Gym Leader Elizabeth: *Commanding her Alolan Sandslash* Sandslash, Use Dig and evade the attacks... then sneak up with a Shadow Claw infused with a Blizzard, Follow it with a Gunk shot and then claw in with A Steel Beam attack mixed with Steel Claw. We are gonna make this final bastion the wall that separates them from the win. Hit it!

It was then that the attacks went on. Sandslash used Dig Waiting for the guard to be down enough for a sneak attack. Once the shot was open... Sandslash Struck up and immediately rammed in with a shadow Claw and Blizzard... Making it an arctic Shadow Claw. It was a shot not seen coming and with a direct hit progressed to hitting with a Gunk Shot which would poison Ceruledge. Sandslash did not dare stop from that point as it then went with the Steel Beam and then with razor sharp precision... Slashed and carved deep with Steel Claw. This Sandslash was pretty fast and it was sure not gonna let up on the attacks. It put in the full strength of the attack and kept at it. Making certain that there was no miss.

With the attacks doing the damage expected... or so it may have only seemed... Was it gonna mean that Donald's Ceruledge was gonna be in a funk... choking upon the fumes of its own smoke... or did Donald... The Digi-Enforcer... have a surprise technique which that... could prove out to be his Ace in the hole?

This was for the deciding verdict. Was he gonna land a win... or was this a defeat?

As Sandslash dished out its attacks, most of them were resisted by Ceruledge with the exception of Shadow Claw and Dig, which both did quite a lot. Flame Charge may have missed, but the Will-O-Wisp had left Sandslash with a burn that reduced the damage dealt by physical attacks. Sandslash was left confused by the Confuse Ray, but luckily maintained its focus to pull off all its attacks. Sandslash may be fast, but Ceruledge was showing off his speed as well.

"Steel Beam in a sudden death round?" Donald asked after seeing Sandslash throw away half its maximum HP, "You're practically throwing in the towel with that move. Ceruledge, slice and dice with your signature Bitter Blade and finish Sandslash off with Close Combat!" Putting his higher Speed to work, Ceruledge charged at Sandslash, flitting here and there to throw off where he would attack from and with his sword arm ignited slashed at Sandslash with the power of his bitterness towards the living world. Ceruledge followed up with a salvo of stabs, slices and slashes at close range. Donald was confident that Sandslash would not likely survive two moves that exploited both of Sandslash's double weaknesses while his Ceruledge's HP was in a steady attrition from the poison.

The Gym leader had her Sandslash dig again and evade just in the nick of time to wait for another shot of Steel claw and Shadow claw... But this time... lure Ceruledge over to it and wait till its back was turned... before making the strike. It was gonna be a one chance... one hit and hope for a miracle. But with the attacks that were coming... it filled the Arena with smoke and it was gonna be a determining result. But... Who was gonna be the one that won it?

    In the Waiting Room...

Arnold S.: That was a very deep battle.

Gerald: That's something i'd say. But i agree. That was pretty heavy.

Helga G. Pataki: That battle was... Criminy! who could possibly survive that? The Gym Leader was using every strong vicious and serious trick in the book for the match. Donald... He whisked right by them as if... they were little to nothing.

Jeremy: Don't be too shocked. A few of us got an Aegislash. So... the outcome might be near the very same as the match we had just witnessed.

    Sid: And how...

They were all in shock but knew that there was gonna be no way of telling who won till the smoke cleared... The Question still remained... who was the Victor?

Donald was looking into the smoke, hoping that Ceruledge survived Sandslash's attacks. "Come on, Ceruledge, don't let me down," he said to himself.
