Spoiler: Ghost 

Name: Jack Carrington, codenamed "Ghost" by the Earth's governments.
Age: Unknown, probably in early to mid twenties.
Gender(m/f): Male

Spoiler: Appearance 

"Ghost is reported to be a tall, lean muscled man. Not much is known about his appearance as reports vary on different cases of his exploits - one thing that is universally accepted is that the man has eyes of a startling blue, undoubtedly the result of a cybernetic augmentation and that he always wears a mask on his mossions to conceal his identity from the public." - A report from the Skorne Empire's Criminal Database.

In actuality, Ghost has dark brown, almost auburn hair and a small horizontal scar running across his upper lip. His eyes are indeed a startling baby blue, the result of cybernetic augmentations done to enchance his unique skills.

Race: Human Cyborg with minor cybernetic enhancements

Job: Gunner (though he's also pretty good at scouting if required)

Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4):
Adaptability - Whilst having cybernetics within his body, Ghost still retains the adaptability and hardy constitution of the Human race against diseases and other harmful ailments.

Needle in a Haystack - Like most Humans, Ghost can blend in with most when he isn't wearing his mask and hood. This gives him an element of surprise when people need someone dead - you'll never see him coming.

Target Finder - Ghost's enhanced vision allows him to sport enemies from a massive distance, his cybernetics enabling him to zoom in and highlight potential threats other people haven't spotted.

Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5):

One Shot, One Kill - Ghost is a renowned marksman with his rifle, often hitting the sweet spot between a persons eyes when taking out a target. Give him a clear line of sight, a rooftop or large target and he'll take them down a good nine times out of ten with a single shot.

Kickboxing Kid - Before becoming a renowned assassin and mercenary, the man formerly known as Jack Carrington studied the sport of kick boxing for nearly seven years, starting from his eighth birthday. As a result, he can hold his own in a bar fight... I mean, he'd prefer to shoot someone but, meh.

Dead Silence - Ghost isn't one to make himself known. Hence his name. His skill in the art of stealth and recon has been developed over tome from the numerous bounties, assassinations and infiltrations he has undertook in his line of work.

Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons):

Genotech Mrk V Modified Blaster Rifle - The Genotech Bladter Rifle is a variant of the popular sniper rifles used by most modern armies in the galaxy. However, Ghost's weapon is a heavily modified variant that's nearly three times as good: With a long range scope capable of seeing enemies over large distances, long polymer barrel and powerful laser receiver, it's the tool of Ghost's trade and his most prized possession.


Carbon Nanosteel Wrist-Blade - A small, common weapon in most armies designed to fit inside a persons glove for close combat. When a button is pressed, the blade juts out the glove and can be used for combat.

Armor(one sensible suit of armor): A light suit of carbon based armor that is semi-resistant to most forms of ranged weaponry. At close range though it can be fairly unreliable.

Augs(Limit of 3):

GEV - Genetically Enhanced Visuals were implanted into Ghost's body when he was around sixteen, following his injury on a colony he sustained while fighting in the Human Navy. The GEV implant has given Ghost the ability to see through smoke, water via heat signatures (much like thermal imagery).

Personality: Ghost is... Difficult to adjust to. Quiet, distant and somewhat disrespectful, he only does what he feels is in his best interests for himself. That being said, when you get to know him properly the subtle hints of humour and sarcasm from his hidden demeanour shine through and are oddly surprising, and the man can be loyal to those he likes.

Likes:
-Money (not cheques though... They can easily go and cash themselves and return)
-Sniper rifles and the occasional good assault blaster
-Battles and Bullets (A TV show back home on Omega)

Dislikes:
-Smaller weapons
-Scumbag earthlings.

Spoiler: Background: 

Born on the galaxy's scum pit Omega, Jack Carrington grew up amongst the worst vagabonds in the Skorne Empire and was practically raised in the arts of criminal endeavours. His adopted father, Zeros Ratan was a Rodentian smuggler who would have the young boy help out in his "import/export business" back on Omega, often using the young Human as a distraction so they could move the goods away from the security forces, who in actuality, weren't especially intelligent now I think about it. It was through these odd jobs that the boy quickly learnt the complex mechanisms of the criminal underworld - kill or be killed.

On his fourteenth birthday, Jack was given a present that would shape his life forever in more ways then one. His first blaster rifle. The weapon was a rusted, rented old thing with bent iron sights that made aiming tricky but the lad loved it - every day he would practice and ultimately, those rusted visuals on the weapon made him a more proficient marksman in the long run.

