    @Enigma; thanks for explaining about tagging a forum member here. I have used that one time occasion posting in the thread already in response after the one post after my previous one. It seems, I think, that maybe a two post inbetween rule might not work the best for this roleplaying where members wait to see what other members roleplaying in the thread will have characters do.

    I'm a twenty year DnD 3.5e vet.

    Got like a year experience in DnD 5e

    I wouldn't mind making a game, or letting the party tell me what to create, and cooking something up.

    Let me know if your interested.

    I would totally be interested.
    I have experience in Pathfinder (Paizo's 3.5), and D&D 5e.
    Some games tend to die out quick here because people get so busy and forget. Kinda sad.

    I tries to start a game where the players sorta had an SAO, and got sucked into the game and turned into their characters buy the DM. Sadly, never got past a few rounds of posts. Wouldn't mind doing that again.

    And there was another game I tries doing before that, one I called Trials of the Forsaken.
    The whole idea that the party has been accused and convicted of some horrible crime (truly or falsely) and have been sent underground to brave and survive the horrors of the underground tunnels and buried abandoned cities. Sorta an underground survival. Was going to put sorta penal colonies down there.
    The idea was the party may be able to find a way out at later levels. But the first 5-10 levels would be them just trying to survive and exploring the place. Or the whole campaign could be set down there.
    Stark, the name given to my ancestor for a feat of bravery. It means Strength, or Strong.
    The motto give: fortiorum fortia facta (made stronger and braver)

    I say, let us all be fortiorum fortia facta.

    Sounds like a solid campaign plan.

    I see a ton of creativity and possibility in that setting, it would definitely be easy to make something like that.

    Seeing as I don't need to make maps, and generate sheets, this would be quick.

    I'm going to brainstorm about it.

    When you find people you want to play with, I'll be ready.
    If you want to play alone without anyone else, let me know, and we can start doing that.

    Cool idea, would love to see it played out.

    Which one?
    SAO (trapped in game by DM)? Or TF (accused and stuck in subterranean caves and ruins)?

    Either way, I know people who might like to play, but I'm perfectly fine with a 1x1. I'm fine if people want to join later, though.
    And I'm perfectly fine if you don't want to use any system and just go free form. But I'll be cool if you wanna use Pathfinder or 5e.

    Another thing I like to do is put ancient (advanced) tech in my games. Just stuff they can find.
    Sorta like a civilization reset.

    I'm going to do both, I got a amazing idea how that would work out.

    I personally think more players is fun.

    I don't mind doing it in either 3.5e, 5e, RP, RP with dice rolls.
    Let me know beforehand, and I can translate my idea into any of those systems.
    I'm just totally unfamiliar with pathfinder.

    I already have a sort of ancient tech at the start, and more on the (very) long run, so I don't think your dissapointment!

    Lemme know when we start (I can play anytime.) Then I can draw maps as we play.

    I was in Highland Sniper's Trials of the Forsaken as a half-drow spellthief (Pathfinder). If you're looking for a 5e character sheet, I suggest using https://www.myth-weavers.com/ for a hosting site and just link to them in the OOC here, it's free to join. (See my current character sheet here for another game)

    The forum has a built-in dice roller that can be used in the forums.

    [dice=1-5]1-30[/dice]

    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]

    Will these be first level characters or are we starting higher with the possibility of magic gear?

    - - - Updated - - -

    And the warning is the dice roller doesn't work the first time it's posted in a new thread.

    If we are using 5e, we will be level 3 at the beginning at it's lowest, unless you want to be lower.

    Starting wealth is usually 300 GP (plus whatever's left from creation) and 2 common magic items if we're starting at third.

    Trying the dice roller again.

    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]
    [dice=3]6[/dice]

    ...and it's not working. Whee.

    Always a live dice roller to find, I have little doubt on that.

    And I'm fine with the parameters you just gave.
