A critically-hitting Brine was what defeated Excadrill, winning Harold the Titanium Steel Badge.
Gerald's battle was his Axew against Elizabeth's ever-spinning Klinklang. On a battlefield charged with Electric Terrain, Axew was taking hits from moves like Rising Voltage, Gear Grind and Steel Roller. The latter attack had destroyed the Electric Terrain. Axew soon found themselves held between Klinklang's gears through their Vice Grip and before they would succumb to the attack, Axew let off a bright cyan glow before evolving into a Fraxure. A Reversal from the newly-evolved Fraxure was enough to have Klinklang fall apart, earning Gerald the Titanium Steel Badge.
Lila's battle was her Torracat vs Elizabeth's Scizor. Scizor was trying as hard as they could to avoid getting hit while also dealing their own share of damage, mainly from moves like Acrobatics. All the while, Torracat was bringing the heat into battle through various Fire-type moves. As Scizor was charging in for an Aerial Ace, they got a full Overheat before their move would land. Thoroughly carbonized, Scizor lay defeated while Torracat sportingly dragged them into the range of the recall beam. Lila won the Titanium Steel Badge for the heated battle.
Last of the current quartet was Patti and like Lila, her Pokémon of choice was a Fire type. Unlike Lila, Patti chose her Arcanine while Elizabeth went with her Steelix. Similar to some other battles involving one or more Ground-type Pokémon, Ground attacks were being thrown back and forth with a mix of Fire-type attacks coming from Arcanine. During that time, the sunlight grew heavy, providing a boost to Arcanine's Fire attacks. Steelix started floating into the air from Magnet Rise and Arcanine responded with a Raging Fury, really turning up the heat on the battlefield. Steelix charged at Arcanine with a High Horsepower and Arcanine returned fire with their ongoing Raging Fury. A large cloud of dust enveloped the impact site that soon ignited into a large fireball rising into the air, revealing Steelix and Arcanine staring each other down with the former floating in the air. Through a burn that was inflicted on Steelix earlier in the battle, Steelix fell down and crashed on the battlefield while Arcanine jumped clear and then let off a victory Howl. Patti had won the Titanium Steel Badge.
