Callie looked at him and forced a smile before she closed her eyes, trying not to cry. The whole thing coming back to her once again. Every memory from the moment she met Jim.
Frank smiled and looked at the two. He then noticed his daughter's forced smile, causing him to slightly frown. "Oh okay, well I'm glad she helped you out. May i ask how you met her, exactly?"

Jim glanced at Callie and squeezed her hand for comfort. "...Through Kris," he said softly. "He and I used to be in high school together."

Callie sniffled a little at the squeeze and sqeezed his hand back as tight as she could to keep from crying. She wasn't going to cry. She refused to cry.

Frank nodded his head and sighed a little. "Well I'm glad you stepped in." He said and then looked at Mazy. "I think we need to get back to our hotel. I think we should let them have a small break from us."

Jim nodded and looked at them. "I'll show you to the door," he said, getting up.

Frank nodded his head and looked to Callie. "I missed you, Bug. I love you." He said to her softly then followed Jim to the door. "If you ever need anything or she does. Give us a call. We will be here for about a week to begin with."

Jim nodded. "I'm sure she'll appreciate that. Have a good night."

Frank nodded and walked out before he smiled at Mazy. Once in the car he sighed. "Well we have some info for Parker. We can have him go to the bar tomorrow. Have him be one of his costumers."

Callie sniffled and looked at Jim once they were gone. "You know I didn't save you...." She said and then looked down at Bae. "I think this little one saved us both."

Jim looked at her and went over to hug her. "...I don't recall Bae jumping into the river to drag me out."

Callie sniffled and let out a small laugh. "You are such an ass...." She said and then gave him a kiss. "I lo.... Like you so much." She said and shook her head. Why on earth did LOVE want to come out? Was it because she did love him? There was NO way she did yet.

He looked at her, the brief confusion in her voice not going unnoticed. She seemed flustered, so he decided not to mention it, and simply gave her another kiss. "I like you so much too. Are you hungry?"
