Sequel to the 2014 Best Overall RP and 2015 Best RP to Reach Hall of Fame! (OOC/IC)
Nearly a month has passed since the slaying of the King of Gods.
The gods and goddesses fell from the heavens, causing chaos and strife throughout the multiverse.
Many deities have managed to find a way back to the celestial realms, each with their own set of goals.
Some seek to bring justice upon the Kingslayer. Others seek to claim the empty Throne of Gods. Some are simply trying to survive during these Apocalyptic Times.
Rebellions are rising. Monarchs are falling.
Finally, there is the Divine Deception - and once it is unveiled, the very foundations of the multiverse will quake upon the revelation.
Spoiler: The Five Monarchs
Suriyel was the first deity ever, and He created the Throne of Gods. After creating the Throne, He then created the Five Monarchs.
In the celestial hierarchy system, the Five Monarchs are right beneath the King of Gods. These Monarchs are currently the strongest beings in the multiverse, and each lead their own faction in their respective realm.
Spoiler: Luthious: The Noble of Order
He is known as the right-hand of Suriyel, and is the strongest of the Monarchs. With the death of Suriyel, he is currently the strongest being of the multiverse (and with the death of his brother, Baldarmort, no one can come close to challenge him). He and his faction reside in the heavenly plane, Elysium. Their holy capital is the divine White City. They are the overseers of the planes, ensuring law and justice prevail. They have strict moral codes while valuing truth and compassion. Once in a while, they understand that certain question actions need to be taken in order to enforce the greater good. The Faction of Order is naturally at war with the Faction of Chaos. Luthious himself has the powers of radiant light.
Luthious has a very kind and warm-hearted personality, where many could easily view him as a father figure. Despite the chaos and destruction of the Fall, Luthious remains steadfast and determined to restore Order. He is a sincere and genuine individual, especially towards his companions. However, those that ever cross him will quickly notice his righteous anger, and Luthious will let no one stand in his way.
Spoiler: Harku: The Duke of Freedom
The most intelligent being of all creation. Harku and his faction reside in the futuristic plane, Mechanus. Their capital is the majestic Metropolis. The gods of Freedom are known as creators, tinkers, and truth-seekers. The value personal freedom, life, and the adherence of the law. They are natural allies with the Faction of Order. Harku himself has powers of telepathy. He is currently working with a group of celestials in discovering the identity of the Kingslayer, while fending off the Titans from Metropolis.
Despite being a benevolent Monarch, Harku is surprisingly arrogant and views practically everybody beneath him. Since he does not view anyone as intelligent, it may be difficult trying to communicate with him. However, despite his personality blemishes, Harku is a hard-worker and will always pick the path that is deemed the right one - even if it is not the popular one.
Spoiler: Selrina: The Maiden of Nature (COMATOSE)
One of the most beautiful ladies of creation. Selrina and her faction reside in the nature plane, Avesta. Their capital is the paradise garden, Eden. Selrina's faction focus on maintaining balance between good and evil, life and death, order and chaos. They understand that without one, there can be no other. So they make sure that one will disrupt the equilibrium of the multiverse. Because of their very philosophy, they gain no favors from the Factions of Order and Chaos. Selrina herself is a shapeshifter and has complete control over Nature.
Selrina is currently in a comatose state. She sacrificed much of her life force to open the realm to Averas, which she nearly died from the experience. Instead, she fell into a state of unconsciousness and was carried into the portal leading to Averas, where she has been resting in ever since.
Like her older brother, Luthious, Selrina is a good-hearted person and usually gentle in nature towards her close companions. She tries to distant herself from the political affairs of the Five Monarchs, in an attempt to keep the equilibrium of the Multiverse. She may let her emotions get the best of her at some points, though, including her short-temper. Yet, she is a happy helper, and is always willing to assist others in need.
Spoiler: Malphas: The Duchess of Pain
One of the most corrupted beings of creation. Malphas and her faction reside in the fiery realm, Hades. Their capital is the infernal palace, Tartarus. The Faction of Pain seek their own ends. They view law and chaos unnecessary, and are primarily concerned with their own selfish ambitions. One common goal amongst these gods, is to seek power. They often are allies with the Order of Chaos. Malphas herself has the power to create mind-bending illusions. Selrina has claimed that Malphas is the Kingslayer, which Malphas has yet to deny, but it is known that a single Monarch does not have the power to match the King of Gods.
Malphas is a rather odd character, and often has the attitude of a teenager. She can be quite immature at times, and is practically always vulgar and crude. She enjoys toying with her enemies, and even her fellow Pain deities at some points. She has no concerns about anyone but herself, and is practically a wild-card in the political affair of the Five Monarchs.
Spoiler: Baldramort: The Prince of Chaos (DECEASED)
Sometimes known as the left-hand of Suriyel. He, alongside Luthious, are the strongest Monarchs. Baldramort and his faction reside in the abyssal plane, Carcari. Their capitol is the demonic Black City. The Faction of Chaos is the bane of all that is good and organized. The gods are cruel violent killers that often do not see themselves in error. They promote chaos and destruction only to glorify themselves. They are naturally at war with the Faction of Order. Baldramort himself is the creator of primordial darkness. Ever since the Fall of the Gods, Baldramort has proudly boasted that he personally killed his father, Suriyel.
Baldramort is a very proud and arrogant individual, and he has a no-nonsense attitude towards his followers. He will be quick to dispatch those that cross him, even in the slightest or most trivial manner. He is not the type to play around or waste time. If need be, he will manipulate and/or force others to do his bidding, but he mostly relies on himself to take care of the necessary tasks.
During the battle at his underground temple, beneath the Vatican City, Baldramort was challenged by a group of gods. He easily defeated them, and intended to sacrifice their life force to open the portal to his home realm, Carcari. However, in an unexpected twist, his long-lost son Damian made an appearance and ruined his ritual. Instead, his own lifeforce was sapped, leaving Baldramort defenseless against the group of fallen deities. After losing the battle, Baldramort decided to commit suicide, and would rather die by his own hands then allow a lesser being to take his life. The truth of whether or not he is the actual Kingslayer, may have been lost.
Spoiler: The Multiverse Setting
Spoiler: Elysium
The realm host several angelic and divine cities, with the White City being its capitol. Holy Knights and benevolent souls populate this realm, and strive to maintain peace. Many outsiders are often awestruck by the beauty and serenity of the realm, even the wild creatures are rather passive in nature. The realm also contains tall mountains, a large and mystique sea, and lush green plains.
Spoiler: Mechanus
The industrial world has taken over this realm, with various futuristic cities - like the great Metropolis - scattered across the realm. Hovercrafts, lightspeed trains, and amazing luxuries are offered on this realm. There is still quite a large portion of nature, but mostly barren lands and a few lakes.
Spoiler: Averas
The realm of Averas is a complete paradise in nature. Lively forests with innocent animals, cascading waterfalls, and the sweet aroma of various plant life can soothe even the most anxious of souls. The legendary garden of Eden resides at the center of the realm, along with the Tree of Life known as Gaia. However, even in this so-called paradise, there are a few dark spots scattered throughout this realm. Dark and forbidden forests, and abandoned ruins share a story of a time long passed.
Spoiler: Hades
The realm of Hades is fiery in nature, lava and flames cover practical the majority of the realm. There are dozens of towns and villages residing on the safe-spots of the realm, but dark creatures like dragons are known to fly across and make their homes in volcanoes. The capitol, Tartarus, is an underground city that dwells within a colossal pit, with built-in walls surrounding the pit to prevent the lava flowing into the city. At the bottom of the pit is a fighting arena, where Malphas forces her prisoners to battle each other to the death in a gladiator-like manner.
Spoiler: Carcari
The dark realm of Carcari is the home to the worst nightmares ever created in the multiverse. The Grey Plains fill the realm, which is set under a permanent night sky. The Black City houses many demonic beings, and also houses countless prisoners that are tortured on a daily basis. Several other dark cities and towns also populate the realm, along with deep canyons and crevices that lead into the abyss. A large and forbidding sea can also be found, but hardly anyone dares to venture into the dangerous waters.
