I was dragged here by Nazgul's great metal hand before he became an Admin, it was rather surprising that too; considering our low status of the last Forum. But anyway, I followed him and was in awe of the wonderful community, first I helped Naz behind the scenes on SCAR; telling him all the original SCAR info and what I originally did with it. Then we ran off with that for a while, about a quarter way through I had to leave because of school and life reasons, followed by a sad Naz.
I eventually became distant to RPA in general, I didn't want to write, but I came back every few months to continue writing. My current stay has totalled a few weeks back and even then I've been jumping between being here and not, but I've been staying here for the community more than writing at the moment. The people who are here are so like me and understand things in a way that my friends can't hope to beat, Anne's also a good reason; we need to get that RP started one day.
Basically I just love RPA for a number of reasons as well, it's taught me a lot about writing in third person even though I refuse to do that; but it has still helped me through multiple English short stories. I love the people here and how they act to each other, arguments are few and people help each other when they hurt; it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thirdly, the few RP's that I've participated in make me feel better as a writer, I just love that feeling; to write with people that I know are amazing writers.
