Do you have a character you are very fond of, and just thought the one thing to make them complete would be a rockin’ theme song? Well you have come to the right place! Presenting:

VAIDIA’S CHARACTER THEME SONG WORKSHOP!!!

I have some experience with writing and arranging music, and have had a sad lack of projects to motivate me recently. So, I had the random midnight thought strike me that I could try and write theme songs for characters to get me back into the groove. Sound like something you would be interested in? Character Theme Song Form

Character name:
Link to Bio:
Descriptors: Pick three (or more) Adjectives to describe your character.
Personality: Give a brief description of your characters personality. You can just use thee adjectives if you'd like.
Style Preferences: Things such as genre preference, mode (major? minor? dorian? atonal(you better not you little--)?), or if you have an instrument you are fond of that you feel matches the character, let me know.
Other information: Anything else you might want to add, such as if you want it to loop or something fancy like that. If there is some prose that you want set to words, AKA lyrics, this is where you could put them.

Each theme will probably be around or under a minute, the level of instrumentation pending on what ideas I have/style I am going for. Most files will be probably be MIDI quality, as that is what the software I currently own produces.

Now, sadly I do not want to drive myself too crazy with this, so I will only have so many slots open at a time. More spots may open depending on my motivation/inspiration.

The Ballad of Chocolate Pete

Ref. There was a pirate on the seas
Whose name was Choc’late Pete
He terrorized the villages
And everyone he’d meet.

(I) That pirate bullied ev’ryone
Except young Jimmy Jones
Who had two dollars to his name
Or so the story goes.

(II) Ol’ Pete made Jimmy walk the plank
And stole his last few cents
He took the lady of the house,
And tied up all the gents!

Ref. There was a pirate on the seas
Whose name was Choc’late Pete
He terrorized the villages
And everyone he’d meet.

(III) Well, young Jimmy didn’t like that
So when he swam to shore
He ran throughout the town and yelled,
“Hey Pete, you want some more?”

(IV) And so that pirate, nasty Pete
Met Jimmy on the square
At noon he stared the wee lad down
And fought him then and there.

(V) Well, although Pete sure fought dirty
He wasn’t Jimmy’s match
Young Jimmy trapped him in a box

He threw old Petey overboard
Into the churning sea.

Sample Post: Slowly she put her foot on the wall again, and gradually got acquainted to walking on walls. Abigail forced herself not to think about this world and the strange laws that governed it, as she was sure it would cause her to have another panic attack. She could deal with the weird, narcissistic angel figure, and she could tolerate the pixies, but this! Everything she ever learned didn't apply here. None of it. It hurt her head just thinking about it. (What about this?)

Style Preferences: Something folksy, with a fiddle. Like a fast paced tune.

Other information: Loop would be cool.
