Fora nodded her head and smiled. “I do. I don’t think my love for him is because of the curse. I think I really do love him.” She said and slowly got out of bed to hug her mother.
Jonathan nodded his head and chuckled. “I believe you on that one. So, anything you wanna talk about?”
Her mother hugged her back. "...I'll try to accept that. I love you, Fora."
Sam chuckled a little, but the motion made the chains move and he winced. He didn't want to look at what his hands must look like at this point. "...How have you and Jill been doing?"
Fora nodded her head and sniffled into her shoulder. “What if this is something Sam and I can’t work through?”
Jonathan smiled and glanced back at him. “We are doing pretty good I’d say. We may try getting married within the next year or so.” He said and then started to type on the computer. “You sure you don’t want the chains off?”
"You're going to have to," her mother said softly but sternly. "You are bound for life. I'm sure you'll work it out."
"Sure," he said with a soft groan. "So Jill... Is she asexual?" he asked softly. He could almost read her mind over the phone last time they spoke.
Fora nodded her head and then pulled away from the hug. “I know. Call me and let me know if he’s coming.”
Jonathan looked at him. “Sure you want them off or sure you wanna keep them on?” He asked and then sighed. “Man, it’s so hard. I mean I respect her and love her, but it’s so hard when you have the need.”
Her mother nodded and pulled away. "Rest up, baby. You survived this once, you'll do it again."
"I'll keep them on, thanks," he said, though the pain was clearly seeping through his voice now. "Have you talked about an open relationship? I'm sure Jill would be up for it."
Fora nodded her head and smiled. “I love you Mommy.” She said and then waited for her to leave before she looked at Jill. “Isn’t my Mommy great?”
Jonathan looked back at him and shook his head. “No, I only have eyes for Jill. Besides what would I get from an open relationship when all I want is Jill?”
Jill smiled wanly. "I suppose... She seems like she's trying."
Sam shrugged a little. "You'd get that need fulfilled."
Fora smiled and nodded her head. “So what was Sam doing when you got there?”
Jonathan nodded his head and sighed. “Or I could just get sex toys.”
Jill looked down. "I... I honestly don't know. But there was a lot of blood..."
"Fair enough," Sam said. "Good on you for sticking with her, man. She must have been terrified when she told you."
