    Default Let's get Criminal

So, currently I'm really into crime-themed
role-plays. Those are my favourite right now
and ones that I most easily accept as plots.
Doesn't mean I'll reject everything else though.
Feel free to suggest other plots to me!

I don't know why, but I've been stuck on this
one plot with different variants. Something along
    the lines of:

M/oc is the child of a mafia man and y/oc is a
person of the law involved in the case of
bringing down the said criminal organisation.

That's the short of it. A lot can happen. And also,
there are variants for each character.
    For m/oc:

1.] M/oc is involved in the works of his father
and is completely aware of what's going on.
He actively takes part in the 'missions' of
    the criminal organisation, but considers
himself to be more of a person that works
outside the hq and alone - as someone
who takes care of people who are in debt
    to his father and alike.

2.] M/oc is seldom aware of his father's works. He knows it's illegal, but really is disinterested and doesn't really have a wish to know more. He gets money from his father and that's enough for him to not push his nose into it and to not tell anyone about it. For now, at least..

3.] M/oc is not at all aware of what his father does. Hebelieves that the money comes from his parent working in a big oil company or something and so he overall comes across very oblivious to it. Albeit, since the oc I use for these plots is actuallyan observant and not ignorant person, he would probably just have to be off medication for themost part - which entails hallucinations and
    unstable behaviour to a degree.

    For y/oc:

1.] Y/oc is someone already experienced in their line of work so they are given the case of this organisation. They are entrusted with gauging out information about itand to find a way to take the whole thing down since it has ties everywhere an distributes all kinds of illegal things.
[Compatible with all variants of m/oc]

2.] Y/oc is someone new to their job. Eager to prove themselves because of one thing or another, they decide to take the hard case to show everyone their worth. Or maybe they're just ambitious and take the case to progress through the ranks quicker. Whatever their main motive, taking down a big organisation is bound to get them recognised. Y/oc could have taken the case straight from their superior or they maybe decided to work on it in secret as their own side thing.
[Compatible with all variants of m/oc]

3.] Y/oc is a citizen that has/doesn't have previous contact with criminal things. They're friends with or become close with m/oc and notice things.. out of place, let's say. The dots gets connected easily and the two, being curious
or whatever, decide to look into m/oc's father more to see what his work really is about. It's like dangerous adventure.
[Compatible with variant 3 and 2 from m/oc]

I guess that would be it concerning that plot. I really like it right now, so, if you're interested, that's great! Just tell me which variant of it speaks to you, lmao. A few other things would be prompts that can beexpanded on, I guess.

1.] Our OCs live together in a shitty apartment and are petty thieves just to have enough to pay
for the basic things. Maybe they get involved
with bigger things they didn't ask for and alike.

2.] Both our OCs are criminals who work alone
(or in a smaller group/gang, always your call for
y/oc). They can be bigger/known criminals or
    someone unknown to the police.
〢They could meet while they're both running
from the cops and realise they must work
    together to get away.
〢Or maybe they find themselves trying to rob the same establishment.
〢If they're both members of some gangs, maybe one confronts the other about having to stop selling merchandise to their consumers and alike.
〢From there, we just hope they have some
sort of chemistry to push the plot onward.
I know I didn't really give out that many ideas,
but there's some. If someone is willing to do the
first plot I mentioned with me, that'd be amazing!
Everything here can be expanded on!
I'm open to hearing your ideas and finding a way
to incorporate them into the plot.

    AND THEN

    Everyone has some rules, requirements
or whatever you wanna call them when
it comes to role-playing, so I'll have some
listed in this tab as well. Maybe it helps tell
    how I write and whatnot.

1.] I write in third person and past tense.
I expect you to do the same. ︳
〢Along with that, I'd like to mention that I
don't want text talk within the rp [like: idk, rn...etc..]. Exception is if the characters within the rp are texting.
〢The marks I use in the role-play are quotation marks [""] for speaking, italics andor ' ' for thinking.

2.] No characters that are too good at everything
or suck at everything. Neither is fun. ︳
〢A character being insecure in things they do
is different, that's alright that's normal. But
a character that is a bummer every step of
the way or a character that knows how to
solve every problem as soon as they see it
    are not really wanted.
〢That does not mean y/oc can't have a
    mental disorder or anything else.
    〢I'm including god-modding and metaing
or whatever you call it here. Just don't control
    m/oc and don't give y/oc knowledge
they had no way of obtaining. The things
you might know about m/oc outside the rp
is not necessarily something y/oc knows.

