Allysa nodded and shows him the name, there was a other women's name the name of the woman who made Nathaniel
“I won’t forgive you. I won’t forget you yet, but I’m going to leave you and move on.” – Hatori Chise
He read their names with growing concern. Lyza and he used to be together, and her death had been really hard on him. She had taught him everything he now valued about controlling himself and his hunger.
Allysa looked him "Nate? What wrong?" She asked
“I won’t forgive you. I won’t forget you yet, but I’m going to leave you and move on.” – Hatori Chise
He took a deep breath, tearing his eyes away from the journal so he could look at her. "...Lyza. She was May's grandmother. She trained me. We... We used to be in love," he said softly.
Allysa looked at him a bit surprised "You were in love with May's grandmother?"
“I won’t forgive you. I won’t forget you yet, but I’m going to leave you and move on.” – Hatori Chise
He nodded. "...She wasn't May's grandmother yet back then, of course."
"But why is she writing about me?" and she looked again at Nathaniel, and back to the diary again and looked further into May's diary, and saw a drawing of Alllysa's pendant
“I won’t forgive you. I won’t forget you yet, but I’m going to leave you and move on.” – Hatori Chise
He shook his head. "I don't know... May never told me about any of this."
Allysa closed the diary and put it away, and felt a shiver down her spine
“I won’t forgive you. I won’t forget you yet, but I’m going to leave you and move on.” – Hatori Chise
Nathaniel held her tightly. Had May lied to them the whole time? Had she always known about Allysa's past? If so, why on earth had she kept it from them? Then a realisation hit him, and he looked down at the diary. He also knew more than he was pretending to.
"...Allysa, I... I have to tell you something," he said softly. "Right before we left, Steven told me something in a drunken stupor. I... I suppose part of me wanted to think he was spouting nonsense, but I don't think he was. He... He claimed you were 200 years old."
