Victor nodded his head and looked at Tulay. “Okay, are you sure this is what you want?” He asked her and sighed when she nodded her head. “Okay after this mission we will do it.” He said and turned to Madam. “Okay you are in charge of her now.”
Victor nodded his head and looked at Tulay. “Okay, are you sure this is what you want?” He asked her and sighed when she nodded her head. “Okay after this mission we will do it.” He said and turned to Madam. “Okay you are in charge of her now.”
The Madam looked at Victor for a moment. "Do I understand correctly you still want her to contribute to this mission? Do you trust her to?"
Victor sighed and ran his hands through his hair. “What else could we do? She’s the only other one of ours that is really powerful.” He said and looked at Tulay. Then back at Madam. “You decide what is best.”
The Madam sighed softly to herself and straightened out her jacket. "...Very well. I will have you know I have plenty powerful witches and warlocks in my ranks, but I cannot ignore her bond to Emrys. She'll be a dedicated scryer." The Madam held out her hand to Tulay to guide her outside.
Tulay sniffled and slowly took Madam’s hand. She was defeated. She was “broken in”. Once they were outside she started to cry silently again.
The Madam held her by the hand, very clearly only for the purpose of leading her where she wanted her to go, and with no emotional warmth. She said a quick but polite goodbye to Keith and Eleanor, and gave Victor a look that told him to follow her.
Tulay sniffled and followed, not like she had much of a choice. “I want E-Emrys…” She sobbed out to Madam.
Victor sighed and followed along too. “Romance is out right this moment. We have a mission.” He reminded her and shook his head. “This is why we don’t fall for someone. Our judgement gets impaired.”