    3.] Fairly frequent replies.
    Multiple paragraphs (around 400+ words)
    Decent grammar
    Long-term ︳
〢I usually reply once a day, but if I really
didn't have the time I reply every two/three
days. If I know I won't be able to reply for a
while, I will inform you and I expect the same
thing from you. At least one reply a week (or a
notice about not replying, but still being
interested in the rp). If I got nothing, I will
message you after a few days of no replies to
see if you're still interested. Feel free to pester
    me about replies.
〢I usually reach the 400-500 radius of words per
reply, but it might go higher or lower depending
on the situation. I don't want to get one-liners in
return, but I don't expect mirroring my reply length either.
〢Grammar is important. If I can't understand what's written, I can't reply. I'm not a native English speakerso I don't expect flawless grammar. As long as I can understand it, it's good.
〢I prefer my role-plays to be long-term.

    4.] Mature themes ︳
〢Things like violence and dark themes
are my thing. I prefer plots with criminal aspects,
and crime most of the time isn't that peaceful.
That doesn't mean the whole rp will be just
    explosions and guns.
〢If you don't like seeing something particular
in a rp, please point it out to me before we start
so that I steer clear of it!

    4.] Realistic Ocs ︳
    〢Things like werewolves and vampires
never were my thing. I prefer realistic
    human characters. Sorry, not sorry.
〢When it comes to fantasy, I am really
picky with plots, but if I agree on one
then I am okay with characters having
certain powers (but not being op).
〢 And, just because it seems important
to a lot of people, I don't use face claims.
I don't require you to use face claims. I'm
    okay with just description alone.

    5.] Communication ︳
    〢It's fairly important to communicate.
If you don't like where the rp is going
or are lost on where to go from some
point, speak to me and we can work
    something out.
〢I do prefer to make a separate chat
for rp and for just talking. I don't mind
just talking to my partner. Feel free to
send ideas my way, to ask for a new
rp, to send me things that remind you
of our OCs or even to just talk abut your
    day.

That's about it for the rules. Feel free to ask about
anything else below in the thread. If you're interested to rp, then please message me and we're gonna work something out!

I could have fun with a criminal RP, just a few questions.

How do you feel about futuristic/cyberpunk ideas?

    Romance thoughts?

Instead of a cop/robber angle, what about a Mercenary hired to take down the robber?

    Hello!

I'm not really into futuristic themes. I stick to modern settings.

Romance is fine by me. If the OCs clicked, they did. Though, I won't force romance between two characters that obviously can't get along in that sort of way.

That's okay with me. With what I have in plan for m/oc,that could work. Maybe it could work for both roles, but m/oc is otherwise a very effective and straight-to-the-point person, so I don't think he'd fail a mercenary job [unless he's just downright having some problems that would prevent him from doing a good job]
And someone being hired to take him down wouldn't be anything off the table. He's a very unlikeable criminal seeing that his main thing is just snitching people out.
So, you can freely choose the role you want out of those two.

I am coming back from a break. I write Cop/Agent/Assassin characters frequently and am interested in the plot lines. Had one thought somewhat floating around for my character. (stalk some of my stories, I usually write Asian female characters that have strong personalities though write male characters that fit the story line).

I was thinking of a character that is a small business owner (jewelry store or similar) and your character happens in. By appearance she is sweet and known to be kind to those who visit her shop (she would be mysterious when inquired about her back ground). Either she or your character take interest when you come in (maybe hiding from rival, ducking in to ditch a police tail, some other reason for coming in).

As time passes, she gets curious about the background she is given as his characteristics give her reason to dig a bit. Her nature (perhaps her hidden past (initial thoughts *a reporter that left after a disastrous story result*, *a member of Special Ops that walked away after a mission that went south now trying to reinvent herself as someone nice* *a lawyer that had done one too many questionable things during her career before walking away*). Any persona, she would be drawn to look into inconsistencies in who she thinks she knows.

For you, her background she portrays start to show a dark side (perhaps watching from a distance in a club as a rough looking guy is persisting on being her date, she sweetly declines, just before your enforcer is sent to 'save the poor girl', she throat punches the guy with her clutch leaving him on the floor while casually leaving the club) or just casts some mystery about her.

This does seem like an awesome mysterious crime story.

    Okay,
So the basics of it are:

Y/oc owns a small shop. M/oc goes inside to hide from someone or whatever. They speak to each other and obviously get into a conversation and they hit it off rather pleasantly. They become friends or merely acquaintances [or they just run into each other everywhere somehow] and from there find out things about each other. Maybe a reason for them to stick together or soemthing pops up.

Did I get it right? If so, I like it! You can message me and we can work out the story and then start the roleplay

Ok good to know, sadly things might be taking off in my RL soon, so might not have time for a new RP now. But thanks for listening to my thoughts.

You'll have more than enough fun with the Squirrel father though so no loss anywhere. lol
