Mooncrest Academy! (OOC) [Group Roleplay]

Welcome to Mooncrest Academy!

Here at Mooncrest Academy students of all races and social status attend this prestigious academy to learn how to control and manipulate their magic power. At the Mooncrest Academy the students learn the primordial elements of: Water, Fire, Earth, Air and some are even blessed with unorthodox elements like Light and Darkness. Outside of these elements there are also non-elemental spells but those are only taught to second year students and above while all first year students learn to control their primary magic only being able to specialize in one element or two depending on their potential which the school tests through a magic artifact known as the 'Primal Stone' which when one places their hand on such an item and channel their mana into it the stone glows based on the color of the element they have the highest aptitude for while all other elements are not displayed. Though first year students are only taught to control and harness the primordial elements in their first year, that does not stop their families from passing down their knowledge through private tutors before they enroll in the academy. Not all students are capable of having tutors before attending due to social status between them as even commoners are allowed to attend the prestigious Mooncrest Academy as long as they can pass the entrance exam which is based on a written knowledge test. Even if it may be a magic academy the students are still taught a common curriculum of: Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, Physical Education as well as History and Health Education!

1.) The order in which character sheets have been made shall be the order in which post shall be sent out until everyone who has signed up has had the chance to post and the cycle restarts at the GM's next post!

2.) Be Kind and courteous to your fellow players, don't be rude or start any unnecessary drama! If there is a problem please contact myself or a member of RPA's staff.

3.) Remember we are all here to have fun but the rules of RPA still apply here! So if you want to spice up your roleplaying with another player make sure you have mutual consent on what is to happen between characters and if it is to become mature you can fade to black and take things to PMs! 4.) And last but not least, DO NOT GOD MOD! or do anything that would make your fellow players uncomfortable. make sure to communicate with the group if you can't post we won't be upset we just want to know if you are doing alright and if everything is good! Jean-Pierre has lived for many years, even fighting in what was known as the 'Great Magic War' among the ruling kingdoms when he was but a young vampire before he even reached the age of one hundred. After the great war he became friends with the neighboring kingdom which he established his prestigious Mooncrest Academy in to raise and nuture the minds and potential of young and aspiring magic users. Since then he has remained on the campus of the Mooncrest Academy which can only be entered with a magic pass given to those who are staff of the school or will attend the academy itself. During the 'Great Magic War' Jean-Pierre was heralded as the Great Calamity as his powers were so great he nearly wiped out the other kingdoms single-handedly which caused them to create a peace treaty and stop the war under the pressure he exerted to stop the fighting between the various kingdoms!

Sylvaine comes from a wealthy Viscount family whom gained their status by their many accomplishments in magical research on spells and mana devices all in their own. Which also includes that of the 'Primal Stone'
the Academy uses to test a student's elemental aptitudes and the overall quantity of their mana. Being from such a family he doesn't let his status overload his ego being a rather kind and graceful gentleman who through the use of water and air is capable of creating ice and snow. Sylvaine having such a heavy title to bear has been working towards being the best mage he can so that some day he could become the next Archmage. Due to being a third year he has more freedom to deal with his own magic research looking into ancient spells thought to have been long lost since before the dean's time in the 'Great Magic War' wanting to revive old spells to help better the kingdom and gain status and fame for himself.

Blackberry, as her family calls her, hails from a secluded and quiet forestland. She had a peaceful upbringing until, in the midst of her youth, Blackberry experienced an unexplainable transformation. Faeries of those lands are familiar with the magics of earth and light. This is why it was so shocking when Blackberry’s magic was recognized as the element of darkness. It had been many, many years since this element had been amongst faerie kind. With no hope for a mentor or guidance to help Blackberry develop her magic, her family sought wisdom from beyond. The name “Mooncrest” became familiar to Blackberry, as she now hoped to attend it. She would be the first of her family to go beyond the forestland.

i just resize them in paint. there's a resize option that is done by percentage or whatever and another done by pixel. I take the biggest one under pixel and then set it to 500.
