Javan just chuckled as she joked around about needing a shower and then he collected his things and took an extra towel to place it in the bathroom for her. Soon he got undressed and had his wings appear for a bit while he showered. Once finished he dried off and got dressed into a loose shirt and some pants before leaving the bathroom while drying his hair still.
She was still taking her nap when he got out of the shower. She was having a nightmare again, but she wasn't waking up. She just kept on moving around. She almost fell off the couch. She was sweating, she wanted to get up. She felt like she was trapped and she needed to get out.
Javan walked over to the living room, making sure to hide his wings again while going there. He soon saw Tessa sleeping but noticed she seemed to be having another nightmare so slowly went over and placed his hand on her shoulder gently tugging it as he said: "Tessa, wake up, you are okay." He looked at her worried as this did seem like a rather normal thing for her, that wasn't anything normal but couldn't be helped either.
She felt his touch but still couldn't wake up. She knew he was there so she said: "J-Javan?" but continued to stay in her sleep. She was still fighting to get up but something kept pushing her back into her deep sleep. She couldn't see what it was but all she saw was some blood red eyes and sharp teeth. Everything else was dark.
Javan started frowning more, she seemed to be awake of his presence yet couldn't wake up. He then heard a noise outside and his eyes started to glow slightly to see what it might be. A higher class demon, of course, was most likely also responsible for Tessa's inability to wake up from a nightmare. He stood up and walked over to the source of the noise before changing into his angelic appearance, freeing his wings and changing his clothes into that more suited to fight while it all mainly glowed white with small tints of gold. He summoned his sword then used his power to open the door where he laid eyes on the large beast. The storm had arrived and lightning started flashing closer, the rain started pouring down but he couldn't stop now. He soon slightly took flight off the ground only enough to reach the height of the larger beast. "Didn't think your class would come this close, how troublesome." He then launched his attack against the demon that screeched out and tried to hit Javan with its long blood dripping claws.
She kept fighting it. It was still hard to wake up but she heard the door open then a screech. Her eyes flew wide open. She was frozen in fear. She didn't know what to do. She got up and hid by the door but looked outside. She could not believe her eyes. She saw Javan but it wasn't the Javan she knew. The Javan she knew was human and didn't have wings. She was speechless and scared. She also saw the Thing he was fighting. Her eyes still wide she went to the kitchen and got a drink, she then went back to the couch and kept looking at the blank screen that was the TV. Her eyes were wide open. She downed her water and went to jump in the shower. She needed to think plus she was sweating like a dog. She got her clothes and turned on the shower, she got undressed and hopped in.
Tessa's Thoughts:
This couldn't be happening. He looked like an angel. He WAS an angel. The wings even said it. What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to act like she saw nothing? She had no idea what to do. She shouldn't be scared of him, she had no reason to be scared of him. He was nothing but nice to her and helped her when that thing attacked her. The stone he gave had to be something else.
Javan sliced his sword at the demon and then dodged a coming attack, he wasn't doing the damage he wanted to which classified the demon as even higher then is estimations. Soon he decided to start using his magic so he lets go of the sword which now followed his command. Soon sending it flying at the chest of the demon with a flash of light, it solidly when through the beast before returning to Javan. He watched as the dark creature crumbled up into nothing before he lands and narrowed his eyes. This wasn't good, Tessa's wounds seem to had started attracting bigger demons, this was just one of most likely more to start appearing. He sighs softly then had his sword go away before entering the house again and closing the door, changing back to the normal clothes of before and making his wings disappear, he was now wet due to the rain from earlier. He then went over to the couch to check on Tessa only to see she wasn't there anymore, he heard the running shower and realized she was awake. How much did she see? The loud screeching of the demon had to draw some attention, she couldn't have just not checked. He sighs a little and decided to wait for her to come out of the shower while drying his hair again and changing into dry clothes before just sitting on the couch.
Surprisingly she heard Javan come through the door. She had calmed down a bit and was back to breathing to normal. She sat in the shower a little longer then turned off the water. She dried up and put her clothes on. She blow dried her hair brushed it and put it up in a ponytail. She walked out of the bathroom. She swore to herself that she would not say anything unless he asked and then even then she would most likely lie about it say she didn't see anything. At this point in time she didn't know what to say or do.
Javan was unsure if he should ask her about it, but he knew that it was also something he should know. He soon heard the shower turn off so just leans back a bit and took a deep breath before waiting for her to finish. Once she came out of the bathroom he glanced back and said: "Are you alright? I couldn't quite wake you earlier." He stood up and then glanced at the window watching the lighting creep closer with the storm clouds. He looked back at her and asked: "Did you happen to pass the front door before going to the shower?"
When she saw Javan she froze. "Yeah no I-I'm alright. It was a really bad nightmare that's all" When she heard him question about the front door she couldn't answer. "I uhhh..." She nodded her head. She knew he wasn't going to harm her but has everything he said to her been a lie or what.
