That raises an interesting question. . .what happens if a unit decides to not follow those orders, especially if they are somewhat outside the Imperiums command structure? Chao (and indeed the Princeps on the ground) wouldn't like the idea that the precious war-relic titans could become stranded, especially given the fluid nature of the battlefront.

I expect it would depend on how good their excuse was, and how much else the high command had on their plate at the time.

@Derpnaster; you mentioned in the initial recruitment that you were going to throw in an Imperial ship, are you still interested in doing so?

Perhaps, I'm still working out just how fraking big a supply craft actually would be, and how much space would be needed to safely eject large quantities of gear planetside.

Although it’s what Dak has done, I would advise against making your ship a transport that’s directly linked to your ground force - a lot of the time, the naval battles will be happening in a different system from the ground ones.

True, but a planetary assault ship might be. Although in general I’d like people to stick to frigate and light cruiser hulls for simplicity’s sake.

No, it must be an original vessel.

I find it funny that we use the terms Frigate and Cruisers as different ships when they are in essence the same thing. Light heavily armed ships more used as scouting and raiding than as ships of the line.

Also could we play a carrier equivalent ship?