Spoiler: Pandemonium
Pandemonium is the mysterious sixth realm of the multiverse... and also the afterlife for the celestials. Most of the Pandemonium realm is composed of a grey wasteland, covered by a light mist. There always seems to be a loud storm at a distance, but one that can never be reached. A bright red moon hovers in the dark sky, and seeming to be directly above a tall and mysterious tower. There are a few abandoned small towns in this realm, but the mysterious Pandemonium is mostly vacant of any life presence.
Spoiler: Summary of the First RP
The King of Gods was slain, the Five Monarchs went missing, and the celestials fell from the heavens and onto the realm of Earth.
Chaos and destruction soon followed, as Earth became a warzone between all of the fallen gods and goddesses. There were countless casualties, as celestials and humans alike were caught in the crossfire of several battles.
The Five Monarchs appeared once more, gathering supporters in their desperate attempt to return to the Five Celestial Realms - and follow their own agendas during these chaotic times.
Luthious, the Noble of Order, gathered several followers - at the United States - to restore the Order of the multiverse. These followers were instructed to find the portal to Mechanus inside of New York City, and find Harku at Metropolis. There, Harku is working to discover the identity of the Kingslayer and assist Luthious in bringing justice.
During their travels, the group of gods encountered the demigods. The demigods, lead by the cunning Colonel Hawkins, were celestials all over the world in an act of revenge. The demigods were abandoned countless years ago, and they swore to take the celestial realms for themselves and claim the empty Throne as their own. Colonel Hawkins himself was revealed to be the bastard son of Suriyel, the King of Gods - and it was Hawkins's intention to take his father's place and allow the demigods to be the new rulers of the celestial realms.
Finally, after several battle with the demigods, the group of deities were finally victorious with the slaying of Colonel Hawkins. The surviving few demigods scattered upon the death of their leader, leaving the likes of Lt. Cabal to take the mantle of leadership.
The group of deities entered the portal of Mechanus, beginning a brand new journey in Mechanus. However, this isn't just the story of one group of deities...
Selrina, the Maiden of Balance, gathered several of her close companions and traveled with across the United Kingdom. They battled all sorts of beings - from fallen celestials, to rabid cerberi, and even had a few short encounters with the law enforcement. However, only one force proved detrimental to this group... Diz.
Diz, the God of Ruin, is a very mysterious being and nearly as ancient as the Five Monarchs. He is gathering a large force of celestials on a quest to vanquish the Five Monarchs. He has ambitions to bring a brand new era upon the multiverse: one without the King of Gods, the Monarchs, or even the Throne. And his first target: Selrina.
Diz and his followers caused quite a few deaths in Selria's group - disheartening the the Monarch. Yet, she remained determined in her goal of restoring the Balance of her multiverse. At Stonehenge, she began to perform a ritual that required most of her lifeforce - disregarding the wishes of her companions. It was their goal to restore the Balance - and they needed to do it... with or without Selrina.
The ritual left Selrina in a vulnerable state, and Diz took advantage of the opportunity by sending an Abomination to kill her. The group valiantly defended the Maiden, despite another death of a close companion, and ultimately managed to prevail against the monster. After the battle, Selrina was left in a comatose - but her followers carried her into the portal and intend to get rid of the corruption in Averas and restore the Balance.
Diz is still out there, though... and he will not rest until his ambition is completed.
Finally, there is one more story left to be told.
Baldramort, the Prince of Chaos, gathered a group of malevolent gods to carry out his own agenda of returning to Carcari. In order for the portal to be opened, he required the heart of an innocent goddess.
He set the group of gods across Russia in their search for the innocent goddess. During their travels, the group met some resistance by the demigods that were out in Russia. The demigods even awakened a hibernating dragon, the Destroyer, and set it off to kill the celestials. The malevolent deities managed to defeat the dragon, and their travels brought them to the States. They encountered more of the demigod forces, including Hawkins himself, but they finally found and killed the innocent goddess they were looking for.
They returned back to Vatican City, intending to meet Baldramort at his underground temple. However, they were not there to hand over the heart to him - but to kill the Prince himself and rid themselves of his control. They engaged in an epic battle with the Monarch - but it was completely one-sided.
After disabling all of the deities, Baldramort began a ritual to sap their lifeforce and open up the portal to Carcari - considering that they decided to destroy the innocent goddess's heart. However, at the very last second of the ritual - it was interrupted by another deity, the offspring of Baldramort himself.
Damian, the God of the Apocalypse, was prophesied to bring the End of Times upon the multiverse. In an attempt to defy fate, his mother left the infant Damian in a forest to be eaten by wolves - and both of his parents believed that he was dead. Yet, somehow Damian survived, and begins his act of vengeance upon his own father.
He disrupts the ritual, and turns its effects right back on Baldramort which drained most of his lifeforce away. Baldramort was left in a weakened state, and left the group of deities to finish off his father. There was another battle between the two forces, but this time, the group was victorious and Baldramort was slain. The first Monarch fell, and the portal to Carcari opened, allowing the deities to continue their conquest and dark ambitions.
One question still remains: who is the Kingslayer? Who is powerful enough to slay the King of Gods himself?
And what is the Kingslayer's goal now?
Spoiler: Rules and Expectations
Standard RPA rules apply, please do not godmod/metamod/powerplay. These kinds of things are never fun.
Please respect all players. The words of the GM and Co-GMs are law. The Co-GMs are as followed: TheDoctor and Beta
No OOC fighting. Discussions are always welcome, but harshly attacking another person will receive swift and brutal judgment.
Romance and swearing is fine. Just don't take it to the extreme. Don't curse practically every other word. If things get steamy, please do it tastefully (fade-to-black/take it to the PMs if necessary).
Returning players are privileged to play 2 main characters in this chapter, due to completing the previous chapter with me. New players are currently limited to 1. However, if either returning/new have a very strong desire to exceed the character limit, please message me about it and then we can discuss about the matter. Players are welcomed to create minor NPC characters throughout the story.
This RP took a considerable amount of work to create, and due to its ambitious nature, it does demand for quality work. Two paragraphs for each IC post is the recommended minimum. I would like to encourage those that struggle with this to please challenge themselves into creating outstanding posts. This rule is not strict with dialogue exchange, but making a co-post would be incredibly useful. Minor issues with spelling and grammar are perfectly acceptable, but please don't make it unbearable.
Once you create your character, myself and my fellow CO-GMs will make a final decision on which group your character is placed in. We consider many factors: from personality, powers, faction, history, etc. However, if you have a preference on which group you want to be placed in, then please let me know and we will definitely take it into consideration! I will be leading Group A, Doc will be leading Group B, and Beta will be leading Group C!
Returning players, I would like to see your CSs appropriately updated after the last RP. Don't just cut and paste your work!
If you have trouble creating a post, please ask myself, a co-gm, or another player to help out. We are all in this together. I'm very willing to help out my fellow players, if you have any issues or have any ideas for the RP, just let me know so we can work it out.
I like to finish what I start, so I request to see committed players joining this story and stay until the very end. If you lose interest for any reasons, or if you are unable to continue posting, that's perfectly fine and no hard feelings. I only ask for you to notify myself or the co-gms so that we can appropriately deal with the matter.
Please do not derail the OOC with menial chatter, there will be some important OOC announcements in the future and I don't want people to miss them. You are welcomed to have conversations related to the RP such as coming up with ideas between characters and such, just do not treat this thread as if it is part of Downtown.
I myself am a rather busy person, but I do my best to get at least 1 post up each week. I have an expectation that you are able to at least post once a week as well. If you need more time, then just please communicate with me and everything should be fine.
If you are going to be inactive for a certain period of time or unable to make a post for at least a week, please PM/VM myself or a fellow co-gm, or make a notification within the OOC thread. That way, we can continue on with the plot without any hindrances.
The final rule and the most important... have fun! Seriously, let your creativity and imagination run wild! Have a freakin' blast!
