The following morning, as they were leaving Daisy returned to the room to the condition it was in when they arrived sans the rats. Though Daisy was sure they would return soon enough with all the holes in the walls.

Julie went to an ATM and headed back to the bar she liked so much. Daisy also stopped by an ATM. She then changed her clothes into something more formal.



Daisy then went to a nice restaurant. One where they turn away anyone not dressed formally.

After eating breakfast she stopped by the ATM again then went to the bar to catch up with Julie and see if the people she paid came back with info on the girl.

After their adventurous beginning to the day, Daisy and Julie found the Scarlett bar in what was commonly considered the closing hours for most overnight drinking places. The crimson haired barkeeper was wiping down the tables as the early birds swapped places with the all nighters. Looking over her shoulder as she bent well over the tables as she cleaned them, the redhead smirked as she spun around and sat on the table with her legs crossed.

Morning ladies... I have good news for you, no sign of the Hissers today... they are definitely on to something good to be diving this deep into the city. Why the fancy attire? Is there something you want to be drinking too?

The barkeeper asked tilting her head admiring Daisy as the larger woman came far nicer dressed than Scarlett's average patron. The idea of popping some expensive wine sounded like a fun way to start the day until some of her regulars arrived.

Tepoz's right eyebrow shot up in an arch as he regarded his host. Was he trying to establish a debt?

"Depends on the venue," he smiled slightly. "Got to talk to the commercial real-estate people first."

Brandi and Bud were staring out the window at the sights below, only Jin watched the exchange between the two males with bored concern.

Setting aside the small cup once it had put up its brief attempt at satiating the giant man, Taurius leaned back on the couch and looked about the windows to see what kinds of views this suite gave compared to his. The pool outside was a remarkably popular attraction despite the ocean being just on the other side of the neighborhood. At least here a view of the sunset could be enjoyed.

Fair enough mate. It's getting late though, and as its your first night warming the nest, I'll be headed out to find some place to party. Got the room on the opposite building if ya need any kibble!

“I have a feeling this won’t be turning out well. If the underground has to be dived deep into. We are going to be fighting another supervillain. I hate them. Give me terrorists or gang war any day. Hell, an alien invasion is preferable. Supervillains are just the worst.” Julie raised an eyebrow at the alien invasion. “Before you came to the city. I forget what the media called them. They spoke in a tonal modulation with a tiered data dump. Basically Groot from those Marvel Comics. At least that is what the eggheads told me. As for the fancy dress, I went to a proper restaurant one that has waiters and has a dress code.” Daisy then changed her clothes.



“Teetotaler, I don’t drink alcohol ever.” Julie started to ask for something to drink. “Whatever Jules orders make it the virgin kind. I am not in the mood for her drunken paranoia. Plus it is way too early in the day for alcohol.” Julie shoved her tongue out at Daisy. “Party pooper. I’ll have a virgin…….umm.” Julie put her right index finger to her chin. Her eyes drifted to the gorgeous bartender sprawled out on the table. Her mind drifted towards lewd thoughts. She then realized she was taking a while to answer. She said the first thing that came to mind. “Sex on the beach!” She wasn’t quite sure what she said, she hoped she said something that was actually an alcoholic drink and not just her fantasies.

The redhead sat on the edge of the table listening patiently with an expression that was only missing a cats tail twirling in anticipation. Once Julie had decided on her choice of words carefully and Daisy had changed her garments, the bartender got up and smiled quite happy with the results.

What a lovely choice of attire. You must show me how to do that some time, I only know how to make my clothes disappear... And one soon-to-be-nonvirgin drink coming up!

The redhead said trotting off in the most suspicious thing any server could ever wear. Her heels clicked on the floor around the bar as the doors squeaked open behind them and the intrusive daylight twas immediately blocked out by a rumbling hulk of a figure. What few highlights could be seen around lit up the man like an angel as he squinted humbly around for Scarlett.

Julie saw the new arrival. "If you are going to coplay the Hulk you need to paint your skin green and shave off the pornstache."

Daisy laughed at Julie's comment. "Come on Jules can't you see he's trying to cosplay as Mr. Clean the pornstar?"

Julie looked him over. "I can see that. So what you in here for big guy? Please let it be you are scouting for locations for a porn shoot. Maybe scouting for some stars?"

Daisy doubled over laughing. "They definately wouldn't be scouting you for in front of the camera work. Behind the camera maybe."

((The movers a coming tomorrow so I apologize if I cannot respond frequently over the next couple days.))

Taking a step towards the bar, the large man paused and used a visually impressive amount of muscles to twist his body towards the pair of strange ladies making cracks. His mustache curls twitched as he reached up for one of the dangling charms on his board necklace collection and rubbed his fingers over it. Daisy watched an effect almost identical to hers overtake him as his body changed into gold matching the charm.

I dono what a "hulk" all is, but I'm too golden to waste time in films! 'Ere now... I am scouting though. Lookin for a pretty little thing sort of like you two whats late for her work! You seen any brunettes around with glowing hands? Wears a jacket and a lot of bright pink? No? ...Ah well, Ill ask Scarlett!

He mumbled through his mustache in a deep barrel tone while looking the ladies up and down. His body melted back into skin when he noticed Scarlett catching him showing off for tourists again. The redhead brought over the drinks and winked at Daisy before arching her brow accusingly at him.

You know, for someone who says girl's aren't your type... you seem to enjoy flexing a lot for them Alfred! Leave my patron to her barely virgin drink and tell me whats brought you down from the big gym in the heavens...

Lookin for me boss, and ran into these giggly laughing gulls instead. Its a sad day when a man has to make sure his boss does there job on time!

Daisy had become suspicious of the Hulk-like guy. "Why're you looking for a brunette lady with glowing hands who apparently loves pink?"

Julie sniffed her drink. She could smell the alcohol. "If your boss doesn't care about the job. I don't think you should either. Speaking as a boss myself, albeit one with no employees and with loose deadlines."

Alfred scoffed at Scarlett's accusations and seemed to flex just by moving as he turned his bulging body towards the redhead. Judging by the suspicion in his beady eyes, there was plenty of reason to come here looking for his boss and the barkeeper made no attempt to curb his doubts while she served up the drinks with a wink.

I am not keeping her Alfred dear, not this time... But this is miss Daisy and Julie, and they have a good point. If she is not at her own dojo, then perhaps you can take a fiver and enjoy a pint with us?

Nice to make your acquaintances, but someone has to keep tabs on these hero types. Else whose to remind them to actually stop once in awhile and do there jobs and buy there produce? We got a whole bin of kids coming by this afternoon for lessons.
