RPA's Top 100 Video Games

WOW umm...this is a loaded question, I've played SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox360...PC...so this is a damn tough one....let me compile some of my favs, some will be retro, some will be new xD

Console Games:

1. FINAL FANTASY 7-PS1 !!! Still one of THE most epic games I've ever played!
2. Final Fantasy 10-PS2 I love the plot and the gameplay was awesome, lots of new stuff introduced, like being able to do more than 9999 damage...awesome!
3. METAL GEAR SOLI SOLID SNAKE-PS1 one of the greatest games ever made, imo
4. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots-PS3 LOVE the cinematic feel
5. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater-PS2 Epic plot
6. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim-Xbox 360 SO MUCH FREEDOM OMG!
7. Fallout 2-PC One of the best RPGs ever made, and the fanmade mods breathe new life into the game!
8. Heavy Rain-PS3 Easily one of the most emotion grabbing games ever, with a very deep plot...very engaging.
9. Silent Hill 3-PS2 One of the scariest games I've ever played in my LIFE! I love Silent Hill!
10. Silent Hill 2-PS2 JUST misses 9 by a nose! It's hard to pick between 2 and 3, honestly
11. Silent Hill 4-The Room-PS3 OMG, another beautifully made horror game!
12. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-N64 the best Zelda game ever made
13. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past-SNES Classic Zelda, you gotta love it!
14. Final Fantasy 8-PS2 Hey, all FF games rock, in my experience
15. Final Fantasy 9-PS2 So many like 9 better then 8, but I disagree with those people
16. The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening-GB I LOVED this game!
17. Super Mario World--SNES Gotta love this classic Mario--it introduced YOSHI!
18. Mario 64-N64 Not as good as Super Mario World, but still deserves to be mentioned
19. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six-PC The realism behind this (1 shot deaths), plus the tactics of planning out your raids...awesome!
20. Fallout 3-Xbox 360 It's way down here, yes--but being 16 on a top 20 list of video games is still damn good!

I feel like we're being thread necromancers here, but here's my list. In no particular order:

1. Tetris: I'm good at it plus it's a timeless classic.
2. Super Mario Bros. 3: I originally put Super Mario World, but then I remembered about this one. It holds a special place in my heart, being the first video game I ever played.
3. Donkey Kong Country: This platformer originally released on the SNES stole many hours of my childhood and is marked as the second video game I ever played.
4. Portal 2: Both Portal games are incredible, but 2 stole this spot since it improved on so many things the first missed out on.
5. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Elder Scrolls truly is an incredible series but none of them stole away as many hours of my life as Skyrim has. Plus, dragons!
6. Uncharted 2: Modern day Indiana Jones? Can't go wrong there. My love of history, anthropology, and video games literally makes this a match made in heaven.
7. Uncharted 3: Same as above. Plus the multiplayer is fun!
8. The Last of Us: I only very recently started this game, but already I have been blown away by it. Within about ten minutes of starting the game I already found myself in tears. Naughty Dog has truly never failed me.
9. Fallout 3: This is another game I only recently started as well, but it is almost comparable to Skyrim for me.
10. Final Fantasy 10: This is the first Final Fantasy game I ever played and let's just say that aside from that it was quite a tearjerker as well. Not to mention that the gameplay and combat system is incredible!
11. Final Fantasy 9: In terms of story and design I do have to say that this game has certainly been excellent.
12. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: This game has been ranked as one of the best PS2 games, and that is an assessment I whole-heartedly agree with.
13. Crash Bandicoot: Warped: This is the second Naughty Dog game I ever played which transformed me into a true fan of their work. It also stole away many hours of my childhood.
14: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Sadly, this is a game I have played so little of since I never actually owned a N64, but it certainly deserved every minute of attention it gained from me.
15: Heavy Rain: I hardly consider this to be a video game in the traditional sense, but it one of the most emotionally driven, if not the most, emotionally driven game I have ever played. The twist ending absolutely blew me away as well.

That's only 15, but I honestly can't think of any more.
