"I think it's-" He stopped himself before he said something disrespectful. "...overwhelming, to say the least," he murmured.
She touch his cheek “be honest please. I want your full thoughts”
He looked at her, hesitating for a moment. "...I think it's bullshit," he said softly. "They knew this all along, and they say threats to your life kept them from sending a rescue party to save you... but your life was never safe, let alone pleasant, in there. They should have done more to keep them from hurting you like this."
She nods and she stroke his cheek “I know. I agree. It horrible. I wish they done more. There were times I wanted to die. Those few times you came to check on me ad I would be in the bathroom. I held a razor to my wrists to make myself bleed out. I was going to. “ she whisper “you saved me. I wish they had saved me sooner. I just don’t know if their feelings about caring fr me and loving me are true”
Vincent bit down hard on his lips and pulled her into a tight hug. He held her for a couple of moments before taking a shaking breath. "...I'll never forgive anyone who had a part in making you feel that way," he said softly. "You didn't deserve any of this. I should have figured this out a long time ago. I never would have let this go on for so long if I'd known, I swear," he murmured.
