In the interest of science, yes. By science I of course mean that it would have been kinda awesome.

In your defense, I can see not wanting to. But in mine, I'd have totally killed 4 PCs in an RP if I was running. Maybe that's why my players sometimes tell me that I can be too over-the-top.
