To help us with our concepts so we craft adventurers, could you please expand on "rag-tag but good-overall group of space-farers assembled by chance"? Trying to work out if I need to be a botsun's mate working with cargo or a merc ready to take on pirates and rescue colonists.

A bit of a primer will be included in the OOC post, which will (fingers crossed) go up soon after I get home from work in a little over an hour. It will include a sort of setup along with relevant background information and some mechanical details.

Is anyone around to test the rolling with me? I want to give it a few trial runs to see how it works and what all it can do

Actually if I recall the roll 4d6 drop the lowest doesn’t work on this site

basically my thought was roll them individually and once the results are shown any that are too low are rerolled in another post, but I was thinking we could do this part via direct message, I wanted to test that if possible, could you attempt to roll in a direct message to me as a test?

sent you one that shows each roll and below that, shows an open roll. Open roll looks weird in test, I managed to roll an 11 and a 19 on a d6

Yeah, I sent you a roll for 1d6 and it shows I rolled an 8 with 2d6

Apologies for the delay! I'm editing and formatting the OOC to make sure it comes out right in the post.

Thank you both for working on this with me, since dice are an important cornerstone for this and we want to make sure they work properly!

@Enigma: Your rolls didn't seem to come out for me, just the commands showed, no results are visible to me, where did you end up seeing them?
@Yggdrasil_Hugger: Yeah that's definitely an odd result.

At this point it may be better to do all of the rolling on Roll20 or something that works a little better and then just have the roleplay stuff be here :/ we can keep trying though, I'm going to send some tests back!
