"You certainly have many in pursuit of you, sure I can stick around and have a drink or two with you before I retire to my room." Cedric stated as he looked at Narissa and sat at the empty table with her so that they could get a few drinks. He wasn't much of a drinker but he certainly wasn't a lightweight either.

Narissa shook her head. "I'm just a new face. They'll forget about me soon enough." She drank her ale slowly. She did her best to seem calm but the sensation of being watched made her tense. Sitting with Cedric would keep her safe but only if she stuck close enough. There wasn't any guarantee that the tracker wouldn't take any opportunity to grab her.

"Well then lets make it so they don't want to mess with you." Cedric said as he moved to sit beside Narissa and pulled her hood up before wrapping his arm around her and sat there drinking some ale of his own and kept his arm around her waist in a protective manner. He didn't know who was after her but assumed by her reaction it was the authorities or something similar and so he drank his ale while keeping her close, as he did she could smell that he had a wonderful scent about him most likely due to the extravagant soap he used to wash his body with.

The scent of soap made Narissa miss having a good bath. The boarding house didn't supply one, only a wash basin and pitcher for spit baths. What she wouldn't give to smell good again. She caught herself leaning into him and straightened a bit.

"Thanks," she mumbled. The tracker was close but hard to pin point. It seemed Cedric's presence had helped. Now what? she thought. Should she ask him to accompany her? She didn't want him asking too many questions. Fuck it. "Would you like to spend time with me today? I have errands that I still need to get done."

"Is that so? I don't have anything on my agenda to do today, so alright I'll be your escort and keep you out of harms way Lady Tilly." Cedric said speaking like a gentleman while keeping her close with his arm around her smiling down at her, his cheeks a bit warm from the alcohol though he wasn't feeling all that affected by it, the booze still warmed him and tinted his cheeks since he wasn't used to drinking often though he wouldn't turn down a lady's request to drink with him in a platonic social manner.

Narissa finished her drink and stood. "Well, let's go," she said. Once outside, she walked to the market, keeping an eye on her periphery. Although she couldn't see the tracker, she could feel his eyes on her. Narissa stuck close to Cedric's side. "What made you come to the capital?" She asked as she perused the stalls.

"Just a simple whim to be honest, I like traveling but I heard the weather here is always nice so I decided I would move here and settle down. You know buy a home and work from this kingdom and all." Cedric stated as he looked at Narissa walking around with her and looked at the various stalls as he was staying at the inn until he saved up enough to buy land so he could build his own house.
