Plot: The fourth daughter, the illegitimate child of King Reginald, is sent off on a political marriage to their enemy country to stop the bloodshed between the two nations and to bring peace. In the eyes of the foreign nation, they do not know of her origins.

When she lays eyes on her husband-to-be, she proposes a contractual marriage. With her goal to settle down and run a farm, will she be able to escape the clutches of matrimony? (Basically, what my first post is going to be)

Name: Princess Evelina

Age: 19


Physical Appearance:
Evelina is a stunning beauty with flowing golden locks that cascade down to her waist. Her enchanting sapphire-blue eyes are filled with intelligence and determination. She has a petite yet graceful figure and a radiant smile that can charm anyone she encounters. Her regal bearing, combined with her natural elegance, makes her stand out in any crowd.

Backstory:
As Evelina grew up in the royal palace, her existence was kept a secret to protect her from the potential backlash that her illegitimate status could bring. She was raised by a trusted group of loyal servants who ensured she received a proper education, despite the constant struggle to keep her hidden from prying eyes.


Evelina's childhood was a lonely one, as she was often confined to the palace grounds and forbidden from interacting with the royal family. However, she found solace in books, eagerly devouring knowledge and expanding her understanding of the world beyond the palace walls. She developed a deep love for nature, spending hours exploring the palace gardens and studying the intricacies of plants and animals.


As she matured, Evelina's intellect and wit became apparent to those around her, even as she remained invisible to the public eye. Her conversations with the palace scholars and tutors revealed a keen understanding of politics, history, and diplomacy. It was during these discussions that she first caught glimpses of the power dynamics and the potential for change.


The arrival of the Godking and his reign of terror changed everything. The once-thriving kingdom was thrown into chaos as fiefdoms and smaller kingdoms were decimated in the onslaught. King Reginald, fearing the destruction of his own lands, made the difficult decision to offer up Evelina as a bargaining chip. In a desperate attempt to appease the Godking, he sold his own daughter to secure a fragile peace.


Unbeknownst to the foreign nation where she was sent, Evelina arrived as a pawn in a political marriage. However, when she laid eyes on her husband-to-be, she saw an opportunity to shape her own destiny. Rather than resigning herself to a life of duty and subservience, she proposed a contractual marriage—a partnership that would allow her to pursue her dreams of a simple life on a farm.


The idea of escaping the clutches of matrimony and embracing a life close to nature ignited a fire within Evelina. She yearned for the freedom to work the land, cultivate crops, and find solace in the simplicity of rural life. Her proposal surprised many, but her determination and conviction convinced her potential spouse that this unconventional arrangement could be mutually beneficial.


Evelina's journey to escape the chains of her royal heritage and find her place in the world is just beginning. With her intelligence, charisma, and resourcefulness, she strives to navigate the complexities of court politics, all the while keeping her true lineage a secret. As she delves deeper into her adventure, she may uncover her own hidden potential that could play a crucial role in shaping her fate.

I forgot to ask in the recruitment thread, so I am going to ask here, Hoef do you prefer a more detailed character sheet or something more generic? This will help me determine how in depth to go on the CS before we start the IC thread.

Your post will begin with her arriving in the country yes?
Saw that you do in fact start by having her arrive in the enemy country.

I could start with establishing the setting of the enemy nation giving you a stronger establishing post.

Also some questions I think need to be hammered out before I can get started on the CS:

What kind of conflict is happening between the two nations that is leading to this peace agreement? Is my home country blocking trade routes? Is his country trying to take over the world/known world? I need to know what lead into him giving away his illegitimate daughter.

In terms of politics, are we going with a regular Monarchy, or would you prefer more of an Aristocracy? Just want to understand the structure of power of the nations and having it established earlier helps.
