"What's wrong with her?" Tepoztecal frowned, turning towards the girls.
"You look like a skinny baby doll with blue skin," Jin replied.
"We thought you knew?" Brandi added, while Bud nodded.
"So she's calling me a 'that'?" the little blue god scowled. "I wasn't called 'that' in Tenochtitlan!"
"That was a long time back," Bud pointed out. "Maybe you should introduce yourself?"
"Or we can pay up and leave before it gets ugly," Jin retorted, waving to Scarlet. "Check please!"

That's hardly necessary dear, keep your eyes on something else you like if the other patrons are distracting you.

Scarlett said playfully tsking her lips as she got up to move over to the trio of girls. Giving Tepoztecal a small nod she went to fetch the check and brought it back giving an apologetic smile. Fights were non existent in the bar as Scarlett enjoyed keeping her patrons docile and teased with entertainment. That made it a fairly common neutral area for even rivals to meet and made sure everyone was happy to come here and pay up no matter where they came from.

Here you are dears, or feel free to keep the tab open if you want to repay me later.

"Just a doggy bag for my dinner," Tepoz sighed. "Rather pay up than run a tab."

"Tepoztecal, perhaps you better ride in my bag for a while where you won't get noticed?" Brandi offered, holding open her purse.
"Must be tough to come to town and everyone doesn't recognize you," Bud shrugged, sliding down from her bar stool.

Scarlett took the pay and made note of the name for her own research later before returning to Julie. Hopefully she was in better spirits now that the barkeeper was the only one to claim her attention.

Outside the streets were back to bustling in record time as the mess was quick to clean up outside. The inside would require further security and investigation as the police set up crime scene blockades. The skyport was running it's evening routes as the giant blonde man back. Standing outside the hollowed building with the winged being, they were discussing the next move while the girls walk outside.

"I am not hallucinating? Thank the goddess!" Julie took her food to a booth. She started mumbling about how this city is way too weird.

Daisy walked back in, taking the last bite of something. She found Julie at a booth eating. "Not back yet?" Julie shook her head. "There was a blue guy he was only about a foot tall. I thought I was hallucinating." Daisy facepalmed. She could smell the alcohol on Julie's breath. "Quit drinking alcohol. It makes you paranoid and you hallucinate." Daisy didn't believe for one second there was a blue guy about a foot tall. "It just tastes so good and I like the way it feels going down. If we can get up to the flying city we could check with the religious people there apparrently they have some crazy voodoo medicine or something." Daisy raised an eyebrow. "Voodoo medicine? Are you sure that wasn't a hallucination? She could be there looking for some kind of superhero remedy. There are those with some amazing regenerative healing abilities. Worth a shot while we wait on those hooeded guys."

Daisy went to the bar. She pulled her wallet out of her purse. "How much do we owe you?"

"So, are we going up?" Brandi asked as she stepped out. Across the street, she could see the costumed heroes.
"No, they've got nested spell spheres as wards," Tepoz replied, glancing up. "Anyone going in and out will show up instantly. Fortunately, that saves us a ton of trouble."
    "How?"
"They can't do that down here without both spheres merging together, which would leave them vulnerable to anyone who can fly or teleport from the the ground. It also means we're in their shadow, sort of like a giant patio umbrella."
"So they can't see what we're doing if we stay down here?" Jin scoffed. "A shocking vulnerability."
"Well, they can see us, they just can't use wards like those above. They got them boxes that watches from a distance. Just don't do anything you don't want them to see in front of one."

"Oh! I see one of those now!" Bud said, waving at a cameraman across the street.
"We're trying not to attract attention," Jin hissed at Bud, grabbing the blonde's arm and dragging her away.
"Why not? We can break out of any place they stick us!"

Tepoz rolled his eyes. "They can always build a better box until they work it out," he warned. "Let's not give them a head start. So we need to find someone who specializes in commercial retail and knows about local bar licensing."

Seeing the other vividly dressed beauty return, Scarlett smirked watching t he ladies exchange as she sent Pong off with his friend for the night with a polite wave. Once the old monk was gone, she turned to Daisy who approached the counter and tapped her nails on the counter in a contemplating manner.

Your lovely friend was just mingling with the other patrons, not hallucinating dear... There are so very many types around these parts... Truly it is rarer for things to be what they appear than not. But don't worry about the tab, we can settle with each other later since you will be back looking for the Hissers anyways.

The redhead said slowly, taking the moment to enjoy meeting Daisy up close and bask in the specific lingering energy hanging around her after dragging off the other patrons. The barkeeper let the pair go on there way as the sun was getting low in the sky and typically this brought about a sort of shift change among day and night patrons.

The cameraman gave a swivel away from the close up of the building to get a surprise pan shot of Bud and the others. The giant man glanced over to see what the commotion was and beamed a wide smile to his comrade. Giving an elbow nudge that would prove overwhelming to a lesser creature, he smugly stomped over and flexed his tattooed muscles for the trio of onlooking ladies.

Gday! Were you trying to get some shots for your social accounts? Or did you sheilas want to report seein something from the attack?

The golden maned man asked looking them over. His gaze managed to land upon Tepoz eventually among the other distracting figures as he was joined by the other Peacekeeper rolling his two toned eyes. The monstrous figure curled his wings over each shoulder and clasped them together like a cloak, minimizing his size and dramatic body while seeing how the big guy was getting along with his presumed fan girls.

Daisy returned to Julie who just finished her food. "Time for you to confront your fears. We're going up to the floating city to see if the religious medical people know where our girl is." Julie picked up her plate and the wine bottle, she then went to the bar. "Tell your chef their cooking is a gift and a blessing of the goddess." She left the plates. Then she took the bottle so she could put it in the recycling. Daisy and Julie left for the Skybus station. Daisy went to the terminal. "I like two tickets to that amazing city in the sky." She thought Kathleen may be here to get religious healing or check off an item on her bucket list but she was definitely fulfilling a dream of hers. She pushed over the last of her real money and took the two tickets. "Is there an ATM up there? Running low on cash." She never used credit cards. She learned enough from working with Julie that they are a horrible thing and a great thing for the exact same reason, tracking. She turned her credit cards into dust.

Heading away from the bar and the scene down the street, the pair were given passes by the droid manning the station at all hours of the day and night as the little legless torso swiped up the money into a receptacle and handed over their tickets. Daisy saw the various sky buses puttering about the station as they boarded one. Julie noticed the other passengers which ranged from official organization workers in spiffy uniforms to average looking folks and even kids.

The bus floated up and away into the sky towards the city of Sanctum. The setting sun lit the underside while the upper half was already dark and glowing with the lights of nightlife. The skyport was blustering with some high altitude weather as the bus landed. A small flurry of chilly weather was lightly coating the area when they stepped out until a flying figure in a blue robe came by and raised up his arms. In a surge of eldritch symbols, the winds shifted and the clouds were blown away as the area rapidly became warm and comfy.
