She shook her head and got up. "I'm going to go for a run." She said quietly. She went and grabbed a water bottle and sighed. She was internally screaming. She knew they shouldn't and couldn't be together and it hurt her deeply. She felt like nothing was right. They should have never met, she would have never felt like this. She went to the room she had stayed in and screamed into a pillow. She then left the house to start walking.
Javan watched her get up before talking about taking a run. He sighs softly knowing that she was upset about this. He watched her leave and then just stood up slowly and made his way back to his bed where he just sat down and buried his face into his hands. He couldn't help but wish to remain next to her, yet after what happened he wondered if she would even want to remain friends. He heard her leaving the house and just laid down on the bed and groaned.
She knew she shouldn't cry about what happened but she just started silently weeping. She started to run so hopefully no one would notice. She ran a couple blocks and took a break. She sat down and drank some water. She was now sweating. When she said run, she meant run she wasn't jogging. It made her feel slightly better. Her feelings for him were enormous but he can't feel the same way or act the same way. She sighed and started running back. It had been an hour or so before she got back to the house drenched in sweat and water. She had used some water to cool herself down, she ignored the pain she was feeling from the run and she ignored the slight lightheadedness she had.
Javan just remained at the house, slowly starting to heal his wounds that would still take a few days before fully being fine again. Soon another angel had shown up at the door, usually when one got badly wounded another would come over to check on them. Javan allowed him in and the two discussed the events that took place with the demon, this would help others be on guard of higher-up demons that might be taking on human forms. Javan heard the door open again and knew Tessa had returned, he stood up and walked over then looked at her saying: "Everything okay Tessa?" The other angel just watched the two before he himself said goodbye acting like a work partner of Javan before he left. Which technically he was anyway. Javan just remained looking at her worried about pretty much everything.
"Y-Yeah I am fine." She sighed. "I should probably take a shower..." She wanted to stay away for a bit but she knew she could not leave his house or anything because it was unsafe for her. She looked at Javan with sad eyes and just went to get a dress and some other clothing. She also grabbed a towel.
Javan looked at her and gave a nod saying: "Yes, go take that shower and relax, I'll make us something to eat." He watched her and noticed her sad glance, he sighs softly and went to the kitchen while he started making some food for them still just mainly thinking about her and their current relationship. She didn't seem all too close all of the sudden either, he didn't like that but not could he lie to her earlier. Angels and mortals simply never really formed a relationship beyond friendship, but he desired more with Tessa then just friendship.
"Okay..." She went into the bathroom and started the shower. She stayed in the shower for awhile she washed up using her lavender soap that she had. She still felt dizzy. She sighed. She didn't know how to get rid of that feeling. She felt like it was the running and the current situation. She didn't like it. She then turned off the shower, she dried up and got dressed. She looked in the mirror and brushed her hair. She then left to the kitchen table and sat down. She put her head down from how bad she was feeling closed her eyes.
Javan continued cooking the meal and then turned his attention back to her after she returned. He noticed her placing her head down and looked at her rather worried while asking: "Is everything okay Tessa?" Placing the food in the oven before walking over to her and sitting down while he said: "I can get you something to drink or snack on while we wait for the food."
"I am fine. But yes please get me a drink." She sighed. She needed to clean the sheets still. They were still bloody. She would do it after they ate. She wanted to lay down and sleep, to never wake up again but she couldn't do that. She knew she couldn't do that. She just felt kind of depressed.
Javan looked at her still worried and then sighs not pushing the topic any further. He got her something to drink and placed it down next to her, then gently placed his hand on her back a bit while he said: "Get some rest after this, I'll take care of the other things." After that he returned to the oven to check on the food.