This impish god has gone through many names throughout the history of mankind. One of the more prominent ones back in the old days was Loki. He is a member of the Balance Faction and resides in the realm of Averas. He is always up to no good, as he's always planning pranks using his explosions to cause mayhem. He has never been caught as he often uses his invisibility to get away from the crime scene. He works for Diz for unknown reasons.
He partnered up with Vin in an attempt to kill Selrina. However, Xele questioned Diz's true motives, and paid the price. He, along with Diz's other minions, were sacrificed to create the Abomination.
Spoiler: Diz: God of Ruin
Diz is one of the most ancient beings of the multiverse. He was one of the first entities to appear shortly after the creation of the Five Monarchs and the Throne of Gods. He has no true home, and has lived a very isolated life. He wandered on his lonesome all over the many celestial planes. An aura of dark power surrounds him, and many gods rarely try to raise a conflict with him. The benevolent gods distrust him, and the malevolent gods envy him. He is a being full of mysteries... as his goals were unknown to all even before the fall of the gods.
It seems he is gathering followers to create a celestial revolution. The time of the Monarchs is over, and he plans to bring about a new age within the heavens. He seems to have a wide arsenal of abilities that are practically capable of challenging a Monarch himself - from teleporting another individual against their will, spells that corrupt individuals, to creating powerful Abominations with dark magic.
Spoiler: Morgana: Goddess of Truth
Of the faction of Order, Morgana is innately capable of telling when someone is lying. Her lance glimmers with holy light, which burns like white hot fire and instantly cauterizes wounds. It can also summon a blast of blinding light with a simple incantation. Morgana is brash, cocky, and rarely sees the gravity of a given situation.
She assisted Zypher and his group of deities during their plight against the demigods. However, after providing her assistance - Morgana immediately left with other tasked handed by Luthious himself. Now, she currently resides in the White City acting as one of Luthious's personal bodyguards.
Spoiler: Lucielle: Goddess of Desires (DECEASED)
Lucielle resides in the heart of Mechanus and is a part of the Wisdom Faction. She is one of the Ten Councilors, they often meet to discuss the status of all the realms. They often act as peaceful ambassadors and are sent to the other realms in order to find peaceful... or the best... solutions. Lucielle was chosen to become a Council member based upon her blunt but cheerful personality, but mainly because she could see into the deepest desires of a person. She was often useful for discovering a representative's hidden agenda. After the Fall, she can only sense a person's desires based upon how much one wants it. She is well versatile with the bow and magic.
She joined Zypher's group in their quest to open the portal to Mechanus. Unfortunately, she met her end in a battle against the demigods, and was slain by Colonel Hawkins. She more or less sacrificed her own safety to save everyone else from the onslaught.
Spoiler: Iravelle: The Goddess of Innocence (DECEASED)
Iravelle was a goddess of innocence, and had the incredible powers of healing others with her purity. However, she was shortly captured after the Fall by Colonel Hawkins and his minions. Her mind was warped, and soon became a servant and a spy for the demigods. She infiltrated Zypher's party, and betrayed them in a critical battle. However, she was shortly killed by one of the people she saved in her lucid state, by the Void lord himself.
Spoiler: Damian: God of the Apocalypse
The long lost son of Baldramort, the Prince of Chaos... and Jaslyn, the Goddess of Indulgence. The circumstances surrounding his birth revolved around deceit and a prophecy... a revelation... that this child will bring doom to all of the multiverse. Out of fear, Jaslyn left behind her beloved infant in the middle of a forest, and he was thought to be eaten by the wolves inhabiting the area. Apparently, that is not the case, and Damian is very much alive and finally ready to enact his vengeance. Is he responsible for the death of Suriyel and the Fall of the Gods?
Regardless, Damian's powers are mostly unknown, but the abilities of a deity of the Apocalypse would know no bounds.
Spoiler: Apollyon: God of Calamity
Apollyon is an elder god that died many eons - in a war long-forgotten. Perhaps he hailed from the fiery realms of Hades, or the dark abyss of Carcari. Even he no longer remembers, after spending what seemed nearly an eternity in Pandemonium - Apollyon has lost his mind and is basically in a feral state. He wanders around aimlessly, slaying and devouring anything that comes across his way. Apollyon carries around the large blade for combat, but he utilizes destructive energy - shooting out sphere of destruction from his fingertips or even a ray of death from his maw.
Spoiler: Demigods
Spoiler: Colonel Anthony Hawkins "Hawk" (DECEASED)
A Colonel of the United States Airforce. He rose through the officer ranks quickly and became a young prodigy. He has mysterious ambitions that involve setting a nuclear explosion upon Russia and destroying the elder gods there. How does he know about the existence of the gods in the first place, does he have a connection to their fall?
It turns out, Colonel Hawkins is the bastard son of the King himself, Suriyel. He is the strongest demigod, and has the powers of omniscience to see into another's past. He also has the deadly ability of absorbing a slain god's powers by drinking their blood. He continues growing powerful with each kill, and will soon be unmatched with his might.
In the final battle at New York City, Hawkins faced against multiple deities, but the ones that gave him most trouble were Spero and Zypher. Both of them awakened their inner powers, and with their combined might, they managed to slay the almighty demigod and his scheme to take his father's throne.
Spoiler: Lt. Raver (DECEASED)
Lt. Raver was formerly the leader of Unit 9, and was the strongest demigod working for Colonel Hawkins. Many considered Lt. Raver as the Colonel's right-hand man, and was the main trainer for the humans in their inevitable battle against the deities. In combat, Lt. Raver seemed to enjoy toying with his enemies and looks down upon them. However, after the Fall, Lt. Raver met an early demise by the hands of Zypher, Jonas, and Lucielle.
Spoiler: Lieutenant Kholer (DECEASED)
Lieutenant Kholer is a demigod with the ability to turn her skin into a substance harder than diamond and more durable than steel. She stands at about 5'9" and is extraordinarily proficient with a sword. This became noticed by somebody high-up in a different branch of the military, and she was immediately recruited for their cause. She knows very little of what that cause is, but she follows it nonetheless.
She is one of Hawkin's underlings, and lead Unit 5 against the elderly gods; Vantas and Cruor. However, her squadron was decimated in battle, and Kholer killed herself before she could manage to reveal any information.
Spoiler: Lieutenant Cabal
Cabal was the leader of Unit 8 before it was demolished by the gods. He is the Demigod of Dimensions, and therefore has the power to teleport. He is committed to the goal of the Demigods in their attempt to claim the celestial realms as their own. Now that his reputation is tarnished with the failure of his last mission and the death of his companion, Raver, he has a lot to make up for. However, he is fully determined to redeem himself and have vengeance upon those that did him wrong.
Ever since the death of Colonel Hawkins, Lt. Cabal has more-or-less, taken the mantle to lead the demigods and their ambition to take over the celestial realms.
Spoiler: Lieutenant Ember (DECEASED)
Lieutenant Ember is a very prideful warrior, and considers practically everybody beneath her. Other than, of course, her commanding officers. She is the leader of Unit 7, and was the forth strongest demigod. Now, with Raver's recent death, she climbed the ranks and is only behind Lt. Cabal and Colonel Hawkins. Her origins are shrouded in mystery, but she has been known to be around since Arthurian Times.
She fought alongside with her leader, Colonel Hawkins, at the final battle of New York City. Her squadron tackled on Danero, while Lt. Ember was involved in an epic one-on-one battle with Jaslyn. By the end of the battle, it seemed Jaslyn was victorious by inflicting fatal blows to Ember, but the demigod used a grenade at the last second to kill herself and took down Jaslyn with her.
Spoiler: Lieutenant Tyrace (DECEASED)
Lieutenant Tyrace is a faithful soldier of the United States Air Force, and more importantly, a proud demigod serving under the leadership of Colonel Hawkins. Lt. Tyrace is the leader of Unit 4, but don't underestimate him because of his rank. He is known for his superior physical strength, and many ancient legends revolve around his story. This includes one of the most famous heroic tales of them all, the almighty champion known as Hercules.
At the final battle of New York City, Tyrace fought alongside with his leader, Colonel Hawkins. Tyrace faced against Spero and Kai, overwhelming them with his massive physical strength. However, his fatal mistake was leaving his guard down, and Kai finished with a punch that broke his spine.
