Cedric reaching Durith continued his travels planning to go to the capital Vylonia and went looking for a caravan to escort. "Lets see what the capital is like." Cedric said as he found himself a Caravan not knowing he would meet Narissa while traveling together with the Caravan.

The caravan Narissa joined was the only one going to Vylonia. It was mainly merchants and entertainers. She joined a group of performers as a stage hand. She kept her dark hair covered and added smalls bit of a disguise. "Call me Tilly," she said to the leader. The trip would take several days, up to a week.

One the second day, Narissa noticed the knight from the farming town amongst the others. Shit, she thought, why is he here? She made sure to keep tucked away from him. Did he know she was here? Was he hunting her? As they traveled, she took care as to make a plan to escape if he caught on to her.

Cedric traveled along with the caravan, unaware that Narissa was even among them. As such he merely acted as an escort in exchange for traveling with them. When it came time for a break he decided to go speak with the head of the caravan. "Hello sir, so out of curiosity how long before we reach Vylonia? Once we reach the capital I was thinking to maybe find some work." Cedric said as he crossed his arms chatting with the head of the caravan. It seemed he was merely traveling for the sake of traveling and picking up work to fund his travels as he explored the world and learned more about it.

It wasn't her intention to eavesdrop on the men, but Narissa couldn't help overhear their conversation. To Vylonia? There was no way he knew about her, so he must have some other reason to be there. With a small sigh, she turned and smacked into someone, dropping the basket of fruit she was carrying.

"Oi, Tilly, ye clumsy girl," the man, another stagehand, said. Narissa let out a nervous giggle and began picking up the fruit. "Sure am," she said in a falsetto voice. "Sorry." She glanced at the knight, wondering if he noticed her. Having him be around all the time made her a bit apprehensive.

Cedric hearing a commotion behind him turned to look at Narissa who was going by the alias of Tilly. "Are you alright?" Cedric asked as he walked over and started to help her pick up the fruit she was carrying before she accidentally dropped them from bumping into someone. "You didn't get hurt or anything did you?" Cedric questioned Tilly as he looked down into her eyes and smiled.

Narissa kept her eyes downcast as she gathered the fruit. "I'm alright, sir. Just clumsy." As soon as she was finished, she hurried away from the knight. Hopefully, her disguise was enough to hide her. That was close. There were only a few more days left of travel then she could disappear into the capital.

However, this wasn't an easy journey. Between the the cities by the sea and the capital was a stretch of nearly vacant forest. It wasn't uncommon for travelers to be attacked by bandits or monsters. The caravan hired several guards. The nights were the worst.

Cedric focused back on the escort mission as he was going to the capital of Vylonia along with the caravan to find more work and expand his horizons. As he did Cedric wasn't aware of the fact he would soon be facing trouble in the kingdom as there was going to be some sort of revolution or other. Cedric heading to the capital guarded at night taking shifts with the other escorts and fought the occasional monster or beast that came out of the forest.

Narissa had no knowledge of the impending revolution. She only had her goal in mind. Every so often she'd observe the knight during evening shifts. It calmed her a bit that he hadn't seen who she was. During the journey, she got to know the others in the performing group. The leader, Eduard, was very welcoming and chatty. He also asked no questions about her past, as long as she did the same.

On some days, she sat with the group. They were quite silly and she couldn't help but laugh along with their jokes. In these moments, she forgot about why she was there. She felt unfettered. However, this never lasted long. Lying awake at night, Narissa thought about her plans. She'd find a place that was simple and nice. Somewhere people didn't know her.

Cedric pondered his life as he traveled on his way to Vylonia with the caravan. As he did he mainly conversed with the caravan leader ans the other escorts but from time to time he would chat up the other members in charge of cooking when he helped them cook. Being one who has traveled far and wide he knew a lot about cooking and ingredients. He was an adventurer at heart who enjoyed trying many new things which meant experimenting with food as well, as such he had quite the palate for food. On his travels he felt at peace with the caravan and started to contemplate settling down somewhere for the first time in his life.

Eventually, the journey came to an end. Vylonia was a large city surrounded by walls. There was a line leading into the gate. Papers were checked. Narissa couldn't help but slightly hold her breath as the guard looked over her documents. Once he handed them back, she scurried through the gate. She'd stick with the group for a little while before splitting up.

Inside the walls of Vylonia was a sprawling urban area. It was easy to see the the higher the roads went, the richer the district. Narissa, acting as Tilly, stuck close to the group. The guild had spies everywhere, even in foreign countries. She did her best to blend in.
