What’s the limit on rank? If I wanted to do a character that was a commander of a chimaera strike team before being injured and thus, retired, would that be too much?
How injured? This is a scout ship. While most of this is on one deck, there's an "attic" area and a lower hold, you have to be able to climb a ladder to get to the other decks.
I suppose we could cut out the grav plating or give you a contragrav belt....

The injury has been mostly healed, the only long-term effects are a slight limp. But it was serious enough to have him unable to work for a while, so rather than wait for him to recover fully, they just gave him a nice retirement package and moved on.
I could just scrap the injury part entirely if it’s too much, and just have him retire like any other.
