The Porch.

You step up a misty pathway, your way illuminated by the lights flooding from the windows of the mansion ahead of you. Trees clawing around the path like grasping hands, ravens cawing to each other from the branches. A flurry of bat's twitters as they burst up into the air and flit across the face of the moon.

The night air is cold and the atmosphere colder still. But the light from the house is warm and inviting, and from inside you can music and revelry.

Avoid the stairs to the basement... Avoid unlocking the locks on the basement... Avoid opening the door to the basement... Avoid the basement..

Oh wait wait no no come back. Helping the others that roam the house will surely aid you in avoiding the basement

Takes detailed notes while edging towards the top stair of a flight that seems to lead downwards. Mm, mmhm, mmhm, mm, yes. Pauses when told to stop, glancing wistfully downward.
