Through Beheeyem's Teleport, Donald and Reuben teleported to the bomb's location. "The bomb squad has been delayed," Reuben stated, "Donald, as the tech expert of our group, it's up to you to disarm this thing."
"I'm on it," Donald acknowledged, sending out his Metagross and Espeon, "Metagross, Mega Evolve and mind meld with Espeon and me!" He called out his Porygon-Z from his phone. "Porygon-Z use Conversion and join the link!" Porygon-Z became a Psychic type and linked their mind with Donald and the other two psychics.
"My and Reuben's minds are joining this meld," Beheeyem chimed in.
"We can use a couple military minds," Donald's Espeon replied gratefully.

"You with the Gardevoir," Donald addressed Kozato, "We may need a couple more minds to get this thing disarmed in time. The power of 15 brains combined should be enough to take care of this thing."

Simisear: *Stepping up* Add me. I'll join along.

Gothitelle: And me. I will join in as well. This bomb has got to be stopped. If it goes... this whole trade center will be gone and the city will have to go through another 9/11 scenario. We can't allow for that to happen. It has to be defused. And fast.

Jeremy: *looking at Sandy* Maybe music might defuse it.

Sandy: It could work.

Helga: What do you mean? What... You're gonna sing it to defuse?

Curly: If only we knew of someone who could rip up a #.

Jeremy: We can do one.

Lisa: So can we...

Abigail: *Thinking*...

Harold: Let's take care of this bomb.

It was then that they all moved in and did what they knew had to be done. Taking Donald's lead into helping Kozato.

The bomb started to show signs of reaching the point of ignition and that was a sign that something was coming.



Jeremy: *Voice-Over* Here we went again... Danger upon more danger upon more danger... It was starting to seem like it would never end. But for an adventure like this... Not many people can stomach too much reality in one sitting. Not even one who tries to escape it. But we were currently in New York City. New York City and underneath the location that happened to be known as the World Trade Center. A Bomb was in imminent status of likely going off. It was set to blow in just minor moments and if so... it would destroy the World Trade Center... AGAIN and make another scenario of the fated 9/11/01 attacks. In case no one knew about the attacks on that day... time now to fill everyone in. This was before my time. I wasn't around then... So i would never feel the full impact of what came of that fateful day. But this is what it was...

A Newsreel of Sept. 11th 2001...

It was a day like any other. People got up... they went to work... Mothers saw their kids off as they went to school and started another day. It was a day which seemed to be... just like your average typical day. But that was when in the silent and peaceful atmosphere and state of calm... an event hit that would change Everything...

This was how it all began...

7:59 a.m. - American Airlines Flight 11 takes off from Boston's Logan International Airport en route to Los Angeles with 92 people on board.








8:14 a.m. - United Airlines Flight 175takes off from Boston with 65 people on board; it is also headed to Los Angeles.








8:19 a.m. - Flight attendants aboard Flight 11 alert controllers the plane has been hijacked.








8:20 a.m. - American Airlines Flight 77 takes off from Dulles International Airport outside of Washington, D.C. The Boeing 757 is headed to Los Angeles with 64 people aboard.








8:41 am - United Airlines Flight 93, a Boeing 757 with 44 people aboard, takes off from Newark International Airport en route to San Francisco.


At 8:46 a.m. - Hijackers crash American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center between floors 93-99, killing all on board and hundreds inside the building. Hundreds of first responders speed to the scene; many are killed in the collapse of the buildings.


It was a horrific scenario that none would want to see happen... but... It did... And it was gonna get worse. Much... Worse.


8:50 a.m. - White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card alerts President George W. Bush that a plane has hit the World Trade Center. The president is visiting an elementary school in Sarasota, Florida at the time.

9:03 am - Hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 75-85 of the WTC's South Tower. All on board are killed and hundreds more killed inside the building.




9:08 a.m. - FAA bans all takeoff of flights going to New York City.
















9:24 a.m. - The FAA learns Flight 77 has also be hijacked after passengers and crew on board alert family members.

9:37 a.m. -Flight 77 crash the plane into the western facade of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., killing 59 aboard the plane and 125 military and civilian personnel inside the building.








