The one who will save you, the one who will stick by you, the one that will never back down,
or maybe the one that finally brings you to your knees and makes you realize what kind of person you are.
o/ I vote we "entrust the wellbeing" of the buggy passenger to someone friendly in the Kalee system to garner some good will, have a meal to celebrate, grab a few black market parts and onward to adventure! While we're being squishy and helping those who can kill us readily, we might as well get a little kickback, right, Captain? Are the Feds going to give the same rates or is this going to be some 'greater good' business?
Imagine the seed exchange, Ayo. Imagine the medical upgrades, Sirc. Also black market karaoke is best karaoke for the vocally-inclined amongst us, amirite? All for the low cost of introducing Barbara MurderHornet to the right people... Maybe if she's worth it and links up with the right people in Kalee it'll even open doors for us. If the referral is enough maybe we could even afford a deposit on a neural upgrade for our pilot.
[Definitely not saying this because an entire system seems like it would have better snacks than a Fed outpost. That would be crazy, right? Definitely can't be the reason. ]
But... If we really are intending to be honourable and take her to the Feds - sigh - then I suppose the outpost does make more sense. I wouldn't mind a time jump, but as it sounds like majority may prefer social interaction onboard first that's fine with me also. It's too bad we didn't have the time to find a way to salveage some of the abandoned ship to trade at the yard on the outpost.
Hmm, black market karaoke...
PM me for novelised versions of any of my RPs, or ones that I have participated in. Set by the awesome Karma.
Yes, the lyrics are almost always badly translated, but you'll never hear a better arrangement of Wanderwell or Sweet Carol Limes!
