The Power of the Supernatural IC
The world is in danger of ending. The dark energy has been gathering in the earths core for thousands of years, and now finally, the world is starting to become corrupt. The people of this world believe that supernatural beings, such as werewolves and vampires don't exist, only a silly fairytale, but now those fairy tales will be the very thing which will save this earth, if not for us, for themselves. There are a few exceptions of course, there are people who believe in the supernatural, and even seen it for themselves. Thousands of people have died already, both supernatural and human. The cause of the killings are the shadow monsters which have been created from the corrected energy.
In a small town, people are working, working hard to survive the corruption. Everyone is in a panic recently. Crafting armor and weapons, hiding in homes, praying to gods and begging for their lives. Some have even tried to flee through the forest of no return. They call it the forest of no return, simply because whoever has entered the forest, has never returned alive. People believe a monster lives there, one of the strongest shadow monsters yet. Suddenly, a strange, distorted roar was heard. The ground turned to pitch black as shadow monsters arose from the ground.
Spoiler: Monsters
The Blind Shadow, as they called it, stretched it's hand's out and began to drain everyone's life. While the Blue Thunder raised it's hands and sent lightning down to strike villagers and buildings. Villager after villager became lifeless, as they destroyed everything. The Blind Shadow expanded and covered an entire building with it's body and began to crush the house completely. Meanwhile the Blue Thunder sent electric waves underground, destroying the village from underneath. Within a few minutes, the entire village was destroyed. The two shadows sunk into the ground, the entire village was now covered in shadows, corrupted like the rest of the world.
Ruby Kiyiya
Ruby was currently out in the woods, it was a full moon tonight and so Ruby was at her strongest. The large white muscled wolf roamed about in the forest as she growled and bared her teeth. Blood covered her fur in certain places, making some of the once white fur to become crimson with blood. Tonight, Ruby had already killed a lot, bodies of travelers and animals could be seen around the forest. Most of them would have their necks ripped out, covered in bloody claw marks and teeth marks all over the corpse. Ruby howled loudly at the full moon, as she finished, her bright yellow eyes stared at the full moon. It was late, very late. It must of been around midnight at least. Not a lot of people entered these woods at night, only a few. As those who entered never returned alive. People were scared of Ruby's forest as they believed a monster lived there, some had tried to hunt and kill this monster but nobody ever succeeded. Ruby turned around to see another hunter, her eyes stared at him as he held that gun, but as she began to growl and run, the man lost his courage and ran away, but Ruby was fast, she pounced on him, forcing him forward and then, with one quick bite she ripped his neck apart. Blood covered her muzzle as she chewed his flesh. She then growled once more and walked away. She had already had her meal for tonight, and needed no more, so she would just continue to roam the dark abandoned forest as the moon light shined upon her.
Kuya
Kuya was in his yard at the moment in his private home hidden in the mountains. It was a large yard, since he was a prince. He was currently practicing and training his powers to become stronger. He was unaware of the corruption on the planet, since where he was, the world wasn't corrupted. He used spells, shooting fire balls, making earth raise and creating water, although, he had been training for ten hours straight now, and he was running out of energy, he fell down on his back and took a deep breath. He couldn't carry on anymore, he had to stop for now. His cat Yoruichi watched him, she smiled gently and laid down with him as she rested beside him. She too was tired, she always stayed beside him to watch him.
Korto Konah
Korto was currently in her village, it was hidden all across the mountains, past many caves and hidden in a underground entrance. It was hidden simply because she wanted no intruders. She would do whatever it took to protect her village. Every night, she stayed on guard, making sure no shadow monsters attacked her home. She wanted to go and help search for somebody to save the world, but she had no idea where to even start, plus, if she left, her home would be defenseless. For now, no corruption was present, but it was only a matter of time. She stabbed her spear into the ground in frustration as she tried to come up with a plan, what should she do?
Miyarna
Miyarna was in the center of the Chaos, fighting the shadow monsters. She had been forced to transform into Tyrogue. She was slashing and sending energy blasts at shadows as they jumped at her and tried to attack her, she was getting annoyed with so many shadows around.
"Why, won't, you, mother fucking shadows die!"
She then turned her sword on fire and stabbed the ground. Suddenly, a wave a flames was shot out all around her. The shadows quickly vanished as soon as the fire touched them. She took a deep breath and returned to her human form.
"Damn, that was hard. So, you guys don't like fire, hey? Next time I will remember that, but fire also produces light to, so, fire and light are the things which stop these damn shadows."
She sat down for a moment as she went to rest. The area was still corrupted, the plants, the grass, everything was dead. Things were really bad, she just didn't want things getting worse.
