Personality: Lushak is very quiet for an orc, even for a half orc. She is not easily roused into a frenzy but remains wry in company or on the prowl. She prefers to watch from afar and observe rather than jump directly into the fray or into socializing, which is derived from her curiosity of things. She has a fondness for the simplicity of nature and animals, preferring the quite company of that over humans or other orcs when at all possible.
Background: Lushak was born to a tribe of outlaw orcs to a human mother. Her tribe lived on the outskirts of mordor, frequently raiding villages and travelers that got to close, bringing back women and food.
The living was harsh, but the treatment was harsher. Unfortunately her weak mother didn’t last past her 13th birthday. As she neared her 16th year her attempts to flee became more desperate as she didn’t wish to succumb to the same fate as her poor mother. With time she managed to remain just out of reach of the much bigger and stronger male orcs, eventually managing to put some distance between her and her tribe, though never fully letting them out of her sight as they traveled. From her observations from afar she learned to hunt, make arrows, skin pray and cook until she could care for herself and became quite skilled in her own right. She would venture off on her own but always returned to her tribe's grounds with nowhere else to go. She was elusive but remained close for the safety of proximity.
Things remained this way for many years, She would trail hunting parties back and forth across the borders, always out of reach but always close enough to observe. Any male orc who thought to try and capture her found it difficult to pin her down allowing her a good many years where she wasn’t pressed into the same situation many orc and human females were in. That was until the wrong started showing up, the vicious unknown that followed forced Lushak to seek the greater protection within her tribe's camp. Fortunately for her by that time everyone was to busy fending off these strange creatures that were more fearsome than they were. And day by day they were driven from their home and into the open but unwilling arms of endor and an unsteady alliance.
Other: The orc was still, her breath low and slow as she watched the furry little creature hop between the tree roots. The beasts here seemed so much smaller then the beasts in mordor and she wondered how they survived at all. Her bow already drawn she quietly let out a slow breath as the tiny creature lifted its head, long ears erect just before the arrow pierced its head, giving it a quick painless death. The only sound was the soft thud of its body as it hit the ground. Lushak wasted little time in picking up the little rabbit.
Gripping the dead rabbit by the hind legs she determined that it would be just enough for herself so she started her trek back towards the orc encampment. with in a short walk she could make out a campfire in the distance and she could clearly hear the talk of men, not orcs, men. It didn't surprise her that they were keeping careful watch over the orc encampments. Their fragile alliance was not built from trust after all.
The endorans hated them, as they should. The orcs raided their travelers with little regard to who and what they were. She began to pick her way around the encampment, giving it a wide breath so as not to be seen. But she didn’t wish to go back to the orc encampment either, with things as quite as they have been she was fearful they would try to corner her so she found a secluded spot in the woods, near a fallen tree and made a small fire in its shelter before she went about skinning the rabbit.
These woods were noisy compared to the evening in mordor, the sounds of night creatures were intriguing and a strange sort of comforting from the eerie quiet of mordor at night. The game here tasted much better to, she thought as she tore into rabbit. If they survived all this, perhaps she’d finely leave Mordor behind when he tribe returned, and seek to see more of this outside world.