Spoiler: Titans
Spoiler: Goliath
Goliath is a third generation unit of the Titan race, the youngest generation. However, even though he is relatively young compared to the rest of his superiors, Goliath is not a being to be underestimated. He towers over humanoid figures by standing at the height of nearly three stories (30 feet), and his sheer physical strength can challenge several deities at once. He wields a large mechanical blade, and can easily decimate an entire building with a single swipe.
Spoiler: Grizzly
Grizzly is a third-generation unit of the Titan race, a part of the youngest generation, and stands at the height of 20 feet. Yet, he has incredibly damaging capability with basically an armory at his disposal. Missiles on his right shoulder, a chainsaw on his left arm, a machine gun on his right... The Titan is capable of challenging multiple deities at once, and prefers to combat his foes alone.
Spoiler: Beastiary
Spoiler: ToG1 Beastiary
Spoiler: Cerberi
These monsters originated from the Gray Wastelands of Carcari. Long ago, a few packs of them escaped from the celestial planes and found themselves wandering in the ancient sewers of England for centuries. They have been preying upon slops, vermin, and the occasional wandering humans. Their appetites have never been sated, and they have only become more blood-thirsty.
Spoiler: The Destroyer (DECEASED)
The Dragons found their way upon the earthrealm during the medieval ages. It seemed that end of the world has come for the humans as the dragons laid waste to their beloved cities. However, the Gods of the celestial realms and their children, the Demi-Gods of Earth, joined forces and fought against the dragons. It was a long and bloody war, but they managed to drive back the majority of the dragons back into the celestial realms and imprisoned them. Then, they purged the remaining dragons at earth. However, one dragon was kept alive in secret by the Demi-Gods. They used their powers to put the abomination into a deep slumber at the country that is now known as Russia, where the creature slept for several centuries. It seemed the creature was kept alive for only one purpose: to destroy.
The Destroyer was involved in an epic combat with several powerful deities, but was ultimately destroyed after one of them ripped the dragon apart from the inside-out.
Spoiler: The Abomination
An unholy being that should never exist. A monstrosity created by the taint of Ruin and the lives of the celestials, this creature will obey its master without question. A perfect killing machine, its powers of corruption will destroy all in its path. Its hunger for death and decay will never be sated, because this creature will live in eternal torment because of its very nature.
An Abomination battled a group of deities protecting the Monarch, Selrina. The beast ultimately met its end after a long, hard-fought battle. However, it was revealed that Diz still has dozens of these monstrosities still under his control and ready to kill.
Spoiler: Zadkiel
A mysterious creature from the Astral Realm, summoned by Spero - the Goddess of the Unknown - during the battle against Colonel Hawkins. This ethereal being displayed outstanding fighting capability with its superb speed and deadly obsidian lance. It easily overwhelmed even the powerful demigod, but unfortunately Zadkiel's time on the mortal realm is extremely limited and can only reside there for approximately five minutes. He quickly returned to the Astral Realm, before the battle was even over.
Spoiler: Pandemonium
Spoiler: The Tormented
The tormented are souls of long-dead gods and other various beings unfortunate enough to end up in Pandemonium. They are greatly weakened by their time wandering the realm, but can be a threat in large groups should anyone draw their ire. Most are content to shy away from fighting as it only causes them more suffering... but the truly desperate ones seek release above all else and actively seek out their true death.
Spoiler: Averas
Spoiler: The Ehlven
The commonly fantasized elves of many Earth-born tales, the Ehlven are denizens of the Averas. They are in tune with their environments and with the animals of the realm and are a people that eschew combat unless absolutely necessary, preferring to let things happen as they would happen.
Spoiler: Carcari
Spoiler: Deva
Denizens of Carceri, the Deva are often quick to anger and ready for a fight. Both male and female Deva have horned skulls with slightly elongated and pointed ears. Many Deva think they were once Ehlven, but none can prove this theory. As of late, more and more Deva have been vying for power, hearing rumors of the gods who rule their realm having fallen from grace.
Spoiler: Hades
Spoiler: Consumed
Consumed are the malign residents of Hades. They are born knowing only pain and hunger, and only through consuming other creatures will their pain temporarily subside. They are not dangerous to a god unless many consumed pool their efforts. God-flesh causes their pain to vanish for many years, and so there have been many instances of Consumed attempting to hunt the divine.
Spoiler: Mechanus
Spoiler: Homunculi
While not homunculi in the traditional sense, these partially (sometimes fully) mechanical inhabitants of Mechanus are a friendly and generally peaceful sort. Capable of crafting many of the great works within their realm, they are the favored children of Harku and comprise the majority of life in Mechanus' great cities. They have not been tested by the fires of war, but many have been preparing for conflict since the fall of the Gods.

Calling the realm of Elysium their home, the Archons are a strict and almost militaristic race of humanoids. After the fall, many were drafted into service to create a standing force should the other realms decide to invade. They have not yet needed this force, but nearly all Archons stand ready to defend their realm to their dying breath.

Spoiler: Zypher: God of Purification
Name: Zypher
Gender: Male
Age: 2,400 years old
Appearance:
Spoiler: Zypher
Zypher has the appearance of a young human adult in his twenties. He has pure-white blonde hair that’s a bit messy in style. His body is naturally lean and toned. He has a scar across his chest, a claw mark, from a battle with a previous god.
God of: Purification
Faction: Order
Powers:
Zypher has the power to manipulate Holy Fire. The flames of Holy Fire are golden in color. Its effective against evildoers such as demonic beings and sinful creatures. The flames themselves cause cause scorching pain to a mundane human, but instead of burning them, it purifies the darkness within. The flames do cause harm against demonic beings, as the divine fire scorches through their very essence. When the flames are used against a neutral or benevolent super-being, it acts like regular fire.
Now that Zypher has regained his godly grace, his physical prowess and fire manipulation abilities have extraordinarily increased. During the Fall, he was only limited to shooting fireballs or form flame-swords, but now he is fully capable of unleashing blazing torrents and destructive blasts.
Zypher, like most of his faction, is a noble being. He is kindhearted and has a strong sense for justice. He is a loyal soldier of the Order. He is willing to lay his life on the line to save others. However, he doesn’t necessarily believe in sacrificing others for the greater good. He always believe that there is more than one way to solve a problem, and will be determined to find the best solution. Even though he is an idealistic person, he is not naive.
While traveling during the Fall, Zypher's sharp temper returned and he often lashed out at others, letting his emotions get the best of him. However, after his near-death experience in his final battle with Colonel Hawkins, Zypher intends to be righteous, but no longer vengeful. He will do his best to control his anger, for the sake of those that he lost. In this manner, Zypher is striving to become a better man than he was before.
Background:
Zypher’s place of birth was in the White City itself. He, like the rest of his fellow gods, were trained to become overseers of justice. After a hundred years of training, he was ready for war. Unfortunately, before his first battle, Zypher learned that his divine parents were slain by the Faction of Chaos. Anger and grief consumed Zypher, and he was filled with the need for vengeance. He, along with a dozen other deities of the White City, went against the orders of their commander and invaded the dark realm of Carcari.
Zypher and his fellow gods fought bravely against the onslaught at the Gray Wastes, but they were rapidly dying one after the other. In the end, Zypher was the only one left, and he was outnumbered. He retreated and went into hiding. He didn’t know how long he was running in Carcari, for it seemed like an eternity. One day, a group of benevolent gods appeared high up in the sky, and rescued Zypher. He returned home back to the White City, and was presented to Luthious himself. Zypher expected to be scolded and punished by the Noble of Order. He knew that his rash actions caused the deaths of his companions. He was completely shocked when Luthious embraced him in his arms. From then on, Luthious became a father figure to Zypher.
Zypher continued fighting for the cause of Order, battling across the multiverse and against several of the darkest deities out there. He had several skirmishes with one such god known as Vantas - Lord of the Void. He also established a romantic connection with Lucielle, the Goddess of Desires, but ultimately that relationship fell apart with the death of her beloved father.
