What happens when the world you know has been sunk so far into destruction and madness that it can no longer pick itself up? In the year 2020 nuclear war gripped the world as a third World War was initiated and ran for 10 years before a stalemate came to being. Emerging from the war China, Russia, and the UK rose as the only three nations to still have a functioning economy whereas the mega-power known as the United States was devastated both structurally and economically. The world has not been the same ever since as small civil wars still rage across the world from the Middle East and in European nations. In order to bring the world back to order a new government emerged in 2035 run by the same three nations who emerged victorious in WWIII; China, Russian, and the United Kingdom. This government was called the Global United Nations, or GUN. And with this new government formed they also created the global military police that patrols its territories, the Death Watch.

You are one of the few chosen to take part in the Death Watch program. Keeping peace is not an easy task in a world still trying to rip itself apart. However, GUN thinks you have what it takes to take the title as a Watcher. Your name, nationality, religion, anything that makes you a person does not matter here. The only thing that matters is keeping yourself and your comrades alive while also following orders.

Fast forward to 2040. GUN has now taken most of Africa and Asia into their folds with the United States, Australia, and Egypt still being troubled nations. You are a part of a task force given the mission of taking small portions of these nations and giving them control to GUN.

Hello all, let me explain how this RP will work. You and your fellow agents will be deployed to areas of intense violence both within and outside GUN's control. This is a mission based RP and each mission will be its own isolated thing where entire months can pass between missions. In between I encourage player interaction and character development.

Spoiler: Down to the Nitty Gritty Rules 

1. I WILL NOT tolerate hateful, racist, or sexist comments in the OOC. This will get you kicked out ASAP, no questions asked.

2. If you have a problem with a player please do it through PM's. I'd rather not see arguments in the OOC.

3. Do not kill another player unless it is agreed upon by both players.

4. In the end my word is law. If you have a problem with how I ruled a decision or how something played out in the RP I am more than happy to take comments, concerns, and suggestions. This is, after all, a group game.

5. The technology is this RP is slightly futuristic. However, no laser cannons or lightsabers, please.

6. Rules may be added here in the future as I see fit.

7. Ignorance of the rules does not save you from them. I urge everyone to read them.

Michael grew up on tales of how it used to be though. After serving in the regular army for four years Michael was transferred to Death Watch. His superiors believed his combat skills would be beneficial.
