She was running in the streets with police sirens blaring and people screaming. The city she was in was on fire and burning wildly. She remembered it was dark with only orange as her light. She was covered in both blood and smoke. Wearing only a tanktop and sweats. She had no shoes but was careful where she stepped. She ran with the others in one direction and away from what was happening behind her. The sounds of growls and screams put the fear in her heart. Gun shots were heard in close distance. Police officers and Soldiers were firing at whatever was chasing her.

She was out of breath, she was tired. She still kept pushing and moved past the others. Her feet were hurting from the concrete and felt something pierced her skin. She felt the blood on her bare feet. She started to felt wear down and her foot hit something and tripped to the concrete. She groaned and felt her head hit the ground first. There was a cut above her left eyebrow and blood poured down. She moaned for a moment because of the pain and then she looked to where she tripped. It was a dead body but with a bullet to the head. She gasped and pulled herself together and crawled away from the body. Then she sees them. A group of unnatural humans moving in her direction. Groaning and moaning. Covered in blood, missing arms and legs, organs were pulled out and clothes ripped apart. Her eyes widened and her lips trembled. She lets out a scream slowly with tears in her eyes. They drew closer to her and ready to eat her alive.

She woke up in her tent with a small gasp. She felt her heart pounding in her chest and her lungs gasped for breath. She looked around her tent and sees the sunlight shining through the fabric. She sighs in relief and slowly gets up and unzips her sleeping bag. She regretted it at first since the first thing she felt was the cold, but her nose filled with the scent of fresh coffee. She groans while moving around to dress herself in warmer clothing. Minutes passed as she finally steps out of her tent with a jacket and dressed. She looked around and noticed a few members of her community were around a camp fire with a coffee pot next to it. She joins them with a smile on her face and grabs a empty cup and pours herself some. She held the cup in both hands and sits on the log. She takes a small sip and sighs softly. "So what's the plan?" She asked looking around.