By the time Zypher turned 400, Luthious assigned the young god another task - to purify souls. At the time, an abounding amount of humans were seeking salvation through a benevolent faith system, and Zypher's duty was to purify those that were sincere in their prayers. He continued this task for the next 2000 years, despite the dramatic decrease in human souls being welcomed into Elysium, and many of them being sent to the dark planes instead.
During the Fall of the Gods, Zypher was enlisted by Luthious to aid him in restoring the Order of the multiverse. Zypher traveled across the States searching for the portal into Mechanus. He battled against the demigods, reconnected with Lucielle shortly before witnessing her death, and was at death's door at one point before having his godly grace returned.
Now, Zypher resides in the city of Metropolis, assisting the Duke with many tasks in hopes of discovering the Kingslayer and stopping the madness of Chaos even further.
Spoiler: Azazel: God of Corruption
Name: Azazel
Gender: Male
Age: 1,970 years old
Appearance:
Spoiler: Azazel
Azazel has the built of a lean and toned individual, and standing at the height of 5'10''. He has crimson-red hair with raven-black strands, along with glowing red-eyes that can discomfort even other malevolent deities. He often wields his weapon on his right hand, and his left hand is adorned with a claw-like gauntlet. He has pale-white skin, and always has a devious smile upon his face.
God of: Corruption
Faction: Chaos
Powers:
Azazel has the unique ability of manipulating blood, specifically his own blood. By creating a wound (either by self-infliction or injury in combat), Azazel can summon the blood and gather it up to form many constructs. The blood constructs can range from weapons like swords or whips, or projectiles that can cause severe blunt or sharp trauma. He can be severely weakened if low on blood supply, but he can regenerate if he drinks from the blood of others - or refrains from using his powers after a period of time. This would be a relatively rare incident, though, due to the nature of his powers - Azazel has a much higher blood amount compared to the average individual.
Azazel also has the capability of corrupting good-natured individuals. By inflicting bleeding wounds with his own blood - the personality of those that suffer these injuries tend to darken and sometimes be even more sinful. These effects are often temporary, but in the right circumstances - Azazel can totally warp the brightest angel into the darkest demon.
Azazel is a very cocky and arrogant individual. He places full confidence in his own abilities to take care of any situation, regardless of the challenge. He is rather vulgar and condescending in nature, and can be quick to insult another person. Even though he is a malevolent entity - he prides himself with traits such as loyalty and trustworthiness. Yet, one past action constantly haunts him - and often leads Azazel to self-reflect upon his fate.
Background:
Corruption is practically a timeless concept, yet Azazel is a relatively young-deity. This is mainly because his predecessor, Belial, was slain by an Order deity. After the death of Belial, a new God of Corruption was born and took his place. Azazel's existence began in the dark planes of Carcari, where he resided in another demonic city known as Gehenna.
By taking the mantle of the new God of Corruption, Azazel was responsibe for turning good-natured individuals into darker beings. He tended to toy with the humans of the earthen realm, but in some cases - he was brought into the Black City to corrupt special deities and bolster their own demonic ranks.
At one point, Azazel has abandoned his responsibilities and left Carcari to wander around the mundane earthen realm - among the humans. Many question his reasoning, but many often believed that Azazel feared to join the same fate of his predecessor, Belial. He resided on the earthen realm for several decades, before ultimately being enlisted by the powerful dark deity known as Erebus: The God of Terror.
Ever since the Fall, Azazel is still working for Erebus - although, for what cause?
Powers: Cruor's abilities stem from the blood of others. As a god of bloodshed in such a violent age, Cruor often has a difficulty controlling his base desires and thus uses his abilities more often than many other deities. His bloodlust is not based on war, however. War is not his domain. Even a teen on the run who kills a man in a botched robbery is appealing to Cruor. Be it bloodshed for a cause, bloodshed by accident, or bloodshed for the sake of bloodshed, Cruor is turned on by it all. Additionally, the more powerful the being whose blood he takes in, the stronger the benefit Cruor receives.
Enhanced Speed and Perception: Cruor has regained his Godly senses in the realm of Pandaemonium. His eyesight is incredibly precise, allowing him to pick up minute movements or details both in a fight and in pursuit of someone/something. In addition, his speed is well above that of any mortal man. He is not suited for raw bursts of speed for running or movement, but in regard to reaction time and brief flurries of attacks. So much so that he could possibly react to a bullet being fired ten feet from him, or cut a head of lettuce to tiny ribbons in around a second. If he smears the blood of a powerful creature in his eyes, his divine senses sharpen even further, causing his perception of time to slow by a factor of around 50% and his reflexes to adjust proportionately. As a result, Cruor is a daunting foe in any combat situation.
Regeneration: Cruor regenerates wounds at a significantly accelerated rate compared to other deities. As a God of Bloodshed, it would be pure folly if he could not endure injuries and cause more of the very thing he represents, after all. Simple cuts and scrapes heal near instantly, deep gashes and gunshot wounds take mere seconds to close, severe injuries such as broken bones and severed arteries will repair in well under a minute, and missing limbs will fully regenerate within three hours if the limb is not reattached. Should it be held up to the severed stump, the removed limb will reattach in under a minute. This regeneration is in addition to the moderate resistance to damage he has at all times due to his status as a god. Consuming the blood of powerful creatures or other gods further improves this healing even further, bolstering the beliefs of many gods who think Cruor is nigh-impossible to kill.
Shapechanging: When tasting the blood of others, Cruor may choose to briefly assume their form. For every 5ml ingested, he may assume the person's form for one day. He also gains memory of that person's last week, to further cement his disguise and shrug off suspicion.
Weapons: A pair of Boot Knives, a Sawn-Off Pump-Action Shotgun, Garrote Wire, and a single glass vial containing the blood of "The Destroyer".(worn as a pendant) <- See Throne of Gods: Part One.
Personality: It could be said that Cruor is insane. It could be said he enjoys seeing people hurt. Hell, it could even be said he gets off on it. All these things and more are true about the god of Bloodshed. While not inherently cruel, Cruor DOES enjoy seeing pain and bloodshed. A man being held up excites him, if only for the possibility that man's lovely sanguine fluid might be spattered on the wall in the next moment. However, he is just as able to carry on a conversation as anyone else in the world, albeit he does tend to steer things in a more macabre direction fairly often.
However, he has been known to have a much more calm and reserved side. There are some who remember what he once was, but most do not speak of it as a result of the monster he has become.
Background: Cruor's origins are actually unclear to him. He knows his parent deities and cares very little about them, and has never cared enough to ask about the distant past. Last thing he really remembers is killing a few dozen men in the old Roman empire. What he does not know is that he was once a member of the Balance faction of gods. Bloodshed being used in medicine, spilled to save lives and sustain lives, and blood is even lost in the creation of life, during childbirth. Only as a result of human society (and his mother's violent influences) was his purpose twisted into what it has become.
He loves pain, sure. He loves violence, sure. But above all, he loves to see blood spilled as a result of violence. Of course, while he enjoys seeing the horrors of war, he doesn't quite 'get off' on it like he would seeing a man assassinate a prominent figure in cold blood. In war, people are expected, even told to kill and shed blood. Outside war, it's considered a sin to kill, punished, and persecuted. THAT is what Cruor gets off on. ... sometimes literally.
Cruor was there when Commodus was killed by his wife. He was there when Kennedy was shot. But with the fall of the King of Gods, Cruor received an immense boost to his abilities. However, the boost was as brief as it was large, as he fell to Earth in that same instant and lost nearly all of his power. Now Cruor has found his ability to foresee and travel to the sites of prominent events of death and bloodshed has waned, and he can't even persuade people to take a stab at each other anymore. This has pissed him off to no end and allowed, in his mind at least, other formerly divine beings to re-assert dominance over him.
After the fall, Cruor joined up with the Void Lord, Vantas. The two had a merry time fighting the various people who got in their way, and eventually met up with the Goddess of the Mind, Kavi. The three then fought an ancient draconic creature known as the "Destroyer". Some destroyer... the creature fell before the might of the fallen gods and Cruor took some of its blood, knowing its power would serve him well in the future. Vantas was spirited away by the dying dragon, leaving Cruor and Kavi to follow some time later via plane.
