Roleplay Pentathlon Poll: Five new roleplays to choose from!
Alrighty then! After exploring the site awhile and testing things out around work, I finally finished setting up the first few Roleplays! I've narrowed down these ones from all the other stories because I feel these are a good mixture of things. Original and Fandom worlds. Newly established and Long developed stories. A diverse mixture of genre's and characters to select from. I am really excited to see what peaks everyone's interest and how the community wants to try out these selections!
I am comfortable with running group RPs, and it should be easier since this does not require dice and manuals like a lot of group games. Im also happy to do 1x1 RPs with anyone because... well that is how all of these worlds developed! If you have questions about writing style, making characters, or deeper world details please feel free to ask!

Across the face of Tyria the elder dragons awakened. Larger than a nation, old as the world itself, and unyielding as time, they are the great consuming power of the end times. Factions from every corner of the map converged together to form The Pact. A united force to fight back and save the world from being devoured. Guilds from every land, and even ones far overseas in unknown realms rose up to slay the elders and their dragon armies. After decades of warring, the elder dragons were finally laid back to rest once and for all. Now as The Pact disbands and the guilds scatter, life returns to its normal chaotic state.
One such guild, the Order of the Green Flame, beings the long journey home. In the grand empire of Rokugan, a new dynasty is being born. The new empress takes the Emerald throne and holds a celebratory tournament to appoint her new champions after the loss of her father. To foster an age of progress and enlightenment, she accepts old enemies and scattered outcasts into the empire to form new clans that join the ranks of the old. Now ten great clans send forth champions who embody the ideals of their people. With champions earning their position in the new imperial court, the empires future shines bright as the sun.
Light however casts shadows. The brighter the light, the deeper the shadows, and in this dawning new dynasty, the shadows are long and reaching. From the Shadowlands pushed outside Rokugans borders, the corrupting force known as Taint spreads virulently. Oni awaken sensing tension and uncertainty in the heart of the empire. Rebels rise up opposing changes to the old order, and the empress must be protected. The champions have been tasked with facing challenges and perils from all sides in the name of the empire. Legend has it that the only thing that can stop the looming chaos are the five rings. Are they just legend and philosophy? or could the rumors be true that the hand of Amaterasu descends upon the world with five rings of ultimate power on her fingers?

For as long as it has been settled, Dreambrooke has been a world class college community and tourist destination. It has attracted an ever growing populace of oddities, curiosities, and fascinating mysteries. What is kept under wraps however is its endless death rates ranging from accidents, to suicides, to unsolved murders. This means the city is always attracting new residents from all over the world to move in and fresh lively students to attend its world famous college. Although authorities and the general public are somehow largely oblivious or in denial of the town's history, There have long existed local myths and legends that overshadow the fate of those who dwell within.
In recent history however, those clever college kids are wising up to the dire living conditions of life on campus. The reports of monster sightings, supernatural incidents, and residents with mysterious pasts cannot all be covered up. The sorority of TauElpisTheta was founded to protect the youth which seemed most prone to falling prey to the dark forces drawn to the city. The local students soon found members among the campus who possessed unusual abilities and skills or knowledge and training that could be used to fight back against whatever next terrorized the college. A new semester has begun, a new class has signed up for another year on campus, and a new dark cloud closes in, turning Dreambrooke into a nightmare!

Throughout history, supernatural forces have influenced Earth's inhabitants. Birthing and changing the species known as humans on an individual level. By the 1900's these super humans had largely stepped out of myth and into the spotlight. Some used their power to help the world, while others used it to challenge the world. This was known as the Heroic age. Events near the end of the 1900's caused mass devastation and isolated forces had to combine to stop the calamity. This organized force of protection became known as the Supernatural League for Justice. Its goal is to put an end to the anarchy of individual super humans clashing. No more heroes, no more villains. There are now only Peacekeepers which represent the SLJ and Earth's interest, and Vigilantes who refuse to conform or actively wish to destroy Earth's natural state of existence.
Based out of the floating city of Sanctum high above rebuilt Horizon city in North America, the SLJ departments for Magic, Religion, and Science monitor and control all aspects of reality around Earth independent of national governments. Super humans from all over flock to this city set aside from the world as a place of sanctuary, security, and recruitment. Many humans rely on the SLJ for protection, while many others object to "being ruled" by a society of aliens, mutants, and other strange beings. While detecting and facing threats from outer space, other dimensions, and even from Earth's own inhabitants, the members of the league must struggle with their greatest challenge of all; trying to live the normal life that was denied to them.

The Zero-G Experience

----------World description----------
Zonia... means "Last Zone" in our tongue. When the world was just born all was dark, until Father Sun and Mother Moon came and shed light upon it. Life flourished in the light and they were joyous. But they disagreed with what to do with the world. Father Sun wanted to rule it, while Mother Moon wanted to nourish it. They argued and fought, until Father Sun lost his temper, throwing Mother Moon down upon the world. Her fall destroyed all life across the world, except the zone she landed upon, protected by the magic that shielded her fall.
Looking upon the ruined world, Father Sun fled ashamed of what he had done, always traveling around the world apart from Mother Moon. She looked upon the last zone, still alive around where she fell. Vowing to protect this last place of life, she offered her magic to the young Zonians in it. The women saw her pain and sorrow, and accepted it. The men saw the destruction and anger that wrought this fate and fled from her. Mother Moon took Zonia and separated it from the broken world, keeping it to herself and empowering her daughters to protect them from the dangers that lurk all around.
This is the legend of Zonia. A place once apart of Earth at the dawn of time. Throughout history, rifts have opened to this fabled place. Civilizations from all over the world have explored and invaded Zonia, finding a primeval continent with prehistoric beasts still alive, tribes of super powered women, and other wonders too numerous to list. The five tribes of Zonians have raised up and separated from each other, forging identities around the outside cultures that influenced them, the incredible creatures they bond with, and the distinct magics they are born with. With outsiders from the savagelands invading, disasters and monsters roaming about, and inter-tribal warfare always breaking out, what legends will be created or discovered next?
