Cyreus was worried for Ike not knowing what his current situation was or if his friends and family were safe. Cyreus wished he could go on shore and help Ike but he wasn't aware of the fact he could as long as his skin dried up.

Ike sobbed as he tried to help Jill sit up, but she only cringed and fell back down. There was no strength left in her.
"Jill... Jill, hang in there!"
"Ike... you have to... help..."
"How?! Oh Sky Father, Jill, tell me what to do!"
"They... They took them to their cities... My parents... Your parents..."
"Why?! Why would they do this?!" he cried out, but she just shook her head. He could tell she was fading fast. "Jill... Jill, I'm so sorry, I should have been here. I should have saved you, and everyone else. I'm so, so sorry..." Jill smiled a little and lifted a hand to touch his cheek weakly.
"It's okay. You... You're their only hope now. Sa... Save them..." she murmured before her eyes fluttered shut and her hand dropped to the ground, limp. Ike cried out in pure grief and he hugged her to him, gently rocking her back and forth as tears streamed down his face.
Cyreus out at sea swam around near the surface antsy to know what was going on with Ike as he didn't hear any new news from him in some time and wondered if there was anything he could do to help. "If only I wasn't stuck in this ocean then I could help in some way." Cyreus stated not knowing that the cities had underground waterways that led to the cities on the land in which Ike's family had been taken too.

Ike just knelt in the rain for the longest time, hugging his friend's lifeless body as he sobbed, surrounded by the carnage the land dwellers had inflicted upon his people. When he finally managed to calm himself down, he slowly let go of Jill, and gently laid her body down. He lifted his face up, letting the rain wash away his tears, and screamed once more before slamming his fist into the dirt and pushing himself back onto his feet. This was a nightmare. He stood, catching his breath for a moment, and then began dragging the bodies into the cave and covering them up as best he could. He knew he had to get to the surviving members of his colony as fast as he could, but he couldn't bear to just leave his fallen friends exposed to the elements. He would have to come back and give them a proper burial later after the rain let up, but he could at least shield them somewhat for now.
When he was done, he stepped back out of the cave, wiping the sweat off his brow. He felt dizzy and unsteady on his feet, and realised he hadn't eaten or drunk water in a long time. He lifted his hands to take off towards the colony in a routine motion, but then remembered he didn't have his wings anymore, and cursed softly. He looked over his shoulder, not recalling seeing any other sets in the caves. The land dwellers must have taken them. He shook his head and looked up at the trees. He could barely see their huts in the pouring rain, but he could tell some of them had been badly damaged by the storm. He started to search the ground below them for anything that might have fallen down, like clothes, or water skins, or food.
Cyreus was worried about Ike not knowing what was going on with him and his people. As such he started to swim in circles on the surface of the water waiting for his return wanting to see him and learn what the situation was. Cyreus sighed as he ruffled his hair. "What is going on with Ike and his tribe, I wish I could go and help him, or that he could come and tell me the situation." Cyreus said as he chewed his bottom lip and seemed antsy.

Spoiler: Looking for some help?
Ike was lucky enough to find a metal box with dried fruits and seeds on the forest floor, and stuck it under his arm. There was no water to be found, so he eventually dropped to his knees and just cupped his hands in the rain to collect enough for him to drink. It took him a while to feel somewhat hydrated again, but he finally shook off his hands and shakily got to his feet again. He looked towards the edge of the forest and sighed softly, trying not to cry. He had no idea how to save his family, no idea what he was supposed to do. He was all alone. His brother would have known what to do. He had always been a better heir to their father's legacy. Ike was just... Ike. He was useless, especially without his wings.
Ike glanced over his shoulder, towards the shore. Maybe... Maybe Cyreus was out there. Maybe he would know what to do. At least he seemed to believe in Ike a lot more than Ike did himself. But could he really afford to spend his precious time stalling? Every minute his family spent in captivity was one too many. They could be dying as he stood there, hesitating. But what was he going to do? Just run into thwir cities? He would get himself killed in an instant. He shook his head and reluctantly turned around, making his way back to the shore. He could only hope Cyreus would know what to do.
When he got to the beach, the softness of the wet sand caught him off guard and he stumbled, almost dropping the box that he still hadn't eaten from. He looked a right mess, his knees scraped from kneeling in the dirt. The rain water was thinning his blood, making it drip down his shins. His eyes looked sunken, and red from crying. He was getting dizzier by the minute, and it showed in his gait.