Upon arriving in New York City, the trio was reunited. Also in attendance was a veritable cornucopia of other fallen gods. Among these divine beings was Cruor's blood-brother, Jonas, who elected to join the trio of malcontents in their journey to slay one of the Monarchs of the Gods.
The ensuing battle in the catacombs of the Vatican was incredibly destructive and massive in scale for deities so weakened from their original power. Cruor was forced to consume the essence of the Destroyer, and fought the monarch known as Baldramort even as his body was torn apart by the destructive energies he had taken into himself. Vantas, Kavi, and Jonas joined in the assault and were ultimately victorious, causing the monarch to take his own life rather than die by the hands of those he felt inferior. However... Cruor was presumed dead, used as a shield by the monarch to deflect a massive attack from Jonas.
It was not to be, however. Rather than greet the reaper, Cruor was sent to a realm where his godly essence would be given a second chance at life. This place would incredibly perilous, but the God of Bloodshed will not be deterred. He will meet this challenge like any other... head on and with his ---- hard as a rock.

Kavi is a slim woman who appears to be in her late teens/early 20s, and stands roughly at 5’4”. She has bright red eyes which are close to the same shade as her hair. Typically she wears clothing much the same as in the image: a simple black shirt and black pants, with thin-soled leather boots.
Goddess of:
The Mind
Faction:
Chaos
Powers:
Kavi has the ability to manipulate the inner workings of the mind. This can result in the loss of particular memories, or even a complete erase of one’s entire memory. It is more taxing for this to be accomplished in full on other deities, and rarely has there been a time when a memory was successfully erased with malicious intent on another God. It’s a tedious process which requires the participant, whether willing or not, to be off guard and/or not fighting what is being done to their minds. She can also manipulate feelings within the mind, either by turning immense pain into pure joy, or causing a person to enter the most depressing state of mind they have ever been in before, but what the person decides to do once Kavi has toyed with their mind is entirely their choice. Again, the effectiveness of the powers depends largely on the vulnerability of the participant. One of her greatest manipulations is telekinesis, being able to lift and throw objects of great sizes and stop objects in midair.
However, after the fall to Earth, Kavi’s powers dwindled to where she could only cause minor amnesia in a person while at a distance from them, and has to be physically touching a person to erase very recent, short events from their memory. She could only slightly influence a person’s feelings, and though she could no longer use her telekinesis on objects around 20x her own size, she was still capable of blocking objects coming towards her and moving objects up to around 5x her own size.
Near the end of Group C’s battle with Baldramort, Kavi revealed the workings of a power she had kept hidden – wanting to master the skill as much as she could, and then use it as a future trump card in more personal battles. The ability is that of psychic constructs, being able to bend and manipulate psychic energy into different forms, such as weapons and items. In its great strength lies great weakness, however, as the wielder must be able to adequately imagine the item desired, and have a deep understanding of how it works. Without this knowledge, constructing the item will be a great challenge, and it is likely to not have the desired outcome. Thus, it requires great dedication and focus just to begin to scratch the surface of such a power; luckily, a God has until the end of time to master their art.
Weapons:
Spoiler: Short twin blades
Personality:
Kavi is extremely hot-headed and rarely backs away from a fight, which can lead her into some difficult situations. This is also due to her cocky and arrogant nature, and is the main reason why she never wears armor. She believes that if she is not good enough to win a fight on her own without the protection of armor, then she deserves to fall. Along with being hot-headed, Kavi can be seductive when it comes to gaining something she wants. A manipulative, arrogant bitch with a heavy chip on her shoulder, she carries a grudge against the Chaos faction and couldn’t care less if all the Gods fell and stayed down in the dirt.
Background:
Kavi was born in the capital of Carcari and was the second born to her father who never kept a woman around for long. Her brother, Drear, was around 200 years older than she was, but they grew up as best friends who trained together daily - rarely leaving one another’s side as they ran amuck throughout Carcari for the next 800 years. This was a problem for their father who felt the two would eventually become too soft due to their close relationship. His main goal was to raise not only the most chaotic child Carcari had ever seen, but to also raise the strongest, and he simply could not have soft feelings getting in the way. So he had a choice, and he decided that with her hot-blooded nature, Kavi was the most likely of his two children to fulfill his goal.
He decided that the death of her best friend would ultimately drive Kavi into the deepest, chaotic rage she would ever enter, and it did. Her father killed her brother before her own eyes on Kavi’s 900th birthday without a second thought, pushing Kavi over the edge. For the next 400 years Kavi brought nothing but chaos and destruction to Carcari before she decided to leave, taking her bottled up anger with her wherever she went. Much of her time was spent on Earth as she began plotting her revenge against her father. While on Earth, she spent time traveling from one end of the world to the other, blending in with the humans who sparked interest within her. Kavi was naturally curious about humans, and slightly envied the natural occurrence of death of their life cycle. When she finally returned to carry out her plans, however, is when the fall of the Gods began and she lost her chance.
Upon falling back to Earth, Kavi was easily able to adapt given her location was back in Russia, where she had taken up a more permanent residence before. She began her own search for more information about the fall of the Gods, trying to locate the one who sparked her interest the most. Unfortunately, discovering the location of her father never happened, and instead she joined with another small group of Gods who had also fallen in the Motherland. The joining was more of a deal, as Diz, an unfamiliar, dark God offered Kavi the information she so desired if she helped Cruor and Vantas succeed in opening the portal back to Carcari. The mission, which was almost a failure at the end, turned into the a battle between Monarch and (ex)followers, with the group of Gods winning, and the portal opening.
Now, Kavi will finally find out if the deal she made with the Devil will actually hold up.

Age: He was never certain of when he truly started existing. When did nothingness begin?
Spoiler: Vantas Appearance
Vantas is a lean man in his (apparent) late 20s/early 30s who stands at a subtle 5'10". He bears distinguishably wavy crimson hair and golden eyes. His attire now consists of a white collared button-down underneath a black leather jacket, very dark navy jeans with a hazel belt, and a pair of laced brown shoes of a similar tone
God/Goddess of: the Void
Faction: Chaos
Powers: Vantas has the ability to manipulate darkness in its purest form. This darkness can be used by conjuring walls, tendrils of pure darkness, etc., from an instance in space. Although they appear physical, they are manifestations of the void and lack material substance, the expression of the paradox he lives by. The Void can also be used to whisper in the minds and hearts of others, for nothingness is not bound by physical or material law.
All of his powers are established by his inner connection to the Void. This connection, once worn so thin to the point that he lost it, has returned stronger than ever. His conviction of the Void's interference with reality is further fueled by occasional whispers from the realm of nothingness, only a small example of the mysteries of the Void.
With his powers now returned to him in the godly realms, Vantas's manipulation of the Void has increased tenfold. After the fall, he was limited to smaller constructions of Void energy. Now, his only limit is his imagination.
Personality: Vantas is a confident man who has complete and utter faith in his philosophies and abilities. This is evident in the grin that he frequently bears upon his face, keeping his calm even in the most dire situations. However, this confidence is not to be mistaken for arrogance. Vantas does not allow his confidence to cloud his judgement, believing in exactly what he knows and does and nothing more. Assumptions and ideals are nothing to him, for he instead views the universe from a realist standpoint.
After Baldramort was killed, along with Cruor, Vantas retracted into a shell. He started to view his drive to obliterate reality as a burden, almost a bore. He takes no further pleasure in murder and destruction, considering them to be chores more than anything. His experience in the battle humbled him, for he understood that there were higher powers at work. He is now obsessed with uncovering Damian, the stranger who helped them in battle.
Background: The Lord of the Void never really knew when, why, or how he began. All that he knows is where he was created: in the Void, a consistent state of nonexistence that is everywhere and nowhere all at once. It is the infinitely small spaces between every piece of the universe in every moment of time, but it is far from tangible. It is, and it isn't.
