Opal was laying on a cliff, it had only been about a week since they had come back to this land but for some reason the humans had been unusually hostile since they have arrived. Thanks to this they decided to send a dragon to keep an eye on them and see what was going on. Plus she thought that it was a chance for the young dragon to prove his stuff and show the others his strength. She didn't mind that the young was a half-breed. But couldn't help but wonder how the young one was doing, not wanting any more of the dragons to get hurt.

Ren was laying in the open field, his eyes closed enjoying the sunny day. His friend Luna was nearby preening. While Ren himself had his wings spread out and almost looked as if he was sleeping. He loved the forest and the land near it, it was so peaceful. There were never people arguing or fighting with each other, that would disrupt the beautiful sound that was always carried one the breeze. It was always so relaxing, how could he worry about anything?

Layla was sitting waiting impatiently for her friend, 'where is Saskie?' She thought as her tail moved back and forth causing the bell the ring. She had already caught and eatten breakfast, so she shouldn't have to catch anything infront of her friend. Since last time she had done that it seemed to freak Saskie out, even if she didn't understand why. Layla still didn't want to make her friend feel at unease. She sighed, before stretching out on the branch where she was waiting. It was the same area where they always met, so why was she late? They never had a set time, but Saskie was always there at about the same time. For now she would wait though; in her cat form as per usual.

The War council was meeting that morning, a few people were already there. Though there were also still empty chairs and the meeting would not start until everyone was there. The head of the council sat in a large chair that almost seemed to have horns on it and was also one of the only people who was not tapping their finger impatiently.

Octavia Van Sacrendoff was doing what she normally did, sit at the edge of town talking to herself.

"Do you think something will happen today? It's been a while since something happened...


Hahahaha! You think so? I suppose my knife hasn't gotten dirty in a while.


Perhaps. I do like it when those humans panic. Serves them right.


But who? It's hard to single one out...

I guess they are all the same! You're right."

She decides, a small knife twirling around her finger. The white-haired girl was sitting under a tree, letting her mind become her puppeteer. Her silvery blade cuts through the ground, revealing it's earthy scent.

"Dropped it." She laughs. The sound bounces around, sounding too innocent to be hers.

Gallare was in the same town that the War Council was being held, he had been hired to make sure no unwanted persons would go in. As such, he was on a nearby roof watching the entrance to the council building. He had an eye for discerning between true humans and Human form Dragons. Gallare personally had nothing against dragons, he would work for them just as easily as the humans, just as long as they paid him enough money. He would continue to watch the entrance for as long as the council meeting took.

Fulgur was trying to look as unassuming as possible, while still being recognizable to any guards that might be posted around the councils meeting place. He walked swiftly through the village, avoiding other people. He heard a laugh in the distance, but that wasn't important right now. He had to get to the council meeting before they gave up on him and started without his presence there. He arrived at the building where they were meeting and walked in. He saw that only a few other members were there, he sighed with relief and sat down at one of the chairs.

Saskia ran outside as she realized what time it was. she ran over to Layla and dropped to her knees gazing at the the cat. "I'm so sorry I'm late mother made me try on these horrid dresses they want me to marry one of the people on the war council I just can't though I don't support what they are going to do to all my animal friends in the forest and what they will do to the great beasts if they ever decide to return to claim what once was theirs."

Lilly exited the nursery looking for the other old one who watch over the hatchling and the young dragons who liked to play in the fields below the Den site. "Opal are you alright there is a shifting in the skies foretelling danger why have you not brought the young ones in yet."

Victoria stretched watching with great interest Ren the young eagle-boy and the white falcon.

[Cystile]

Again, her sweet laughter fills the air. "Yes, a most brilliant idea! Chaos shall rain upon these ungrateful humans as the price! The price of dawn is crimson droplets. The dawn of their war has risen, so their crimson droplets of life shall scatter! Oh, how wonderful this shall be! I simply cannot wait!" She continues, dancing through the streets. "And so it shall begin!"

Her knife was hidden, waiting for it's precious time. She notices her opportunity. A woman on the ground picking up her dropped items! How lovely. Octavia Van Sacrendoff gets on her knees to help the poor woman. "Thank yo-" The woman is cut off by her crimson droplets littering the air. Octavia screams bloody murder, looking as if she'd no idea what happened. The woman she was helping falls to the ground, the knife in her back. Octavia Van Sacrendoff strikes again! She made it look like someone threw the knife instead of a stabbing. How wicked of her!

Lilly flew down to the children telling them that it was time to come back into the Den. "come along little ones time to fly back into the den as morning approaches" Lilly watched as the children one by one flew up and into the Den safe and secure.

"Opal please come inside I could use your help to watch over the young ones" Lilly said.

Opal opened her mouth to respond, but before she got a chance Lilly flew down. She simply sighed, when the smaller dragon came back up. Hearing what she said, she sighed again before smiling at the smaller dragon. "Now Lilly becareful or the little ones may think your grumpy just like they believe I am. Also I had just wanted to watch them for a little while, but since that has already been stopped. Then lets go ahead and go inside, getting up with more grace then one would believe a dragon of her age would have. Following the Lilly and the last little one inside.