9:42 a.m. - FAA grounds all flights over continental US. It's the first time such a declaration has been made in the U.S.








9:45 a.m. - The White House and U.S. Capitol building are evacuated.






9:59 am - The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.








10:07 a.m. - Passengers and crew aboard hijacked Flight 93 learn about the attacks and attempt to retake the plane. It crashes into a Pennsylvania field, killing all 40 on board.







10:28 a.m. - The World Trade Center's North Tower collapses.








5:20 p.m. - The 47-story Seven World Trade Center collapses after burning for hours.








8:30 p.m. - President Bush addresses the nation, calling the attacks "evil, despicable acts of terror" and declaring that America, its friends and allies would "stand together to win the war against terrorism.


End of Newsreel timelining the events of the day.

Jeremy: *Voice-over* That day changed... Everyone's lives in America. From the west coast... To the East and even throughout the heartland. It was the very event that New York would never forget and would be reminded of from then on... whenever they were to look up and see the skyline... Changed forever. It would live to do none more than remind them of the very day that their city was attacked. That this country was... Attacked. 79 years later... we wind up in New York... Seeing the World Trade Center... The New World trade. But to deal with a bomb threat that if the bomb went off... it would cause for the entire Trade center to collapse and remind the city of that day... What they lost that day. We were only Pokemon trainers. Rangers, Breeders and Connoisseurs. We were with no experience in thwarting a bomb threat. However we did know as to how we could derail the ambitions of Team Magma, Team Aqua and Now... as we were learning Team Galaxy. This is what we had to do...
Time was running out and we had only dire brief moments to spare. Moments before the bomb went KABOOM!


Sandy: We better pray this works. This is a one shot take. If we make even the slightest mistake... within only the smallest integer... This could all be very bad.


Lisa: God... This city's suffered enough. We just can't let this bomb go off. We can't. this has got to work. It's just got to.


While the men worked to try and defuse the bomb... the women and girls... were in a clinch and frozen with suspense. Was this gonna work? Cross your fingers... Hold ON TIGHT!

It was at that moment that Mega Metagross concluded that not even Donald could disarm the bomb without hacking into the CIA's bomb database and with less than ten seconds on the clock the 14-mind-collective didn't like Donald taking the chance on cutting the correct wires. Donald and company scrambled to a safe distance from the van while Mega Metagross helped Beheeyem teleport the van away. "Arceus give them strength," Donald prayed, his voice the only one heard in an otherwise silent void.

The two psychics reappeared with the van sans bomb right as Porygon-Z stuttered the mark for when the bomb would explode. "Beheeyem, where did you and Mega Metagross put the bomb?" Donald asked.
"Innermost planetary orbit to the central star," Beheeyem answered, "I can tell you're skeptical, but it's the truth. In less than five minutes, the explosion will be perceivable in the sky."
"Mercury orbit?!" Donald exclaimed in disbelief.
"To answer your next question," Beheeyem continued, "No, the planet you humans call Mercury was nowhere near the detonation site."
"If that really is the case, you and Mega Metagross really need a decontamination," Donald suggested, sending out his Brionne, "Arceus knows how much solar wind you two got exposed with."
"The same should go for the van," Mega Metagross added before reverting to their normal form. Reuben was speechless at what his partner pulled off.

The other pokemon returned to normal too and it was then where they took stock and grabbed a status report on the aftermath of the predicament.

Sandy: So, Kozato... What... What sort of name is that? If you don't happen to mind us asking? Where did you come from? Are... you like a Pokemon trainer, Ranger... Breeder, Groomer... or what?

Lisa: We're not suspicious of you. We're just curious because we can't really help but wonder about what you're about. We didn't see you in Cleveland while we were there competing and battling to earn our first Gym Badge.

They couldn't help it. They were profoundly curious. It was quite clear that they were. Would the answers that were to come... be enough to appease them? Would the mysterious trainer become another ally and friend to them or would he be a possible villain that came off as a typical Pokemon Trainer... but with a rather not so good agenda? We better find out to be sure. This could be a pretty sticky conversation... Oh boy... Please say the person's a friend. Please!?

