"Retire? Why the heck would I ever do that? The highlight of my day is dealing with the mopes who think they can attack my city. Though creating clothes when I am not busy would be a snap and I could turn things harmful to the environment into something beneficial to my bank account. Jules could help with color choices. That's a great idea. Could do that with food as well. Jules could stop with the private detective stuff. Especially the ones where she just hunts for cheating spouses." Daisy looked over at Jules. "If you want to become a fashion designer be my guest, don't expect me to model them or help. I like chasing down cheating spouses, I get paid to watch people have sex, it's like porn. Hunting down dying lost girls is the worst though." Jules then looked down and immediately regretted it. "This glass floor isn't going to break right? That is a long way down. Why did they build a city in the sky? It's just begging for supervillains to knock it out of the sky."

Following the pair inside, the braided beauty gave an uncertain expression at the idea of turning hazardous materials into stuff people wear. glancing around the cafe at the various tables taken up by a menagerie of citizens, she added on the the detective case.

Well I can check the records and see if this missing girl passed through the city. she would have to go through a checkpoint and get scanned if she made it this far...

The reason its built here is because it might be knocked out of the sky... Location, location, location...

A new voice explained the simple, yet bewilderingly extravagant effort to create Sanctum city. A thin dark man with blue glowing eyes lifted his head from a table in the middle of the scenic floored cafe and spotted Wendy finally arriving with new friends. The doctor sat down beaming at the dreadlocked man and a pair of her duplicates each pulled out a chair for Daisy and Julie before running off to fetch drinks for the table as he said.

...Sanctum exists above all national air space, well into international waters. If for some reason the entire cities godly protection, alien supports, and magic wards all manage to fail... the worst that would happen is we fall into uninhabited waters, well away from any civilized place. Plus up here we are not "legally" a part of Earth. Thus the SLJ is not tied to any authority or borders within this world. We know we are dangerous, and we attract danger... much like you ladies.

“If you are willing to help. She’s is dying. She needs to be on dialysis, pronto. From my understanding, she is more than likely experiencing hallucinations similar to symptoms of being high. Unless she received dialysis here or the city below. She also needs a liver transplant. She maybe in this city for medical treatment or fulfilling some bucket list.” Daisy noticed Julie keeping close to the wall. “Come on Jules have a seat.” Julie shook her head. “Nope. No way.” Daisy sighed. She then used her powers to turn a path of glass into steel and the area under the table and chairs. Julie reluctantly left the wall. As she walked the path of steel behind her turned back to glass. “Julie you should see someone about your fear of heights and flying.” Julie shook her head. “No head docs. They only turn it into something perverted some of them try to make it about your parents. They are sickos.” While Julie went on her tirade about the sick head docs Daisy turned all of the floor back to its original state.

"As long as that means a room and food," Jin agreed. Tepoztecal frowned as he leaned his head to stare at her, noticing she was standing a bit more stiffly. Her eyes caught his, and she nodded slightly.

Tepoztecal turned to stare at the landscape before him. It didn't look like a trap, but then the best ones never did. He wondered how many of these pockets existed around the city?

"So how much is this going to cost me?" he asked.

Watching the fidgeting woman work her way over to the seat, Wendy gave a supportive grin for the bold adventure out to the middle of the cafe. Looking to the dark man with the more detailed report on the missing girl's condition, the doctor introduced him since they had yet to ask. Although he seemed to have some awareness of who they were.

Good job Julie! and Daisy, this is Robert! The man who helped found this league, and built the clinic I operate from! He will definitely be able to help her, once we can find her that is... Oh, and this is Daisy and Julie, my company for the evening Rige!

Good evening ladies. Its nice to finally meet you in person. Sorry to hear that you have come to visit on business though... Perhaps once we get this missing girl fixed up we should have dinner somewhere closer to the ground when things are not so hectic?

The dreadlocked man said while thanking the other Wendies that returned with menus before ordering a drink. His glowing eyes gave the doctor a sharp side glance which was returned with an apologetic wince at having their dinner date become an emergency meeting. The half smirk on his lips showed he did not mind this last minute ploy for help while looking over the floor changing to and from different materials.

