, "you know."
He nodded. "Maybe just go over last night in your head. Try to remember if anything stood out to you. We need to figure out where your sister is."
She sighed and wrote on the paper exactly what she said to her father and gave it to them as George already 'knew' what happened. She sighed and rested her head on the table.
George nodded slowly, and Victor returned from the bar.
"Still no answer. I bet the coward has turned his phone off. He's probably searching for her as well."
