Ajin: Demi-Human is a manga and Netflix Original anime, and has even been turned into a live action movie.

The premise is that there are demi-humans walking around called Ajin. they look like humans, but don't have any rights. Which sucks.
But what make Ajin special, are their abilities.
- The biggest one is that they never die. Tear their heart out, cut off their head, blow them up, whatever you want. They will regenerate and stand back without a scratch on them besides their shredded clothes. Though they may be mentally scarred afterwards.
- Second most notable ability is the IBM, or Invisible Black Matter, also known as ghosts. A being that is created my the Ajin, and follows their commands, except in rare cases where they are left lone for too long before being found by the maker, allowing them to develop wills of their own. These things are invisible to everyone but Ajin, and in the cases where they have the urge and intent to kill you. Besides being controlled by commands, they can even be directly controlled like a mentally controlled avatar. Each variant is unique, and there has even been an instance of one with wings.
- Ability number three, which is only ever mentioned and used once in the show is the scream, which parallelizes anyone who hears it for a short amount of time.

Fun facts about IBM, besides being the ghost, it is an invisible mineral not produced by anything else. besides being what the ghost is made of, it seems to have been theorized that it's what Ajin produce and/or grants them their special abilities.

Now the reasons they don't have any rights is because of these abilities. Mainly the reset ability that allows them to continue coming back. Because of this, they have been captured and used in research of many types in order to test the effects and effectiveness of medicine and weapons. The ability to always come back means that they never run out of test materials and subjects.

The show goes through trying not to be captured, then someone trying to cause change by starting an Ajin revolution, and then Ajin fighting Ajin in order to save lives and earn a place in humanity.

After all this info dump, let me say this.

The whole point of the game will be sorta like hunter and hunter. Cat and mouse.
Party willing, the game will be split into two teams. The government, trying to capture and contain every Ajin for research, and the Ajin, trying to run and avoid capture.
Humans can be on either side either sympathetic to the Ajin, or trying to sell them out.
Death is not a consequence for Ajin. If you choose to be human, be careful.
