@Icedream; I hope you get some bites - l love me some D&D, and I love to see others enjoying it too!
D&D by post / text is theoretically possible, but I usually see them fail at the first combat because everything gets slowed down so much. For that reason my personal preference is video call and Roll20.
But speaking of the site Discord, I will mention this thread there as I know there's some D&D fans still kicking around.

I really like running homebrew games but they are a ton of work.
One day I want to do a homebrew 5e spell jammer campaign.
with free time I have now I'm thinking about running a module like tomb of annihilation.