Two years after he first fired a rifle, the young boy enlisted in the space fleet of the Terra Prime homeworld, joining on as a Marksman. However, what he thought would be the journey of a lifetime turned into a nightmare, as things turned to shit only a month after his enlistment.

His squad had been dropped on a small colony just outside Terra's cluster of planets where a rebel group bad been causing some trouble for the governments. It had been a simple enough mission: Get in, eliminate the targets and get out. Easy right? Nope, it wasn't. See, what the higher ups hadn't informed him, was that the targets were farmers and children who had risen up over the government forcibly conscripting their children against their will into the military. When the shots were fired, Jack had tried to intervene only to be shot in the eyes with a blaster pistol and left for dead.

Waking up, he found himself in a medical hospital with his eyesight restored. What shocked him, was the fact he could see the heat signatures of the doctors in the opposite room.

Over time, the boy known as Jack Carrington died and was replaced by the vengeful incarnation of the young mans hatred, anger and frustration of the way things were in the galaxy. With his trusty rifle, he slowly eliminated the perpetrators of the attack on the Farming Colony and made a name for himself as a mercenary for hire, ruthlessly taking any and all contracts against the Skorne Empire, seeing their brutality and merciless attitude as a danger not only to himself, but to everyone in the galaxy, earning a massive bounty to be placed upon his person from the Empire.
Either via a bullet wound to the head or a stab wound to the heart, you can count on him to get the job done:

For he was not seen or heard. He was a Ghost.

Another day, another contract:

The lyrics of the famous song made famous by the legendary Bill Withers played inside the mind of the sniper as he sat on the balcony overlooking the speech of the fanatical leader of the Xenophobic League of Procen-9, Merriete Lafayette. The augmentations in the mans eyes locked on to the target and showed the stats for the range of the speaker, detailing the ideal place to pull the trigger, right above the xenophobe's head. "Well, time to get to business."

The loud, echoing bang from the muzzle on the Ghost's rifle rang out across the area, birds flying away in fright and people in the crowd turning around quizically in the direction in the shot. Rapidly, the laser from the blaster rifle flashed for but a second before burning a hole in the woman's chest and hitting the wall behind her.

Chaos ensued.

"Right, time to message the client and tell her I need a pickup... Unless she wants her best shot stranded on the rooftops of New Tennont.". Dialling the code on his omnitool, Ghost quickly patched through his coordinates and pulled the hood of his jacket up before sprinting across the rooftops of the alien capital, spotting the familiar flash of light from the nearby government Cruiser ships heading towards his location. Tapping his left temple to activate the GEV implant inside his head, the sniper looked around the roofs to find the quickest route towards he rendezvous point located at the shipyards.

Spotting one of the entrance hatches to one of the dozens of alleyways underneath, Ghost used his cybernetic skeleton to drop down with little to no harm done besides a numb tingling in his ankles. Setting off into a sprint he leaped over a gate and used his wristblade to cut through the chain link on the fence leading towards the shipyard, eyeing the numerous different areas in which he could hide in until the ship and his crew arrived.

"C'mon, hurry up ya idiots... Next episode of Battle and Bullets is on in twenty minutes - better not miss it."

Alright Daniel, good character got a few things though.

1: His augs make things a little unfair, I'm willing to give you the thermo sight and able to see through smoke and water, but not barriers and the computer assisted specs. If he's such an awesome sniper I doubt he would need a V.A.T.S system.

2: The Terra Prime Navy wouldn't be quite what you made them into, but the Terra Space Fleet would be. So just a little thing to change there.


3: Seeing as we just left the Hangar in BSP and your guy was nowhere in the opening round we'll need to change up his background some. He'll need to join the crew on the new planet alongside my guy Leo Swiftpaw, so instead of saying he joined the Black Star you could say he's doing some independent work or he even joined in on the planet rush to cover his tracks from someone out to get him. You mentioned the Skorne in your sheet so it's easily said he's on the Skorne hit list and anyone with those bastards on their trail would be doing their best to be hiding. Cause Skorne are the most technologically advance race in the BSP universe and have an extremely ruthless and efficient military and very few would dare square off with them.

Oh, and I'm envisioning a Gimli-Legolas rivalry between Krahe and Ghost now with the whole "I'm a bigger badass" vibes.
