The practice thread

Started up as a nice idea Pure and I had.

This thread is open for everyone.

What this thread will hold:

1. Weekly drawing competition (Everyone can join into it, and everyone can suggest ideas for themes).
2. suggestions and references for images that could help drawing stuff better.
3. Ideas for chars and comic.
4. Sketches and Wip (Links to others' art threads are good too).
5. Guides (self made by users who publish here).
6. Questions about art and whatnot.

I can see it growing big. It'll be a thread for everyone to practice and get better.

We are aware our style is more into the Asia's one, but, of course, everything is welcomed here.

Feel free to add your opinion or suggest more stuff.

also, feel free to link us to your works. You can also request that we tell you what can be done to make the works better or show if there are errors.

Let's go.

This is great!

I love a chance to do something with my pencils and have others go through it with me. I wanna see how others draw and I wan to see if we can all take something from each other. Deviant art is cool but its not great without some back and forht art talk between others like you.

This is not the perfect example of my technique. This is more like the perfect exampleof being lazy and getting a little lucky with the sizes.

I always se an H2 to start with and just let my pencil go wild till I get something close to what I want.

There was allot of erasing allot of redrawing befoe I got here.

Shading is everyhitng to me since I suck at it. So I mostly do my large pictures so I can focus on the shading. Okay so the picture is kinda huge. Used sheezy art for the final picture...sorry.

Hey maybe the first comp could be creating a drawing/skech what ever out of a picture from one of the RP members. I used to do that, it suprisingly challenging, and hard depending on the pose.
Or maybe a fan ficiton cross over? Like drawing one character from a TV hsow cartoon anime manga ETc and another from another one?
