Tristan looked at Jade for a moment and saw her shivering, and took his blanket from the bed and put it over her, and stroked and plucked her from her face and stared at her for a moment.

"Thank you..." she murmured, half asleep. She wanted to talk to him about what had happened, but she knew it could wait till morning. She was soon asleep.
Tristan woke up early the next morning, standing by a bowl of cold water, washing his face, wearing only his pants.

Jade groaned as she woke up, sitting up and opening her eyes to find Tristan shirtless. Quickly averting her eyes, she unintentionally coughed, allerting him of her awakeness. "Ummm... sorry..." She muttered, her cheeks turning red. All she wanted to do was start walking again. She didn't like it one bit here. The people were honestly freaking her out a bit.
Tristan looked at her and dried his face "The water is still fresh, and there is a towel to wash your face" he said and walked over to her and took his shirt off the chair and put it on "Did you sleep well ? "

"Thank you. Yes, I slept ok. How did you sleep?" She got up and walked over to the water basin, starting to wash her face. "Listen... we have some things to talk about as we walk to the next city..."
Tristan looked at her "We are stuck here for a while, the storm has gotten worse at night and it will stay this way, people say we can just stay here until it is safe to go feather again"

"Are you sure it's a good idea to do that? I mean, if they find out..." she didn't finish the sentance, realizing someone could be listening in on them.
"If they find out, there are two things they can do ... kill me, or hold me captive," he said, leaning against the wall. "The weather is too wild to walk around, we'll have to stay."

Sighing, she walked over to her cot and sat down. "I don't like it here at all... the older woman said that..." she took a deep breath. "I'm not listening to rumors because I'm asking you about it. Is it true that you slept with someone out of wedlock and then kicked them out?"