Vantas believed that his consciousness spawned from the Void, but he also believed that his consciousness was in there since the beginning of time. Nonetheless, he existed at some point in time and found himself in Carcari under the hand of Baldramort. He found himself somewhat different from the other gods united with the Prince of Chaos, for while they desired pain, suffering, and death, Vantas desired something entirely different.
Freedom. Pure, unfiltered freedom. The other gods were bound by their meager desires and bloodshed while Vantas asked for something essentially unobtainable. Even he was bound by his desire, and the only way to free himself of it was to achieve it. He desired the Void to become reality, for only in the Void, in a state of nonexistence and omniscience at the same time, could one truly obtain freedom.
They were also bound by another being: the King of Gods. But while the other gods in Carcari saw it as bondage by the entity, Vantas saw it as bondage from the throne itself. The concept of a ruler amongst the gods was a principle that had to be disposed of. The Five Monarchs, and even the Prince of Chaos himself, simply had to go in Vantas's eyes. It was essential in order for the Void to be achieved.
And so when the King of Gods fell, Vantas saw it as another step closer to the Void. With the King fallen and the other gods established as humans like himself, he could climb to the throne and destroy it. Once the idea of a ruler was gone, the Void could be renewed, and true freedom could be found.
During his time on Earth, Vantas joined with Cruor and Kavi on a quest from Baldramort: to find the heart of the God of Innocence, and use said heart to open a portal back to Carcari. They met several other gods and ended up destroying a dragon known--ironically--as the Destroyer. This, however, sent Vantas across the world and destroyed his connection with the Void. He was discovered by Iravelle, the Goddess of Innocence, who healed his physical wounds. He was unable to take her heart because he had lost his powers, but he didn't want to do it either. Instead, he grew somewhat attached to her...until he met up with other fallen gods, one of which was Zypher, God of Purification. Spying his old nemesis and yet powerless to fight him, Vantas negotiated travel, which was quickly interrupted by an attack from the demigods. Iravelle turned involuntary traitor by some kind of mind control, and Vantas was forced to kill her.
It was in that moment when he decided to turn traitor against Baldramort, for he was sick of being forced to do anything at all. His connection to the Void returned, fully healed and stronger than ever, and he battled against the demigods by Zypher's side. Thanks to his rash actions, Zypher's lover, Lucielle, was killed in the confrontation, and Vantas left them to rejoin his comrades at the Vatican, along with Jonas, God of the Night. They decided collectively to betray Baldramort, which resulted in a painful confrontation with him. A mysterious god known as Damian appeared to help them, and they managed to destroy Baldramort...but not before he killed Cruor.
With Baldramort's death, they were able to enter the portal to Carcari. Jonas, Kavi, and Vantas have since killed anything in their path, purging the realm on their continued journey towards the Throne of Gods. Vantas, however, is obsessed with uncovering the mystery of Damian, discovering why he helped them, and perhaps destroying him for interfering with his affairs.

Even if she were to age it'd be rather slow outwardly. Overall she looks like a twenty year old young woman and is rather cute instead of attractive
God/Goddess of: inner peace, motherhood. New life, And cats
Faction: balance
Powers:
Passive Nirvana is a calming presence and a point of center. Her presence seems to be one of a cool and clean spirit she has not only the ability to pacify anger and contention she can also act as a mother to literally anything that breathes. Her only other powers are an innate knowledge of the needs of any child regardless of age (up to adulthood) and the ability to call on cats and kittens when she needs then as a goddess of new life she can bring some new life into existence but it can't be against nature and it can't be entirely strange to humans as well as it will take the full time to grow (which differs by size )
Combat powers
Cat Within: A form made more for sneaking than for fighting Nivrana's cat mode is cute rather than fearsome. In this form Nirvana shrinks down to about a foot shorter than her normal already short height, and then she gains some cat features. These are a tail, ears, eyes, and claws, nirvana also grows some fur in various places on her body(the fur is usually black or spotted like a shorthair cat)
Momma Bear: This is the one form that no one EVER wants to see Nirvana go into. This form is literally a cross between Cat Mode, and a VERY angry momma black bear. In this form Nirvana grows about a foot and her entire body changes from a human form to a beast that looks like a cat and a bear hooked up and made babies, needless to say this form is both agile and strong, but it is still afraid of water and distracted by shiny things and will back down if the thing that made Nirvana angry enough to change into this form is either dead or it backs off.
Equipment: Heckler and Koch P30 V3 pistol
Spoiler: yeah she has a gun! get over it
The HK P30 is a Double Action Single Action handgun designed for law enforcement, Nirvana picked hers up off an officer in London and has since only ever used it once. Ironically enough she has memories of similar weapons from what we humans refer to as the early 1900's, she still will not reveal how or where she came into contact with them.
The handgun Nirvana has is the 9x19mm variant and it holds 15 rounds in its detachable stick magazine.
Personality: Nirvana while not an aggressive or warlike goddess has a strong spirit but is also very compassionate and empathetic. She is of the belief that man is what man is and only man can truly know what that is. However she still finds them interesting and thinks they have some very good ideas. (Like maternity leave) and they only need to find the right way. She personally likes the idea of humanity and the humility it could give a god if only they could feel age and death. But she doesn't like them destroying themselves either. As for gods.. She takes them as they come. Some she liked others she hates. It's all a balance for her
On a side note it should be warned that to piss her off. If indeed one can do that. Is to accept inevitable death at worst and injury at best. She is a true terror when enraged and armed.
More recently she has taken to showing considerably more emotion than one would expect a goddess to show, however this newer side can only lead to more development on her part.
Background: nirvana is a young god and had net really done as much as the others. But what she has done. Is worth praise in its own forms. Nirvana has been the silent voice of reason in humanity often halting many wars long before they could start. And when she and the god of peace have worked together miracles have been preformed. It was the two working together that caused the Christmas Day truce furring the First World War and it was her that whispered in the ear of the emperor of Japan to get him to surrender before more Atom bombs could be dropped. She has worked her entire life to keep balance and peace
When the fall happened Nirvana managed to land quite literally headfirst into the streets on London, there she ran into other deities of balance and more out of familiarity she began to follow them. Along the way she grew very attached to a childlike god, Masecha, god of the Heart. And though she never out loud claimed him as such Nirvana began to consider him to be her own child.
However when the group was just about to go home and start to solve this crisis before things got worse, a monstrosity attacked them and though Nirvana tried her best she could do nothing but watch as her child was killed before her eyes.
Driven to a true rage Nirvana lost control, before everyone's eyes she transformed into a beast so terrifying few could describe it, those that could simple called it the walking incarnation of a mother's fury when her child is in danger. Nirvana did not however stop at that, for perhaps the first time ever, she used her powers of life, to bring about death, she created a virus that would kill even divine beings and though it could have killed her off as well she fought the beast one on one, thanks to the others interceding Nirvana survived, but with her heart broken and a fire lit within her will the on who killed her child be so fortunate?
Spoiler: A new Friend
Name: She refers to herself by the much more human name of Ayano Sasaki
Gender: Female
Age: A couple billion years give or take. At least as old as the moon.
Appearance:
Spoiler: Image and description within
Ayano looks quite young, at the oldest just over twenty. Her skin never seems to have any imperfection and even seems to reflect a little light back.
Her stark white hair shimmers at night and her eyes seem alight when the moon is out. But otherwise she looks fairly human.
Since the Fall Ayano has managed to sneak her way into human life. For a few months even attending a high school in the Kyoto region of Japan. As a result she has taken to wearing modern human clothes, though she does have a few more classical articles around.
God/Goddess of: The Moon, Observance, those that keep the nighttime watch.
Faction: Balance, because reasons.
Powers:
Passive: Night Vision, Just as the moon takes light from the sun, Ayano can take light from any source and use it to see as if the moon were full.
Watchful Light, The moon has watched over travelers for a long time, it's light letting them see danger when all others go out. In this way Ayano can "Sense" danger before it arrives, though she is not made aware of the exact threat.
Quiet Listener, for thousands of years people have spoken to the moon, weather in secret or otherwise the moon has always listened, though not until recently has she been able to answer.
Because of this Ayano exudes a presence of familiarity and companionship, people tend to want to speak with her and confide in her their wishes.
