Default Favourite Films Not in the English Language

I have always liked watching foreign films that are not just American ones so I figured it could be interesting to start a thread on it... What are your favourite films not in the English language?

I have many. I'll just name a few. Der Untergang(The Downfall), Goodbye Lenin, Joyeux Noel, Underground, etc, etc. I could honestly keep going, but I can't think of titles right now.

I believe my first non-english movies were anime movies.

I liked Barefoot Gen and Arcadia of my youth. I have also seen the recent Captain Harlock movie.

Well, not really any spoken words in them, but I'm a big fan of "The Reward" and "Tales of Alethrion"

German: Der Untergang (as already recommended by Nachthexe), and also Stalingrad and Das Boot - all very powerful films. The amateur film Damnatus also rates an honourable mention for any 40K fans out there.

Spanish: REC (an excellent horror film), and also The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth (both by Guillermo Del Toro, who seems really good at making his films about much more than simple horror).

Italian: It's A Beautiful Life - just a fantastic film all round.

And the Swedish film Kopps is on my to-find list, purely because of this clip:

Would the Kite runner count fully?

I only know it cause it's one of the books we looked at last year in English Lit
