I kind of understand that. Does it only apply to himself? Were there parameters to its use? I also think you might mention whatever other character you want to bring back from a dropped thread. It would be fair as I have several characters from dropped threads that I would have been sorry to let go. I will meet mention those too, before having an OOC thread for this, if we will want to still do this.