Rise with the Moon: Ayano tends to be more awake and stronger whenever the moon is out, when the moon is eclipsed she is at her weakest, almost as weak as your average human, conversely if the moon were to eclipse the sun she would experience a rather strong boost in her vitality and power for a short time.
Combat:
Ancient Warrior's Wisdom: Ayano has been to earth before. In past times of great change she once fell to earth and there learned the long lost art of Ninjutsu, this skill has not left her and though she is a more passive goddess she does know how to fight and fight well.
A Master's Step: One may wonder how a moon goddess has such a power, to put it simply she doesn't, rather she has had a long time to train and toughen herself against such massive strain to the point where her reflexes and movement are at best difficult to keep up with, at worst she is little more than a blur to mortal eyes.
Explained in detail, Ayano is no goddess of speed, she has no magical talent for movement that is innate to her,
rather Ayano has in the past when she was younger, sought the teachings of great masters of martial arts. Though at the time she was in the body of a mere human, her memories of that brief time still hold strong and after her few years on earth Ayano constantly practiced in her divine body the same skills, her hundreds of years of this constant training which at times bordered on the extreme, even for a goddess, has made her faster and more nimble than one would expect.
Minor Mystical Powers: Though she is no magician, the belief that the moon is associated with some magic means that Ayano can make a small miracle or two, though they take time and the right conditions to work, often this means hours of quiet meditation and intention.
Equipment: A smartphone, she decided that it would be better to have one to blend in.
A book bag, a surprisingly pink bag for holding books.
Manga (in large quantities) , Ayano has acquired a slight (not really) addiction to these little comics. Stored in the book bag.
Old handheld Game Boy Advanced with some old games and a pack of fresh AA batteries for it, a gift from a friend Ayano met while dealing with normal life. Also in the book bag.
Wakizashi, This small blade fell alongside Ayano, and helped her to deal with many more unearthly issues that arose in the following months. The hilt is a nice dark blue and the blade itself is a strange pale blue that glows dimly at night.
It has never lost its' sharpness in all it's many years of existing .
Personality: Sweet is a word many humans can use to describe Ayano when they first meet her. Ayano loves humanity, and does not wish to see it disappear. This love has only deepened as she has come to know some humans personally in a informal, almost familial way. She's generally kind and is a very good listener, however she does not like to initiate anything, rather she prefers to hang back until invited, which tends to make for a lack of friends, speaking of friends, Ayano is loyal, very loyal to her friends, especially the human ones, this loyalty stems from a deep longing she has for real companions since most of her life is spent alone watching humanity from above.
Background:
Ayano is a very old being, born with the moon her early years were rough and filled with much dissatisfaction as she sat alone watching the Earth, for from birth she was assigned by Suriel himself to watch this small planet.
And so, not knowing anything else, Ayano obeyed and observed. She however did not like it and though at times things on Earth were fascinating, the giant lizards were a high point, Ayano did not always appreciate it, and more than once she let a few large rocks slip by and hit the planet because she either was bored or had just taken a nap.
However one day as Ayano sat and watched she noticed something new. It wasn't very big, or at the time important looking, but it intrigued her. What she saw was the first vestiges of modern man as he treked his way across the world.
At first their numbers were small, handfuls here and there, but steadily the humans began to gather and grow, what's more they started solving problems in strange ways. Ways Ayano had never seen before. This was the start of what would become a favorite hobby of Ayano's for millennia to come.
But like many other things eventually Ayano began to grow tired of simply watching humans and their progress. She wanted more than to just be a passive observer, she wanted to get to know them, learn about them from them. And most of all she wanted to feel something other than the steadily growing loneliness she had been feeling from the start but had only at that moment realized what it was.
And thus Ayano descended from her celestial home to the lowly realm of man.
On earth Ayano found that she had landed on a island of sorts, a really big one that is today called Japan.
At first she was alone, lost in a forest of bright pink blossoming trees Ayano hardly looked the part of a powerful divine entity. Rather she was left in the form of a young girl, which she would later discover was Suriel's doing as he knew she would one day try to meet the humans. In this new body Ayano was first discovered by a wandering warrior. He was in his elder years, this kind soul took Ayano in, naming her Sakura for the cherry blossoms that surrounded her when they first crossed paths.
This elderly master would for years act in the stead of a father to the Goddess, he taught her his language and other important skills among humans and in what Ayano would later learn was an uncommon act, he would teach her the art of Ninjutsu, and though it the moon goddess felt a first true connection to this world. As years passed Ayano and the elder would travel mostly by night, stopping in small secret villages filled with warriors much like the elder, who as he went left a little of his wisdom at each town, a habit Ayano soon picked up herself. During her travels Ayano learned much, and grew even more as she watched humans slip into warfare, but she did not interfere to change it. She instead listened to the elder and let the world pass by, it was after all, not her place to act.
However like all things in the world of men Ayano's "Father" eventually passed leaving her his possessions and wisdom which she would pass on to others in the form of scrolls that she left all over the land. But eventually the goddess began to long for her home. Though she loved the Earth and the humans that lived in it, it was there world. And she had no place there, not truly at the least.
And so Ayano, though much magic and an act from Suriel, returned to her place among the divine, forever changed, her stay on earth and taught her much, kindness, compassion, joy in even the little things, and even physical skills that had been created by humans, And though Ayano thought she would perhaps never see the earth like that again she still to this day honors her friends and family on earth by practicing what they taught her.
Everything however changed when Suriel was killed, Ayano found herself once more falling to earth with every other divine entity to have existed, Thankfully however her fall started at the Earth's moon and though either pure luck or a small miracle Ayano managed to not only land on an island, but in an ironic twist of fate she landed in a grove of blossoming cherry trees. Dazed and disoriented Ayano hardly managed to stand up for several hours. Once she did the goddess discovered that somehow the elder's wakizashi had managed to survive the fall with her, none the worse for wear. Later that same day Ayano had made it to the side of a road where she was picked up by a family that was returning from some sort of event. Fearing the worst Ayano made the choice to just accept what she was given and though this choice she gained both a place to stay and a new name, Ayano Sasaki.
As the weeks went by Ayano found herself adjusting to this more modern world very quickly. Even letting herself get talked into attending a local high school which though things all over were breaking down, was much better than many other gods could say they experienced.
This life was not however entirely peaceful, thanks to the fall many mythical beasts began to stalk the streets at night. One night a beast made it's way into what had become her house, Ayano who was awake at the time had only just managed to get it's attention before it could cause too much damage and began to fight the beast in the streets of her suburb. It was only thanks to the skills she learned those centuries before that Ayano was able to best the creature but at the same time she was made aware of a new threat to herself and the people who had taken her in.
And so Ayano had become a sort of guardian of that little town, doning a black kimono and wielding her master's blade Ayano for weeks fought back beasts of myth and legend by night, and attended high school by day.
Now however a break in her schooling means that Ayano has a chance to put a stop to the beasts once and for all. So she said goodbye to the kind people who let her live with them and set out on her own with little but what she could carry and what was left of her divine powers.
As Ayano traveled she went north, following the stories and tales of mythical beasts and such other horrors.
However she was soon tracked down by a splinter group within Japanese government, Comprising entirely of gods and demigods this group sought to bring about their own rule by having monsters destroy Japan and it's surrounding nations. In the following weeks Ayano encountered several members of this group and met them in one on one combat, each time eliminating the opponent.
However one came who was a match for her. The son of the Swordsman God. This demigod was the last of his group, the only one who Ayano could not best with her power as it was. And so they fought. At the edge of a cliff the two clashed blades for three days and nights, their superhuman traits making such a feat possible. But alas, as the fourth day dawned they struck fatal blows upon each other. Unable to continue and both dying they finally settled next to each other. Blades left as they awaited death. It came for them both soon and as they breathed their last breath, the two great foes made peace.
But for Ayano it was not yet over. She awoke alone, her sword and bag still with her. she did not know where she was, but she knew she could not be alone. Ayano had to find others, she was not ready to go away yet. She had one more chance to make a difference for her human friends, she also had school starting soon and she didn't want to miss that either.
