    @Sabes; @SUKONE-P;

Okay, going to suggest some NPC staff members for The Promethean Society.

Club Manager: Sergeant Major Tutor Bryn "Shut it" Williams (ret.) - head member of staff, a muscular florid man with ginger hair and a pointed handlebar mustache. He treats the club members with due difference and respect and can verbally peel strips off the hide of any member of staff who steps out of line. 20+ year Army veteran. Has the key to the club's wine cellars and pantry.

Deputy Manager: Bombardier Issac 'Solly' Solomons (ret.) - lean but muscular, dark hair, wears round glasses. He has some theater experience, efficient organizer and sharp. Father was a pawn broker. Only other person who has keys to the club's wine cellars and pantry.

Club Secretary Gunner Gilbert Beaumont (vet) - a slight yet wiry man with a pained sickly smile who acts as though the weight of the world rested on his eternally weary shoulders. Always complaining about the weather but can be depended upon in a pinch. Coordinates the club entertainments, meetings, and in charge of the library. Luna's boss.

Head Steward: First Sergeant Alfred Fitzsimons (ret.) - a lean wiry man, slightly balding, with a pencil mustache. Former street thief who was sentenced to serve in the Light Calvary. Wound up as an army scout with a reputation as a scrounger. He misses nothing but is very discrete, watches the stewards under him with an eagle eye. Anyone who thinks he's the one they want to meet in a dark alley may live long enough to regret that.

He is in charge of the stewards, who take care of the rooms and hallways, they also can step in as valets for the gentlemen guests.

Head Footman Gunner Nigel "Parky" Parkin (vet) (Sgt.Major falsely believes Parky to be his son, having had a brief affair with his mother in his younger years) - Muscular young man who serves at the Club Entrance behind the Front Desk. Handle the member's mail and deliveries, guards the entrance against intrusions.

Footmen receive the club members and their guests, deliver messages, and help serve at meals.

Head cook Master Chief Irwin Laroche (ret) - small slight French cook, has a small green house next to the kitchen where he grows fresh herbs and is a dab hand at spicing (frowns if you season your food without tasting it), very good with knives and an expert climber. Rumored to have been a cat burglar in his younger days, expert jewelry appraiser. Manages somehow to get into the wine cellar and pantry despite not having a key for them.

Assistant cook Gunner Harold Horace Herbert Willy 'Lofty' Sugden (vet) - a small, rotund man sometimes described as a turnip or a mushroom but has an amazing tenor voice which even the Sergeant Major is in awe of.

Any of these guys can be replaced if players want to take over their position.

Forgot that Gentlemen's clubs were exclusively male sanctuaries, so I'm going to suggest a few changes. Luna was wearing men's clothes and had bumped into a club member who then accused her of picking his pocket, ordered the footmen to grab her and dragged her into the club to be searched (turned out the missing pocket watch was in another pocket).

Before he could admit finding it, an antique vase on display in the public rooms that was going to be auctioned off for charity was bumped as she struggled with the footmen and shattered on the floor (and, of course, they expect her to pay for what they thought they could get for it).

Nineteen spent the rest of the day as the scullery 'boy' before admitting she knew how to type, and it was decided to move her up to the Club Secretary's office - but it was days before they discovered Nineteen was a girl.

They wound up converting one of the smaller linen closets on the upper floors for her to stay in (afraid she'd run off otherwise) and she's to keep up the pretense for the club members or else they've threatened to put her in one of the debtor prisons.

You could play as a royal child, yes. and feel free to make multiple character, in case i didn't make that clear previously.

Anything I should know about the royal children?

Also, I wanted to talk about my second character, because I wanted to straight up make a cat. Like a alley cat kind of cat, only not an alley cat. It is a cat that escaped from a scientist that experimented on them. So now they can talk and understand people language.

Once again, I'm pleased to see how involved you are in this rp so far!
Your NPCs are marvelous and can come in handy. I was going to create a few side or pre-made characters myself. I see you offer the option to replace, but would you be willing to offer these characters up for adoption?
So instead of working in the gentleman's club, she more of is held captive there? Is she still a Floating City character or did I miss a few details? (Excuse me, I've been absent and overwhelmed so I don't have much straight about all this)

Hey, fun question, what is a song/lyric/quote/poem that matches your character?
I'll be making a new character and his song will be the Bidding by Tally Hall

    Name: Sable Kicker (AKA Dustytail)
    Race/Breed: Wolf Anthro
    Gender Identity: Cis Male
    Age: early 20's
Class: Middle Class of the Ground
Occupation/skills: Factory worker and Tinker Shop worker
Appearance: Skinny, hunched and white-furred, he's often seen in his work clothes which is typically includes a shabby brown hat, a loose vest, brown and tan lined pants and shoes that make his feet look big.

    Sexuality: Biromantic Graysexual
Personality: He keeps quiet and keeps his nose out of trouble unless he knows it's for the greater good. He has a problem stepping out of his boundaries and being social, but he's really loyal once you get close enough to earn his trust
Ties: There's a girl that's way out of his league that works at the factory as a heavy laborer. His best friend is a robot who also works at the factory. He lives with his big and lazy uncle, who doesn't work now or leave the apartment much due to a leg injury. He has run-ins with Rue the cop when he takes strolls in the Upper Class neighborhoods while daydreaming on his days off.
Kin: his parents ran off somewhere one day and said they'll stop by to visit but that's probably just their excuse for leaving Sable with the uncle since he was the runt of their pack.
History: He's lived on the Ground his whole life, he used to live in the Lower Class with the orphans until his uncle picked him up kindly but said he had to get a crap ton of jobs to make up for it and pay all his uncle's bills considering the uncle can't work anymore. Slowly, he's been saving his money, which has been very stressful, but he has hope that he can find a mate or at least a robo-friend to move in with him in a nice house at the top of the mountain in the Upper Class. No big plans, just survival.
    Weaknesses: Antisocial AF
Strengths: Independent, focused, and determined. One-track mind kinda guy.
Magick: He hasn't wondered if he has any gift, he just focuses on trying to survive.
Pets: none, but his robot friend sometimes seems like one.

OJT's okay for some professions, but it can lack consistancy. If you're police, firefighter, a doctor, surgeon, lawyer or some other professional, you want them to have more than just some OJT, they need some structured schooling.

Accountants, merchants, and even shopkeepers will need to know how to do sums, otherwise how will anyone know what they owe each other, owe the workers, or what they owe the revenue agents? This empire isn't going to run on fumes. Taxes must be collected. Government officials and agencies paid.

As to military, keep in mind there are likely to be riots to be put down. Different areas might not have a floating city to mind them. And it's a way to keep people's attention on the border and not what's going on around them.

    Perhaps you're a member too.

I was thinking perhaps the reason for all this is they're actually rebuilding society following a very nasty war.

Keep in mind that printing presses are all under the control of the Higher Order, so there's not going to be a stack of books or pamplets being printed up on the side - someone will want to account what happened to the paper and ink when the police come calling.

Any books are going to be few in number, either hand-written or typed, hand-bound, and passed along from person to person. They'll also be told how long they'll have to read the book - it could be a week, it could be a night.

For some people, it's going to be the thrill of the forbidden. For some, it may be just a decent read.

Accepted. Impressed, as always. I may as well promote you to be a mod one of these days.
