[OOC] The Age of Alchemy [M] [Seras Kitsune and Wattz (W)]

A fantasy setting with a strong focus on alchemy.

When a training alchemist accidentally summons an ancient demon, the two find themselves on the run. Two warring kingdoms would do anything to harness the power of the demon, so they place bounties on the two main characters' heads, and they're forced to run. Meanwhile, the alchemist is trying to find a way to send the demon back home so things can return to normal.

... or at least that's the gist of it . We'll be working it out some more.

Name: Mana Ikutsu
Age: Looks 18 but in reality is a very old demon around 100 years.
Gender: Female

Personality: Tends to be shy, though is a firey bouncy girl around the people she trusts and likes. Is shy because in the demon world one needs to be careful.
Abilities: Controls lightning and fire elements, can make it rain when she's sad.

History: Has always been alone, her mother was a Kitsune who had relations with a human of great power once in Japan. Though after she gave birth to Mana she left her in the underworld to rot. All Mana's life she had been alone and rarely trusted anyone, though because of that Mana developed a cheery outer persona.

Name: Oliver Relson

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: A tall and somewhat stocky boy with curly, unmanageable brunette hair. His eyes are green and his skin is dark. He wears big, baggy clothes with a brown and red color pallet.

Personality: Oliver is a bit of a dunce, to tell the truth. He’s not unlike a wide-eyed puppy dog following the next master’s orders. Despite the fact that he’s quite poor with alchemy, he absolutely loves the subject and goes out of his way to practice. Oliver also loves to collect a variety of trinkets, which he keeps bundled away in his giant satchel. Oliver has developed self-esteem issues because he thinks he’s not intelligent, though he does not like to portray them outwardly.

Abilities: Oliver has the ability to use his alchemy on and off the battlefield as sort of support systems, though he’s not very good at it.

Weapon: He carries around a dingy wooden staff specially made for alchemical magic.

History: Oliver became an apprentice to Master Kane at the age of 15. Though an unusually old age for an apprentice to begin training, his parents decided that it would be a good idea for him to channel his energy into a creative outlet that would hopefully help him also develop a better self-esteem and a better sense of “problem solving”. He’s not exactly the best of apprentices, being both clumsy and inadequate (more inadequate than clumsy) but his master Kane is a big pushover that has a hard time letting his students go, especially if they come equipped with a good old fashioned sob story.