"My name is Kozato, I was planning to remove the bomb entirely from the premises but I don't think that would be possible with the size considering it's attached to barrels inside this van." Kozato stated as he looked at Anistar's Roserade and the Simisear that addressed him. "I will help as best as I can though, I may not be a bomb diffuser but I've seen plenty of documentaries about them and how they are made and disarmed." Kozato said as he looked at his Gardevoir. "Gardevoir use telepathy and mind meld with the group so we can help disarm the bomb. We don't have much time. It appears to be on a timer but the group who placed this here could also have a dial in to trigger it at any time." Kozato said before he felt and heard all the thoughts rushing through the groups mind as he looked at the bomb and looked over the components with Donald. Soon as he did he stood up in the van and began to examine the components listening to what was rushing through everyone's minds before he carefully leaned over to try and look down the center using a flashlight from his bag and found what looked like a silver box down between the barrels. "I think this is the real detonator. The one on the front is just a decoy to distract us! There are only two wires going into that one while this one has about six all of which are connected to the four barrels of who knows what." Kozato said as he looked back at donald and was serious.

"Help me out here come up on top carefully and lets open the box to see what is what. Do you have any tools we can use to cut the wires like side dikes or clippers?" Kozato asked as he looked at Gardevoir and asked her to lift and lay them on top of the barrels carefully to face the center of them to get to the silver box which was the real detonator using her telekinesis through the mind meld. After they were on the barrels and opened up the silver box he looked over all the wires with donald and took in a deep breath following the wires every which way before he pointed to a green-ish yellow striped wire. "Its this one! This will disarm the bomb, lets cut this one and that will be the end of this bomb! Then we can teleport it out of the city somewhere." Kozato said as he looked at Donald as Kozato's mind was one that was fast and agile able to retain information at an incredible speed. Some might even consider him to be a genius with how fast he picked things up without ever really having to study though he wouldn't consider himself a genius since it was just the way his brain worked.

It was only a moment after they got the answer from him and given that their questions were not all answered... from what he did say to them... gave them the insight that he was a friend. One of the good guys. They didn't know if he was a trainer. Or a Ranger. Or a Breeder or groomer. But what they saw of him... he was all for doing what was right.

They were gonna need a lot of assurance that he would be willing to face off against the evil teams as much as they were going to to stop the possible reawakening of the Ancient Pokemon.

"My question to you, Kozato, is as follows;" Donald addressed, "Do you have the cajones to help stop a triad of evil factions that plan to use ancient legendary Pokémon for their own selfish ends and almost certainly risk ecological catastrophe?"

Jeremy: We do. And we won't stop till they're defeated. The Ancient Pokemon must not be awakened. It will only mean the end of all things if that were to happen.

Suddenly...



Blossom L. Burke: *Flying into the scene* Whoa! What're you guys doing? Are you guys insane? That bomb... it's dangerous. You guys... aren't trying to blow this place away... are you?

Lisa: What?! *Scoffs* Hell no! We're trying to stop it. Defuse the bomb.

Blossom L. Burke: Have you had any luck with it?

Nicole: We're just about at the point of sending it far into the boondocks where it'll do minimal damage.

Abigail: A bunch of our pokemon have mended minds in trying to disarm the bomb. Putting it in traction.

Sandy: If you've got some ideas on how to speed up the process... Please. Feel free to express them.

Was this gonna be a moment at odds... or was she on their side?

"I have enough cojones to get in the way of a bomb detonating, that's more dangerous than dealing with pokemon battles. I'm confident in pokemon battles with my partners. I have no qualms about going up against a triad of evil organizations to stop them from resurrecting evil legendary pokemon. We don't need any more issues in this world. For now lets focus on this bomb. I need a tool so we can disarm it! I figured out what the real wire is that we need to cut." Kozato said as he addressed Donald and looked at the rest of the people who appeared assuming they were other trainers who were there for the same reason he was. To stop the detonation of the bomb. He was not a military man but he'd read up plenty on bombs and other such things from various books on top of the information he acquired from mind melding with the others it gave him enough information without looking into the CIA database.