Luna looked into the forest and landed on a branch looking at the leopard. Ren opened his eyes, when he heard the sound of flapping wings and looked behind him. Seeing that his friend wasn't there, he said up looking around. His face not changing a bit as he called out, "Luna?" Wondering where his friend had disappeared too, since the falcon didn't often leave his side these days. Hearing the falcon cry out from within the forest but not come to him, figured something was going on or he wanted to show him something. So Ren got up folding his wings and headed towards the forest to see what Luna was doing. While the falcon after calling out flitted down to the leopards' head, then went back to preening. As if knowing it wasn't going to do him any harm.

As soon as Saskie appeared she rolled over and jumped on the girls' shoulder rubbing her head against her friends' cheeks. To let her know that it was ok, before jumping off and changing to her human form. "Don't worry things work themselves out. I think humans have always been weird haven't they? They will eventually figure out that they aren't doing the right thing. As for the marriage.... Maybe the guy is cutie?" She ended uncertainly, she really didn't understand marriage other then being permenant mates.

Once everyone was gathered they finnaly started, "as you know the dragons have returned." The head guy started, which was quickly followed by responses by people all around the table. Different ways to possibly attack, trap, trick, or kill the dragons. A few were simply yelling how they would not give up their land to some overgrown lizards. Once thing was clear the people in that room had a deep hatred for dragons. The head let them go on for a while, "I understand where everyone is coming from. But since these are ancient beasts that we are up against, we must move carefully or else who knows what will happen. First we must figure out where they are staying and if there is more then one group. As well as how many of them there are." He said looking at each and everyone at the table with a serious look.

Saskia shock her head "I don't think so Layla most are old but I have heard of a younger man but I have never seen him. come on Layla lets go into the woods I saw Ren go in earlier this morning with his pet falcon.

"They may think me grouchy I will just tell them I is my lack of finding a Mate dear Opal" Lilly said."Speaking of which my friend you are older than me and yet you also have no mate how have you survived?" Lilly asked.

Victoria startled as the falcon appeared beside her and looked about nervously looking to see I the boy was still laying down. "Please dear falcon your owner will surely come looking for you I can't risk being found." Victoria pleaded. "Please let me leave their isn't much time.

Vincent the Rainbow Dragon

It was from inside a green slightly cracked crystal Vincent was seemingly peering at the world. But he was asleep within, just like he had been for thousands of years. The crystal was partly overgrown and seemingly rooted within the forest but concealed from direct sight. Only smaller forest critters made their way inside there and most of then had at some point nedted up around the crystal as it had been natural for as long as they had lived.

Yet today was the day, that the crystal would crack more than before, and suddenly as the critters fled the crystal would explode in a cascade of pieces and light. And from within The dragon would emmerge. At first it took Vincent a while to regain his bearings and soon he morphed back to human form as he walked out from the hollow. He looked around and could not recognize anything within range, it was like if he had awoken to a new world.


Stretching out he would peer around before deciding to not overthink things as of now. Yet he was unsure where to go and thus he but followed the natural trail of the forest until reaching the edge. There he was lucky to see a field and by following the field he would reach a farm. Once at the farm he would ask for directionss to town while calling himself a lost traveled.


Then he thanked them and headed towards where they had shown...

Flaiifie The Ruby Emperor Dragon

In a small natural cave, a rather large crystal was hidden.the crystal was almost crimaon red in color yet held something almost pitch black inside. This crystal had remained here for thousands of years, yet now it had been found by a young boy that had been exploring these natural caves for a long time. Yet now he had found an unbelievable treasure that glowed in the dark. Curiosity driving him, he touched the crystal and suddenly the cabern was filled by a strong Red light that blinded the boy temporarily and making him scream out in shock and pain.

Yet as soon as the light dissipated the crystal was gone and the caverns now returned to pitch black. The boy whom had been blinded had no way of seeing, and so far only curiosity had driven him to follow the strange light tjat had bounced one the walls of the tight cave. Now he was scared and gasped loudly as he slightly paniced from the darkness blinding him.

It was then he felt something warm but scaly, at first he was surprised secondly he thought it was some kind of large cave lizard... But no, it laid still, and for a while even thoguht the boy found it strange that it didn't seem to want to harm him, the presence of the lizard gave him comfort. He decided to gently pat it, and slowly but surely he realized that it must be sleeping. He also discovered that ot had wings and what felt like horns and soon he realized that it most surely had to be a dragon that he had but heard of in stories.

He felt glad, and for some reason he started feeling more courage than before. And eventually He held the Drsgon close to him as he gently tried to awaken it...

Flaffy groaned and wiggled her nose as a childs hand brushed over her flank, making her tail slightly trash over the floor as she felt a kind of mixed sensation of weird and comfort. As she opened her eyes the caverns filled with a Ruby like glow as her large Ruby eyes perfectly glowed in the dark. The boy seemed surprised at first but Flaffy remained calm until the boy got calm again, she had no idea whom he was, yet his scent and presence also gave her comfort.

She pushed her nose towards him, and soon found herself half within his lap as she simply was drawn closer to him. She had no idea where she was, but she felt like this child didnt want to harm her and also felt safe by her own side. She gave a soft sqeak after a while as she awoke fully, then she crawled towards the faint scent of fresh wind that entered through the hollow. And the boy seemed to follow her, she didnt really mind as he seemed to be nice and thus she waited for him. Eventually she led him out of there and once outside they both looked at eachother for the longest of times with the curiosity of children. It was like in their gaze there was no need for words, and they undersood that they were now friends. But after a while Flaffy crawled up upon the rocks to gain some leverage before screeching out to the skies. "Mother!... MOMMY!? MOMMY WHERE ARE YOU?!" she screeched while hoping for a reply.
