I'll be doing most of my work on GIMP or MS Paint. I don't know how to get a sketch on without actually taking a picture of it.

I'm sure Kris doens't mind the Ms paint thing. Personal I'd preffer you take the picture dude. Since then we get a beter view of your shading techniuque, how you do your lines and ETC which is what I'm really fascinated in.

Its what I used to do before I stole my mother's scanner.(She wasn't using it...much)

I got another idea for a Comp. A rock band portrait. You can eiter make up a rock band like RPA characters in a rock band

or use exsisting members. It can be any kind of portrait. Long range, close up, etc.

1. While working with layers it is important to create each parts with different color and with different layers (and be sure to name the layers)
