Bae nodded her head slowly and honestly became a little uncomfortable. Her father was acting strange. So for the rest of the shopping trip she tried her best to be herself. Once they were back at home, Bae hesitated to run off to go back in the house with her stuff.
Jim parked the car and got out before helping her get out of her seat. "Are you happy with your new clothes, baby?"
Bae looked at him and nodded her head slowly. "Y-Yes sir." She said and clung to him. She didn't want to be put down. Even though he did act very different outside then inside, she still wanted his comfort.
Jim gave her a confused smile. "Are you okay?
Bae shook her head. She then bit her lip. "You scared me...." She said and then started to cry again.
Jim bit his lips and hugged her to him. "I'm sorry baby. Apparently I wasn't as ready to take you out there as I thought I would be."
Bae sniffled and cried a little longer. Of course it was time for her to nap, well a little past time. "Daddy? I wanna go take a nap...." She said and held onto him before looking at him.
He nodded. "Of course you can. Let's go inside," he said and locked the car before bringing her back to their room.
Bae sniffled and smiled a little. "I love you." She said to him and then opened her bag to grab out some Pj's. "Are you going to give the new girl her stuff?"
"I love you too, Bae. I'll bring the clothes to her while you take your nap."