Oh no worries mate! Ya don't save the bloody world over and over without gettin some benefits from it! Besides, me jobs got me rent covered no matter where I stay! ...so long as its not within city limits... ahem, right! On we go!

The blonde giant watched the twins depart through another portal as he marched up to the resort lobby and ducked through the doorway. A slight dent in the wooden archway showed he had spent plenty of nights learning to duck even while drunk. After a short banter with the front desk, he returned with a suite key for them. The suspicion of a second thought crossing his mind showed on his face briefly before he decided to remove it by saying.

Alright then? Here's the key to your new pad! Its one of there biggest, three swags in all... uhh... did you sheilas need more? I don't know how ya handle sleeping arrangements usually...

He looked down at the petite figures and particularly Tepoztecal who seemed content with tote bags and such accommodations so far. While handing over the tiny key in his thick fingers, Taurius itched his goatee unsure if the tiny blue man needed an entire bed to himself or if the girls planned on pulling out a sock drawer or something.

"If it was up to me I would never leave. I love it here!" Daisy watched the way the two supers interacted. "You two are a thing aren't you?" It was phrased as a question but it was more of a statement. She started thinking about Wendy's powers in use in the bedroom. "So many possibilities and complications. It must be real fun."

Julie could hardly pay attention to the conversation around her much less the newcomer. She started to hyperventalate reflexively she created a forcefield around herself and the chair she was setting on. The forcefield pushed her away from the table. Once encased in her forcefield she began to feel better.

Wendy glanced over at the bubble wrapped woman as Julie encased herself and the doctor lifted up his arm, pulling back the sleeve to reveal a blue hued arm console. A tiny ball popped out of it and expanded into a spherical eyeball shaped probe that floated over and scanned the sphere encased Julie. When asked about being a "thing" their reactions were simultaneous, if divergent.

    What!? No!

    Not anymore.

Well I mean... we Were before. But not anymore, and besides, Hes not even working at the clinic anymore!

Retired is the title now, and besides... if you are interested, Wendy can hold down several jobs and relations at once now that her temporal power has tempered over the years.

Rigel smirked at the doctor being able to be many places at once, but unable to disappear from being here as she blushed at his remark. The probe finished scanning Julie and floated back into the armband as Daisy noticed the luminous cracked scars that framed his face were hidden under his sleeves as well.

Daisy spoke to the Rigel. "Retired? At your age? You must be extremely rich." Daisy turned to Wendy. "With him not working at the clinic can be a good thing, especially with your power. A lot of businesses frown upon coworkers dating." She addressed both. "You two seem to really like and care for each other. Didn't find out you were secretly related were you? I had a friend who found she was dating and banging her half-brother. Needless to say, they called it quits and she went into therapy. Last I heard the boy left college to become a priest."

Listening to Julie gossip and gush over a possible romance was making Julie feel better. She didn't know if is Daisy was doing it for that reason or if she was really interested in these two. Julie didn't realize it but the better she felt the forcefield gradually disappeared, not completely.

Rigel arched his eyebrow and glanced just about any direction since the ceiling and floor was glass, giving a glittering view of the stars above and the coastline below, almost mirroring each other for cloudy sparkling glamour. Having helped create this city, yet putting more personal investment in medically helping supernatural people with all imaginable forms of problems. The glowing eyed man leaned forward and shrugged.

...This looks like a good spot to retire at. Wendy has full control over the clinic, and frankly has far less personal drama to interfere with helping patients. I keep getting more drawn into your line of work despite not being an officially licensed Peacekeeper.

Granted you ladies are doing much more involved work. Individual cases like the Three Bodies agency! And no we are damn well not related, just grew up together like all the first generation SLJ members. I've known Rigel and his friends since elementary grade. So naturally we learned to work well together.

Wendy explained as one of her duplicates delivered their meal choices. Daisy saw the ex-doctor examine his scans on his arm band as the bold beauty noticed her friend retracting her force field while Wendy was happy to gab over her meal.
